Stayed in Lagos in April for 4 nights. Wow!! Can’t say enough good things about the Infante Guesthouse. First, you will not beat the location. Completely walkable to everything in town. The views from the rooftop are very charming. The owners have put so much thought into every aspect of the design. You will really feel like you are living in Lagos. The town is incredibly safe. Probably the best thing about staying here is the owners give you a detailed orientation of everywhere you should go including best places to eat, cheapest car park, they will even book excursions for you if you want! But most importantly they respect your privacy and can be as involved or uninvolved as you wish. They are very accessible if you need them, but also live off-site. For the value of what you are getting, you really can’t find a better place in Lagos! If we ever come back we are only staying here!!

Infante Guesthouse is a hidden gem of the Algarve. We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The hosts are incredibly attentive and welcoming. Marek helped us plan the best experience in Lagos and beyond. Our room was simple but impeccably clean and comfortable. The rooftop is the star of this house and you can enjoy some of the best views of the city and beach while relaxing. If city noise bothers you, the location on the central square might be a bit noisy but it was not a problem for us and we enjoyed being at the center of everything. We would love to come back here.

We had a great 3 nights in Lagos in this beautiful guesthouse! Such a good location central to everything, we received very helpful advice on places to eat and where to go when we first arrived. Can’t recommend the infante guesthouse enough! Will definitely come back next visit.

Located in the heart of the old city of Lagos with amazing ocean view from roof top kitchen and 5 min walk from the beach this guest house is the best place to stay here. Place is very clean and well maintained. Isabella and Marek are welcomed hosts and make their best to give tourists really good experience from staying here. All their suggestions of local activities and restaurants were 5 out 5. Highly recommended.

The room is gorgeous, but the rooftop patio even more so. The location is second to none and the experience is unbeatable. Marek and Isabel are outstanding hosts, and takes a genuine interest in their guests. They had great tips to get the best experience during our stay, activities and small gems we wouldn't find on Google and even more importantly they told us what to avoid. We will be coming back when he has availability again!

This accommodation was just amazing. You have everything you need there! The host was so friendly and helpful! He gave us all necessary information about the city! We just followed his suggestions and we enjoyed it a lot. The terrace is magnificent! We were so lucky to stay here it was wonderful time there!

Wow, this place is the best. Marek and Isabel bring you in like you are family and tell you all the secrets of Lagos. Laughter all round. Marek made my food journey of Lagos amazing. Had a wonderful 3 nights, relaxing on the balcony with a coffee/rose, sleeping off the jet lag and resting. Highly recommend!

I’ve been traveling in Portugal for 6 weeks and this was by far my favorite place to stay! The rooms are so comfortable and Isabel & Marek are the best hosts. The location is also unbeatable. Will be recommending this spot to anyone visiting Lagos and hope to come back soon!

Marek and Isabel are the sweetest and kindest couple as well as the perfect hosts! They took time to talk to us about the neighbourhood, where to eat and places to see. We loved our room, the beautiful terrace facing the sea and the kitchen available to us at all times. We continue enjoying Infante Guesthouse through live stream! Great experience staying there and would highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Lagos you HAVE TO stay here. One of the best experiences I’ve had traveling. The hosts make everything so personal, the rooms and common areas are super clean and comfortable, and they really thought of every little detail. Marek, one of the hosts, spent an hour with us putting together a great itinerary to experience Lagos like a local. They also have the best rooftop terrace that I spent a lot of my time on because it’s so homey and beautiful! 11/10 recommend a stay here.

If you want to get the best out of Lagos, then this is the place to come. Marek's introduction to the best places to go was absolutely spot on. The place was meticulously clean, super comfortable and a pleasure to stay at. All of the little touches, like a QR code in the kitchen for you to book your activities and airport transfer on, with all the hassle removed. Really raised the bar for us on what a guest house can be.

Great Guesthouse: nice and clean rooms, hosts Marek and Isabel are very nice and very very helpfull, location is the best spot in town, close to some great restaurants, bars and large parking place (€ 4,- a day). From here you can easily discover beautiful Lagos and the awesome Algarve! We definitely go back! ❤️

Amazing experience all around! It was my first time traveling solo as well as first time in Lagos. Marek & Isabel were incredibly welcoming and made everything feel extremely smooth & safe. They also made sure all the local insights were shared so my limited time was not wasted. Highly recommend!

A nice place to stay while in Lagos. We enjoyed the rooftop patio and chatting with other guests. Merrick gave us great recommendations for dining which we very much enjoyed. They are lovely hosts and run a nice guesthouse with a communal kitchen which we really appreciated. The rooms are very clean and the air conditioning works great. Their rooms have excellent shades to block the sun and good windows to silence the noise, but Lagos is a loud town with people partying all night. Bring your earplugs and a sound machine.

We spent 6 days at this special place. We've travelled a lot, but we've never found another place as hospitable as Infante Guesthouse in Lagos Old Town. It is steps away from an array of restaurants, shops & activities. Our room was spacious with a king bed. However, the best part was the rooftop terrace, and most importantly our hosts, Marek & Isabel. The rooftop has a spectacular ocean view. Perfect for a morning coffee to watch the town wake up. It was also a chance to meet with other guests & share their travel experiences. Our hosts were a part of this, occasionally joining the evening festivities. They have created an environment second to none. A true 10!

The Infante Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay to explore Lagos. The owners, Isabel and Marek, have thought of every detail a traveler needs. The room we stayed in was spotless, with a comfortable bed and an air conditioner that kept the room cool without any noise. Marek gave us great advice about restaurants and booked a last-minute kayak trip for us that we would have missed without his help. Because our room at the guesthouse was located above a working restaurant, there was some noise our first night when we went to bed early. But that didn’t stop us from sleeping soundly.

Look no further, this is THE place to stay in Lagos. I had the most lovely time at Infante Guesthouse. Marek and Isabel are such kind, thoughtful hosts and their property reflects that in its beauty, cleanliness, and attention to every detail. They were able to squeeze me in at the last minute and made my entire stay such a joy.

I would come back to Lagos just to stay at Isabel and Marek's guesthouse again. Our stay at Infante Guesthouse was one of the best hotel experiences I have had while traveling. First of all, the hotel is spotless- they clean the shower curtain between each guest's stay and we even caught Isabel vacuuming around a picture frame! Our room was appropriately sized and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, Isabel and Marek went above and beyond to make our stay in their guesthouse and in Lagos enjoyable. Marek spent an hour with us when we first arrived showing us around the guesthouse and the gorgeous rooftop (with views of the water and a stocked honesty bar), and giving us insider tips on restaurants and activities. Our trip simply would not have been the same without them- they made Lagos feel like home. The one downside is that the guesthouse is located next to a square which can get a bit loud at night. Overall, Isabel and Marek put their hearts into this guesthouse and it shows. Would highly recommend!

We are very happy with the accomodations here. The beds are so comfortable and rooms are spotless. Very comfortable and relaxing environment. Love the roof top for morning coffee and an evening toast. The recommendations for what to do and where to eat are spot on. We truly love this guest house.

It's pretty simple, this is not your everyday guest house or hotel. When checking-in, you get a sit down of a half hour (unless you are in a hurry) and you are given useful tips about the main attractions in Lagos, good (and bad) restaurants, tourist traps to avoid, etc. During out stay, we had lunch and dinner at all the restaurants they had suggested us and we couldn't have asked for more. They know their stuff, everything was perfect, Isabella and Marek are wonderful hosts. You will love the place.

If you want to stay in a modern , well kept , guesthouse right in the centre of Lagos, where the owners care about their guests, spend a great deal of time explaining the area and the best activities and restaurants ( that you would not otherwise find) , and provide everything you could need during your stay, at a very reasonable price, then Infante Guesthouse is the perfect place for you. Marek and Isabelle are the perfect hosts. They met us upon arrival, told us everything we would need to know, recommended non touristy restaurants that we loved and would otherwise not have found. The guest house is immaculately clean ( they do all the work themselves and their expectations are very high), has great quality mattresses and bedding, and Air Conditioning which was a bonus, and is in the perfect location for Lagos . They have a rooftop terrace where you can eat breakfast or enjoy a drink while overlooking the main square and the beach. The water pressure in the shower is excellent . There is a shared kitchen where you can make a cup of coffee or tea to enjoy on the roof. The owners live very close and are on property most of the day and otherwise, will be there in case you need them. Our compliments to Marek and Isabelle. We will be back to see you next time we come to Lagos. Thanks for the perfect vacation.

I loved everything about my stay at Infante guest house! The location is ideal, and if you book the right room you get a beautiful view--the view from the rooftop terrace is great regardless of which room you take! The guesthouse itself is warm, stylish, and immaculately kept. Isabel and Marek are the best hosts I've ever had, genuine hospitality. They let us know all about the area, what to see and do, and made the booking for our amazing kayak tour. Isabel even walked with me to the hospital and stayed with me 2.5 hrs when I needed stitches, and we had great conversation and laughed a little too much! How could you not love these people?

What the.... Made a reservation for one night for two people on May 31 for Oct 1, 2022. Got conformation of the reservation and 30-minutes later got an email that they cancelled the reservation as it was ONLY for ONE NIGHT, and they require THREE NIGHTs Minimum. That is NO WAY to do business, especially since they are about the highest priced hotel in the area. SAD!

Incredible! I don’t even know where to begin - everything was so amazing about this place and my experience! Marek and Isabel truly felt like family there and were always willing to help or provide the BEST recommendations. Location: right in the heart of the old town square with an incredible view of the water. Despite being right by the action, the entrance is somewhat hidden and very secure which made me feel extremely safe. Bedroom (#3): very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great! Bathroom in the room was nice for privacy; while small it had everything I needed (they even provided a hair dryer, body wash and shampoo). Bed was very comfortable and the room had hangers/a rod/shelving to unpack. Guesthouse: the place is spotless! The rooftop is such an amazing space to have access to. There are sections shaded from the sun and others not, so you can be comfortable anywhere. This was a great spot to do some work in the afternoons when necessary (there were outlets too). There is also a kitchen/bar area where you can store your own food/drinks or purchase. There is a common area on the first floor, though I always chose to spend my time on the roof. They also have beach toys/games/miscellaneous items available should you need them. Hosts: Marek and Isabel are WONDERFUL! They truly made my stay more incredible than I could have ever imagined. They were so thoughtful and kind! Marek sat with me upon check in to chat, get to know each other, and talk through everything Lagos had to offer. He suggested various restaurants/activities/day trips to consider and was always more than happy to send more recommendations throughout my stay. While they don’t stay in the guesthouse, they are nearby should you need anything and came by a few times to take care of something and hang out on the roof. It was so lovely getting to know them better over a drink on the roof in the evening. I am so happy I came across this place and will 100% choose to stay here again in Lagos. Thank you Marek and Isabel for showing me the best of Lagos, I am already so excited to come back!!!

We had a great stay at the questhouse. Early morning breakfast on the rooftop terrace, late evenings on the rooftop terrace, just perfect! Marek and Isa are the best! They inform you about the best places in town and the best activities and can help you arrange everything you need.

The guesthouse is in the most ideal location in Lagos, with the beautiful beaches just a few minutes walk from the property. Lovely clean room, which was the perfect size for a solo traveller. The communal roof terrace is gorgeous with an stunning view of the ocean. The best part.. Marek and Isabel! Staying here feels like you’re staying with old friends. Marek gave me a great introduction to Lagos, with tips on where to explore, cute coffee shops to visit and local spots to eat. I can’t wait to come back. 10 stars!

Wonderful location (and hosts) near the heart of town, a few minutes walk from the nearest beaches, hosts frequently joined guests on the roof top terrace, which includes a small bar area. Would recommend for solo and couple travellers.
