Don’t come here if you are not Caucasian. There is no host to assign seats, however if you take the table with nice view and you’re not Caucasian, they will inform you the table has RMB1200 minimum. If you’re Caucasian, you can take the nice table by ordering just one beer. Attached pictures show Caucasian-only area and other-race area.

Good price for happy hour drinks, even if the band wasn’t playing yet. We got here at about 7:30 and got to hear the band warming up until about 8, which was a plenty great experience. Think we’re charged 78rmb per glass of wine rather than 68 and 60 for beer instead of 50. Accepted Visa and MasterCard, though their credit card machine didn’t seem to be working tonight.

I was not sure by reading some of negative reviews regarding discrimination(?), however, nothing at all, but staff are normal and I secured my seat where I wanted. My conclusion, this bar is more than excellent.

What a hidden gem in Shanghai. I've been there 3 times on separate visits. They don't open until 5:30 pm so don't expect to get lunch here. The bands rotate through on a circuit with the occasional American band. I didn't try the cocktails but enjoyed the beer. Fresh and cold Murphy's Stout a nice break from the local pilsners. The owner and his son have many good stories to tell. Tip them well and stay for the music.

Absolutely phenomenal service, great drinks, and the band was great. Definitely recommend for anyone in the Bund area when coming to Shanghai. Also, shoutout to the bartender Frank for all of the suggestions on cocktail bars and places to visit!

Sunday night jam session! It was so good, featuring quality artists and musicians from America, France and Australia. The absolute highlight of our trip to Shanghai. Staff were very good and attentive. The place was still going when we left at 1:00am.

Low key but classy Jazz Club right off the Bund. Great cocktails and live music.

Great place to meet people and listen to really good jazz groups! One of my favorite bars in Shanghai!

Music was great. Muddy waters and a few others. Didn’t try the food. Bartenders were stilted, almost rude. Drinks were mediocre. Cool room with great atmosphere.
