Without a doubt the best grocery store in Coimbra. The selection is huge. They have a good selection of bio organic foods too. They also carry light bulbs and clothing and other accessories that you might need. This would be my first and only choice to go grocery shopping in Coimbra. Obviously better if you have a car, but you can grab a taxi for about 4 euros.

Really good vegetarian/vegan range, much better than Coimbra Shopping. I just wish they'd stock Quorn, like they do in the Algarve. It was super busy this morning, but the staff were fantastic and very helpful, despite having to do a million things at once.

Huge supermarket with a wide range of products. Love the fresh food section with its wide range of cheeses, fish and meats. Other products include clothes, toiletries, and household items. And a large wine section where you can get good buys. Prices are fair.

Very large Continente store situated inside the Forum shopping centre. Stocks of many brands that are unavailable elsewhere. Tends to be very busy with long queues at the checkout lanes.

Lots to choose from in here and prices are good. Clean and safe and tidy. Shopping centre does not charge for parking. Helpful employees. Get a card to enjoy points and discounts.

Continente has a great variety of all products , including vegan products, in my opinion this is the Continente with the most vegan options and they always keep it restocked, the location is also good because it's inside Forum so it has a lot os parking space and even other stores to visiit if needed.
