The corn muffin is to die for! 😍 The corn beef hash is ground up and for me the texture is as important as the flavor so if you don't mind that it's worth a try. The sausage gravy and biscuits is pretty good for New England area.

OMG! This place has a 1950's atmosphere with black & white checkered tiled floor and red leather-like booths! The food is only exceeded by its terrific service staff! This is Denise!

Service was extremely attentive, and our plates were enormous! Corned beef hash crisped to perfection! We waited 25 minutes on a Saturday, but it was worth it!

Spectacular local diner with amazing breakfast food. Stopped in on a Monday morning and got a table right away. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good and the chicken and waffles was outstanding. Great place to eat for the food and the atmosphere as it is very nostalgic.

The food was incredibly generous, piping hot, and oh-so satisfying. Let me tell you, the ambiance is just downright cozy. It was an absolute delight, this little breakfast spot, and let me assure you, its reputation in Middleboro is absolutely legendary.

Worlds best hash browns! Perfectly crispy and delicious! Everything else was solid and the place is really wonderful. But will come back for those beautiful shredded crispy hash browns.

Quick service, delicious food, & fun cocktails! Everything is reasonably priced. Open for breakfast & lunch — they serve breakfast all day (open till 2:30). Highly recommend!

Excellent diner, unusual for having a full bar. I had a special omelet with brisket hash and cheese, smoky and perfectly cooked, with better-than-usual hash browns. That's my impression of Dave's: a classic diner, with everything, including the service, just a little better than expected.

Highly recommend! Our server, Aubrey, was friendly and super attentive. We got the hot boneless chicken for the appetizer. They were really good! I got the chicken pot pie and my husband got the meatloaf dinner. My pot pie was absolutely delicious! Large portions also. I brought the rest of mine home. Hubby loved the meatloaf dinner. Another good sized portion. The mashed potatoes were creamy and yummy. I can't say enough good things about this place. We live 25 miles away and we will definitely be taking that ride again, soon. Prices were very reasonable. You won't be disappointed. They also serve breakfast all day.

I was glad to hear that they're back to being open for dinner, but I should've known from the mostly empty parking lot that it wasn't going to be as good as I remembered. Most things are the same as they used to be, some things weren't (for example, there's no dessert case at the entrance anymore - boo). The menu has been scaled back by about two pages... the clam strips that I used to love are nowhere to be found, so I ordered a cheeseburger club, which was okay but not worth the $19 they charge for it. The bread was all squished flat... each slice was about 1/8" thick. Actually, the whole sandwich was squished kind of flat. The fried haddock/fish & chips was $20. French toast was $9 and was just two slices, cut into triangles (a total of four halves). Check total for 4 of us was $75 before tip. I know that's about average, but there are at least three other restaurants close by with bigger menus and a better food presentation. Pick one of those for dinner. Stick with Dave's for breakfast.

What can I say? Dave's Diner does not disappoint! Vast menu, good food (can't think of anything I've had over the years that I would say 'oh that was bad"), good service (always a friendly bunch!) and the atmosphere is nostalgic. Love it! Hence I've been a repeat customer for years and years. Recommend to anyone who wants some good eats!
