Serra Vida is a magical place with abundant nature, meditative & joyful spirit and lovely hosts. I‘m lucky to experience a yoga teacher training here and be carried by the loving spirit of this place. The rooms have a lot of comfort, fireplace, beautiful interior & a patio with stunning views over the valley or the river. the whole property is designed with lovely details to go into inner processes, to rejuvenate & connect with nature on a deep level. Thank you Shona, Daniel & Leon for creating this oasis. It feels like a home!

My recent stay at Serra Vida was nothing short of magical. The location is breathtaking - a beautiful river to swim in, incredible flora and fauna surrounding you. Such a deep sense of peace allowing for so much presence!! The accommodation is gorgeous and so comfy. We stayed in the Mill Cottage and I have to say the sheets were so soft!! We also had the most incredible private balcony facing the river. Bliss! If you're looking for a place to unwind, connect with nature or other beautiful humans, this is the place for you!! Big recommend, will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Serra Vida is easily one of the most beautiful places in nature I’ve ever visited. The land holds such an energy of presence, calmness, and overwhelming beauty… the sound of the river that we could hear from our cottage, and an outside shower with the most beautiful view (which even had warm water!) - truly an amazing experience, and we’ll be back for sure! Daniel & Shona are lovely & warm hosts, who made us feel incredibly welcome!

My experience at Serra Vida can be describe as magical, this place has so many things to offer: rive bath, forest walks, little hikes, a beautiful yoga pavilion with the most stunning views over the national park. We stayed at the Mind Mill house and it felt like we were sent back in time. the building has around 100y and has been modernised so that all the comforts are there and you can experience living in an historical mill. Shona, David and Leon are the most amazing hosts, caring, sweet and fun. Go visit the beautiful thing that they created together with Mother Nature.

Serra Vida truly is a PARADISE, a lush heaven on Earth! The houses/ rooms are newly renovated, extremely well insulated with cork and cool in summer (no need for aircon though there is), they are spacious and gorgeous with breathtaking views. Eco-friendly with integrity, beauty and yet luxurious comfort. The natural pool is so clear, all the different terraces and decks all the way to the mindblowingly beautiful yoga shala offer views that you will not forget. I have never encountered any place cared for with such deeication to living in harmony with nature, yet comfort and luxury, where the landscape is so lovingly honored and giving back abundantly, if you pay a visit, make sure to walk the magical forests and along the lush water stream, fruit and flowers blooming, scents filling the air. Biggest gratitude to the hosts Daniel, Shona and Leon for welcoming us so lovingly from the very first moment and taking care of all our needs throughout the stay. MUITO OBRIGADA

Serra Vida is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The surrounding nature is mesmerizing, including a river you can swim in, and the guest houses are just really cozy and comfortable (with small wood ovens). Especially people who love art and music will be taken by this place, since there are some beautiful art pieces, beautifully crafted furniture, and big jam sessions. Also, the hosts and owners made me feel really welcome there and helped out if questions arose. All in all, a really inspiring experience, and I hope to stay longer next time!

Serra Vida is a blissful place with a wonderful, wild, enchating Portugese landscape. A perfect place to relax, 5 star accommodation with a salt water pool, beautiful yoga shala, and a river for contemplation & bathing. The hosts are lovely, super accommodating, and made sure we felt at home. We loved our weekend here on retreat and are so looking forward to coming back!
