    UPSCALE SHOPPING WITH A LARGE BASEMENT FOOD COURT The New World is a very modern department store above the East Nanjing metro station on the corner of Henan and Nanjing Roads. It has mostly very high end clothing as well as a good selection of restaurants and a supermarket in the basement levels. Secret Recipe on level B2 is a good place to grab lunch if you like Malaysian food.

    Shanghai New World Dawan Department Store (Shanghai New World Daimaru) The world's largest spiral escalator was right here in this Japanese department store and shopping mall on the corner of Henan Road (Henan Lu) Clean toilet, nice staff and great service.
