Treetops Adventure Newcastle

Tourist attraction High ropes course

👍 Great adventure for adults and kids above 8 years of age. This is huge and not easy task for any adults. Easy 2.5 hours for all adult climbing. However for kids under 3 to 7 they have limited option. The price for the kids is not justifiable hence the 4 star instead of 5. People often mention kids, courses, staff, Great, great, experience, time, family, friendly, amazing,

Tree tops is not for the faint hearted! Whilst I am a bit afraid of heights, it was lots of fun to do obstacles in the sky. Out of the 4 adult courses, I did three and opted out of the final “boss level” course as I was a bit too scared. They were lots of fun. I would say that I reckon it’s easier if you’re on the taller side, but there are steps everywhere for flying fox elements and bits where you have to re clip (for reference, I’m 167cm and needed the steps at times). Overall it was nice to get out of Sydney, and I’m looking forward to trying other treetops locations (maybe I’ll be brave enough to try the final level at other locations...!!) Definitely recommend

Great. There are about 4 courses for kids under 7, adult are a bit too big so you will not be able to climb with your small person. The youngest I saw was about 3, which I found impressive as I don't think my 3yo would be able to do it just yet. Plenty of parking, bring your lunch and own water. Well staffed with friendly climbers.

This is an incredibly fun place to spend a few hours! With three different levels, there's something for everyone. The first level is great for beginners, while the hardest course should only be attempted if you have a lot of energy and are up for a challenge. Trust me.. it lives up to its reputation and is really hard, but also incredibly rewarding if you enjoy fitness activities. Because this place is so popular, it's important to book ahead of time to secure your spot. But don't let that deter you – it's definitely worth it! Overall, this is an extremely enjoyable experience for anyone looking for a fun and challenging way to stay active.

We’ve been to Treetops several times now. The adventure itself is pretty awesome - a nice range of adventures from pretty straightforward to quite challenging. Best of all is the staff. They’re consistently the most helpful, fun and encouraging people there. Thanks so much!

This was totally AWESOME!!!! Definitely worth the cost and the trip. The staff were fantastic, really helpful when we needed it, and laid back when we didn’t need help. The course is a lot of fun! It is great that the start of each course is a test to see if you will cope with how strenuous the course is. Next time we are bringing lunch to enjoy in the national park.

Great courses, we went during the week and were one of two groups at the time. So we had no wait times. I felt so unfit though, but had a great time. The green and blue courses are a slight challenge with some great ziplines and views. Red is a nice challenge. Black although I didn't do I was told is a real challenge.

I would absolutely recommend Tree Tops. We took 4 kids aged between 10 and 12. They absolutely loved it, and so did the mums! It was such a great day out. The staff were amazing. Always there to help and encourage the kids. Thanks guys. We will definitely be back!

Loved it. Equipment was easy to use - short training session and then free to explore at your own pace. and the kids tracks were perfect for our 5 year old. We will definitely recommend, and be back ourselves.

Bianca and Michael were awesome, so caring and diligent but also light-hearted and fun. We had an amazing experience and will be back next year when my son is 13 and can do the black course!

Woah, what an incredibly special experience! Amazing to be amongst the bush landscape. The staff were so lovely and the climbing fun and challenging for both the adults and kids. The best part is the flying fox!

I took my two daughters here a couple of weeks ago. They are aged 12 & 14 so I had to go on it with them to help where needed. All the of us had a great time. After a 20 minute training desk we got started. We did the three main courses but not the black course as you need to be at least 16. The only issue we had is we decided to go last which meant we were behind about 15 other people. At one stage the younger kids ahead of us had trouble and we had to wait about 15-20 minutes before we could move forward. If we did it again we'd go in the middle somewhere. Overall though it was fun and well worth it.

Wow! Our first time here today and it was amazing! The team are incredible. A special shout out to Evan, Kaitlyn, Clarence, Elyssa and Damien. Their care, help and professionalism was much appreciated. Kaitlyn explained the instructions amazingly well and cheered me on when I got overwhelmed as I’m not great with heights but today has made me feel super confident that I’ve now overcome my fear and completed both the green and blue courses! What an amassing experience. My husband and 3 kids and I had a ball! My little girl had a few tears but didn’t give up and completed both courses too! Well done Tree Tops Minmi! We will be back

Great experience for kids (and adults). Kept our 5 year old entertained for 2 hours. Friendly and well organised. They have a variety of courses of varying difficulty so there should be something for everybody.

  • 5/5 Leah S. 1 year ago on Google
Took my 5 and 7 year old and they had an absolute ball. The staff were incredibly patient, kind and friendly, explaining all the rules in a very child focused manner. Can't wait until miss 7 is a little older and can conquer some of the trickier courses.

  • 5/5 Cinnamon T. 1 year ago on Google
Highly recommend for all ages. There is a variety of different courses depending on age, experience and fitness level. As 4 adults in their late 20's this was a fantastic day with lots of laughs and peer encouragement. The high zip lines are so much fun and the feeling of achievement when you finish a harder courses is worth the slight inkling of fear. There is a shop for food and water, the instructor staff are very helpful and friendly.

  • 5/5 Cassie M. 1 year ago on Google
It was great how the instructor checked who had been before. As a result of this my family of 4 were able to go first and as regular customers, no one could catch us. So we were not being held up by inexperienced people and could thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Though we are very accepting of beginners and offer assistance if they need 😁

The obstacle courses are well planned and in good condition. There is definitely a difficulty curve between the different courses and I would suggest a moderate fitness level is required for the adult courses. It is worth having a go if you are undecided. The staff are very informative and always watching. They are responsive if you are struggling and there is equipment to safely get you down if while in progress on a course you need to stop. This facility has been in this location for quite a while. I think they should invest in their own restroom and garbage facilities. If you go now, take garbage bags if you intend on having some nibbles or a picnic as there are no bins. It would also suit a separate food and beverage outlet as well.

We had a great afternoon at the Treetops Adventure Park in Minmi. Our group was 2 adults of pretty good fitness and 2 kids under 7. Both kids had a great time! We made sure we took supervision for our kids so us adults could climb together. We did the blue, red and black courses. The blue and red had challenges that we were able to handle pretty well and found it really enjoyable. We then took on the black and there were times I really wanted to give up but we got through it reasonable unscathed. A few cuts and bruises from desperately trying to cling on with every muscle I had but it was incredible worth it! I realise I am making the course sound very dangerous but I didn't feel scared for my safety at all just very determined. The sense of achievement was amazing! We had great support from the staff, it wasnt overcrowded, and there were levels for the whole family. Well worth it for fun, exercise and to challenge yourself.

5/5 this was awesome!! I was a bit scared but the 2 lovely instructors helped us and explained everything so well. Such an adrenaline rush after completing the 2nd course and zip lining over a car park! We will be back again for sure!

This place is set in the bush pushing you to overcome your fear of heights along with limiting beliefs. I did the advanced course and once you start there's no way back you must complete. The staff are friendly the location is perfect. You will have to take in the local kookaburras that are so beautiful. You will climb to heights , test your strength and balance at times you may just need to stop and breathe take in the views. Good value for money and good exciting work out.

The young ladies assisting with briefing and kitting-up were thoroughly pleasant and professional. The obstacles were exceptionally well constructed and the experience was straight out of the Jungle Book with the zoo lions roaring away in the background. Best climbing adventure my family 12 - 45 YO have experienced yet!

One of the best experiences I have ever had! 10/10. When at the 2.30 PM session ,perfect weather and time to see the sunset as well. Tip wear short shirts and pants it will get extremely hot and sweaty! Thank you to the instructors for making our experience a memorable one and always so happy to help. Cheers!

Amazing day with friends and family! Had a go at most of the courses and made the mistake of doing the hardest one without gloves, that was 2 weeks ago and the cuts are still visible. Buy some gloves or bring your own if you wanna try it guys, don’t be like me. Overall a great experience and well worth the price.

We spent one Sunday here when it was relatively busy. The climb courses work well, the harnesses are good, but a bit chunky design. The local wc is in a terrible condition.

I didn't actually go and do the TreeTops course, I sat in the carpark soaking up the beautiful sun with the beautiful bush surrounding me. What a magical place this is. There was a park here which the kids will have fun exploring and also a public toilet which I utilised. The only thing I would suggest is having hand soap available in the toilets. Other than that, I would love to bring my kids here next time.

We took our two grandsons aged 7 and 9 and they had a wonderful time. The littlest guy froze on the purple course but the guy who came to help was wonderful. Gave the boy confidence and got him going again so he could finish the course by himself. My only criticism was the people who arrived late held all the others up and so everyone was late getting through the kitting up and receiving instructions. Rude people need to read and heed the information provided on websites.
