I popped in whilst just going for a walk. I didn’t go to the cafe this time but have been in the past & breaky was good. The nursary is lovely. There is a nice range of all types of plants for sun & shade. Lots of fruit trees and punnet vegies. The staff are smiley & friendly & knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this lovely nursary & cafe.

Fantastic little cafe, the food was absolutely delicious (as was the coffee). Might be worth booking ahead if you'd like a spot in the outside bit as it was fully booked when we arrived. Recommend the chia pot and the french toast.

One of the nicest breakfasts I've had in a long time. The home made bread was the highlight of our visit. The staff were wonderful and catered to our large group even though they were almost to capacity. This little hidden gem is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Truly one of the best breakfasts in the Hunter! We are on holidays here and came across this little gem and so happy we did, We've been back twice! Corn Fritters are incredible as is everything else. It's a cute cafe nestled amongst the green of a beautiful nursery. Great coffee, fresh homemade food, freshly baked bread, it's just a must!!!

Stopped here for a brunch before heading back to Sydney. The cafe was charming and inside a garden centre. It was so green, peaceful and cute, the food was delicious, and their coffee was great too. We didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating which was lovely. I recommend trying their special, the vegetable tart - it was delectable and seemed to sell out fast, totally understandable!

Lovely service, delicious food, great options for everyone, gave a kids menu with a colouring in pic and crayons which was great for the small dude. Great place amongst a nursery. Highly recommend.

Great little place hidden inside a nursery (could do with a bit more signage) and within walking distance/1 min drive from the caravan park. This is less fancy than most of the other places in the area but that was fine for us, as the service and food was great. Fairly priced and serving sizes were decent, table service and takeaway. Didn't wait long for our brekky either.

Very good scones and jam Though not used to the strange tasting French toasts … but the service is great though Parking’s a bit limited

The service and the food here was first class. My breakfast was fantastic and full of wonderful flavour. There are relatively exotic options as well as usual breakfast menu to cater for all tastes. The coffee was high quality and delicious.

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. I had the veggie burger and added a fried egg. One of my fav breakie burgers!! The chilli jam and yoghurt was a great combo. My partner really enjoyed the corn fritters. Highly recommend!

Beautiful brunch. This cafe is located within a beautiful nursery and we got a table near the fountain which gave it a good ambience. We got the french toast and mushroom trio. Both were very satisfying. A highlight was the homemade chilli jam which we loved so much from our meal that we bought one to take home. Highly recommended for a casual brunch or breakfast.

Fabulous breakfast and service in a lovely garden setting. Perfect way to start the day. The French toast & lemon pop overseas were delicious. Perfectly balanced and generous serves.

I’ve been here dozens of times and the food is always fabulous. Homemade scones, breads, jams, etc!? Every time we have guests visiting us we take them here. The best breakfast in Cessnock and Pokolbin for sure!

Went for brunch on Easter Monday. It was very busy and initially we were turned away. However staff managed to accomodate us and the food was worth the wait. Lovely relaxed vibe and fresh food. My fussy parents were very happy with their fresh reuben toasties

Heard so many positives about this place and was excited to finally able to get out here and enjoy a brunch yesterday with my fiancé. The waiter was nice, though when he brought our cutlery and napkins to the table he literally just threw them down and kept going. My fiancé ordered the Avocado bruschetta, with a side of hash brown and mushrooms. Was nice but underwhelming, $18 for the dish and $4 for one hash brown and $4 for 4 half pieces of mushrooms. He left feeling hungry still, we can’t eat beef or pork products due to allergies and there wasn’t much of a BIG breakfast option for vegetarians and we apparently couldn’t swap the beef/pork products for extra veg options on the big breakfast. I ordered the popovers, they felt stale and heated in a microwave (hot on the outside), cold inside and chewy. I was quite disappointed. The waiter didn’t bother to check on us as we attempted to get his attention as he walked around. For $63 for two meals, smoothie and shake, it’s just beyond crazy.

Amazing place, delicious coffee and food. I had Truffled Mushrooms with rocket, goats cheese, poached egg on house made bread with balsamic. 100 % recommendation. Surrounded by plant market where you can buy a lot of goods for your house and garden. Thank you for your service 💖

My wife & I stopped in for breakfast on a wet rainy Sunday morning. I had the Big Breakfast & my lady had the Eggs Benedict. Really great, served hot & didn't have to wait long even though there was a few groups in. Both of us enjoyed our meal & coffee. We will go again soon

It’s our first time having something like the mixed mushroom and quinoa dish - what a surprise it was. Comforting yet delectable, with the broth it sits in bringing out the earthy flavors of the mushrooms, paired perfectly with the labneh. What an impression this left, I cannot recommend this enough. Cafe was beautifully tucked away in a corner of a lush garden, and service was warm and welcoming.

I've dined in at this cafe in the past and it's been lovely. No complaints. It's walking distance from my home. I was pretty shocked today to get a take away soy mocha in my own keep cup and be charged $8.10 for it... I don't think I've ever paid that much anywhere, not even at the airport...

Nice little cafe located in the back corner of the nursery. The menu provides a good selection of delicious wholesome meals. Will return in the future.

A rainy Saturday in the Hunter Valley. Our party of seven decides to lunch, but where? The answer = Simply D'Vine cafe at Nulkaba. We arrive early and browse the adjacent nursery (always recommended). Our outside table ready we settle in for a tasty meal. Our hostess is pleasant and helpful and our chosen dishes arrive promptly. Everyone in our party is well satisfied. The skies clear and we depart to continue our exploration of Pokolbin and Rothbury. Simply D'Vine cafe is recommended for a light meal.

We stopped for a delightful breakfast here as we travelled to the Hunter Valley for a weekend. We used this as a meeting point for the 6 cars we had travelling together. We prebooked the table so that the cafe was prepared for us as we were a larger party. The food was delicious with such a lovely variety on their breakfast menu. I can recommend the corn fritters - they were delicious. Good customer service and great coffee as well. Well worth a looksee

Thanks to the Simply D'vine team for your excellent service and preparation of meals for my special event. Exceptional quality and presentation of food. Not only do the dishes look amazing, they taste phenomenal. All our guests were blown away!

Half of the cafe had empty tables but we were told that everything is booked and waiting time is long. The next group who walked in without booking were given a table. Ordered T/A coffees & banana breads but had to wait more than 20 min. The waitress was very polite and seemed like she was running around by herself. Message to the owner - If it’s beautiful day on the weekend then there should be at least another waitress and could fill whole cafe with guest and offer faster service!

Loved this cute cafe, situated in the nursery it feels so tranquil. The all day breakfast and eggs benedict both came out quick, was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were lovely and attentive. I would highly recommend you stop by for a good feed.

My parents had a great time here for their 31st anniversary. They were very accommodating and allowed me to pay over the phone as well as provide my parents with a very nice view. My mum was so impressed by their chilli jam that bought a jar on her way home. Thanks all (a particular thank you for the lady who served my parents - my mum said that you were very kind).

Place is an absolute joke. Took a seat and everyone was told that food would take about 40 minutes cause of a large booking that was coming. Walked out disgusted

Booked a table for 10.30 on Sunday morning. Arrived at 10.38 to find out that our table was already given away. Appeared that we asked for 10.30 but the staff put us down for 10am. Fair enough, mistake happen but she wasnt very understanding and not very apologetic. She pretended she tried to call us but we didn't have any missed calls. We drove 25min to this cafe after having booked a table and were told to leave and ended up with nowhere else.. (covid + Sunday + dog = very limid options).

Found this little gem for breaky and wow we were impressed. Really good quality breakfast, fast service and friendly staff. I had the corn fritters and my wife the French toast and both were soooo good. If you are in the hunter book in and grab a excellent breakfast. Coffee was excellent as well. Had a bit of a wine hangover and this breaky and coffee made me feel 100% again 😂

Always love this place. Swung in today for some breakfast. Just want to say how good the front of house service was especially the Canadian girl. Owners should give her a pay rise. Excellent service

Just went for tea with a friend she had scones which she said were okay I had a gluten free cheesecake ,very disappointed, it was a tiny tart with dried up cheese, so dry I left most of it. This is the 5th time I have been disappointed with the food here and I thought I would give it another try never again, I know we arrived quite late but as a chef I would never sell or give a customer dried up food.

For breakfast take away during the long weekend, food and coffee hit the spot!

  • 4/5 Chris H. 3 years ago on Google
The food is amazing and the coffee is apparently really good (I don't drink coffee) the staff are extremely accommodating. The location is very deceiving. Parts of the nursery look like they are falling apart, but don't let that deter you from giving it a try.

My new favourite breakfast location! Could not fault anything we had this morning. Simply Divine 😆 Truffle mushrooms on crispy sourdough with fetta, rocket, balsamic drizzle and poached egg. Chia bowl, and not pictured were fluffy pumpkin pancakes with pecan maple syrup and strawberries. My son wolfed them down to quickly to photograph
