Cleanliness could be better. Loved the kind of people this hostel attracted, met my current best friend there while staying there in February. Shared toilets are pretty gross. Great location though, but a bit difficult to find as in the building there's no signs for this hostel outside.

I had a private room with my own bathroom so did not encounter some of the issues others had. The staff is very hospitable and the rooms are proper for what you pay, especially given the great location. Lots of great restaurants in the area, very close to the subway. For the price, this place is a no-brainer.

Good for young people who do not want to pay much for the the stay. We took a room without window but with private bathroom and toilet. Staff were good and helpful. The location is the best part

Accidentally went to the wrong branch after writing down the address wrong, so didn't go to the one I had arranged for. Despite this they were very accommodating and I was able to get a room. The room itself had everything you could need. Only qualm would be a lack of hand soap. The location is very central. Very good overall

Good: - The room was of decent size and quite comfortable. - Nice common area and huuuge terrasse. - The location is very good, surrounded by lots of places where to grab a bite (including cheap breakfast material) and close to the metro and bus stops. Not that good: - I didn't like having to leave a security deposit of 200 CNY because we requested 2 access cards (the initial 100 CNY was enough, the deposit is for the room, not for the 5 CNY plastic card...)

A little hard to find since it is located on the 6th floor of a random building. I had a single room so had my own bathroom. Room was ok-sized, reasonably clean. Bathroom was small but also clean enough. Location is really good and just a few minutes walk to Nanjing Road. Generally, I'm not really a hostel person and don't use the common areas others usually appreciate. Nevertheless, staying there for two nights was ok for me. Next time, I'll rather pay for a hotel room though. The girls at reception were a bit too casual for my taste but were kind enough to order me a taxi to the airport.

Good location. The bathrooms and toilets and passage way from the rooms to the bathroom area needs refurbishing, the room was spacious and clean. Beds were decent, staff is very friendly. Would be great if the hostel organised more events.

Looking for convenient price for rooms, hostel is more than relevant. Nice persons in lobby ready to help anytime, and very good organization of all necessary information for travel in Shanghai and as well as in other famous cities and places. Do not expect comfort and food, only good bar. Milan
