One of the main spots for tourism in Evora, the Giraldo Square is a meeting point for outsiders and locals. If you need free wi-fi, you can find a network here. Other than that, enjoy the remarkable architecture of the fountain and the church.

Beautiful square with wonderful tile work. Lots of wonderful people watching. Have a meal here and enjoy being a moment in time in such an historical place.

Center of old Evora, and a lot of interesting buildings arround. Well worth to visit when you are in town. Do only avoid eating at the square as it is a tourist trap. To expensive and there are better quality nearby. If you have a numismatic interest pop in to Banco de Portugal filial , a building at the square to get the latest commemorative and collector coins. It is also makes a good souvenir.

The main square of the city; small shops around and cafés to rest and eat something. Recommended when visiting Evora!

Pretty little square right in the heart of the city. Not much to look at during the day, but at night we were treated by a large number of tables where one could sit down and order delicious typical food and drinks from the nearby restaurants. This could’ve been related to the local summer festival that was going on all month, however. The choice of artists was a bit unfortunate - harsh hip-hop when the evening asked for jazz and acoustic guitars - but I can’t fault the location for this.
