This place gets 5 starts easy! The meats are smoked perfectly. The portions are huge, so come with an appetite. We saw the famous key lime pie come out a few times to tables, and wanted it so bad, but there was no more room in our stomach. The owner is so friendly, and even came up to our party of 8 saying "just need to tell you, if you want brisket you better get up there because we have about a lb left" Go here, enjoy it!

Not many places earn 5 stars from me, this one does. First time customers, the staff is very friendly, excellent customer service. Now, the food, it's magnificent in my opinion. We ordered loaded baked potatoes with pulled pork, absolutely delicious. Perfectly prepared, huge potatoes, lots of meat, excellent smoke flavor. Actually we could have easily shared one. The smoked cream cheese dip, we couldn't stop eating it until it was gone, even though we couldn't finish our baked potatoes. Unfortunately, after much consideration, there was no way either of us could eat a piece of their homemade pie, which looked delicious. We were told by locals the pie is to die for!!! Definitely recommend this place.

Had lunch here with the family. Fantastic experience! If you know anything about real Texas style brisket this is the place for you. Off the charts good quality that can only come from someone that has the passion to do it the right way. I ordered sliced fatty (point) and it came out a half inch thick! That only happens when it’s done right and melts in your mouth. Enough about the incredible brisket. The ribs, pork and chicken were all great as well. Typically I find pit masters either do ribs or brisket well. Robert has both figured out at a master level. All the sides were obviously made fresh and the corn casserole was over the top. The brisket Mac & Cheese gets an honorable mention. This will be a destination for my family every time we are in Branson and I’d recommend the drive over from the East side if you’re staying over there.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner on our 34th wedding anniversary. She ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I ordered the smoked Mac and Cheese with brisket on it. The food was very good but the brisket was a bit light on my Mac and Cheese for it costing me $15.00. The portions were great and filling.

OLD 76 SMOKEHOUSE The reviews are amazing, can’t wait to try. Don’t judge a restaurant for being attached to a gas station, this place is super cute inside. Edit: the food is amazing & Bob, the owner is so kind. He brought us pork rinds with a special sauce, pork loin & sausage that they make themselves to try. Check out this bread pudding! We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped in to give it a go. Owner and staff were super friendly, food was delicious and you get a pile of it! I got the chopped chicken sandwich and my dad got the brisket sandwich, both were delicious. I ordered the premium side onion rings and they were hot and fresh. The potato salad is the best I’ve had anywhere. I recommend stopping in if you’re looking for some good bbq.

Great little BBQ spot, where the locals like to go. I tried the brisket, and it was excellent. They even asked my if I wanted the fatty end or lean end. I went with the middle :) The pit beans and mac-n-cheese were good, but there is one other spot in the area with better beans, and a different one with better smoke mac. I'd give this a solid 4/5. The corn casserole was excellent- 5/5. And the rolls were delicious and made for a nice sandwich. Also, the BBQ sauce has that unique flavor I love. Reminds me of the best sauces in K.C. For Christmas, we ordered a smoked ham, and I must say it was the best I've ever had. Highly recommended! I'll be back to try some of their other menu options soon. The pies look wonderful too!

WOW. This place is AMAZING! I was KC born and raised, a total BBQ snob, and I think this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The owners were incredibly friendly, the food came out quickly and was so fresh, and the decor is beautiful. My husband and kids have Celiac, and we found out 2 of the family members that own it also have Celiac, so they were incredibly knowledgeable and took extra precautions with everything. I wish I would’ve gotten a photo of the food - it was absolutely remarkable! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Tried Old 76 today on the recommendation of a friend. They were right! Excellent BBQ. Excellent atmosphere. Prices very comparable to other good dine-in bbq places. I will say though that it is not someplace you want to go into if you have a very small amount of time to eat. It took a while to get our food but the flavor and quality made up for the wait. The staff was super friendly and checked in with us several times but not overbearing. We had the ribs and a pulled pork sandwich. Both we very flavorful and moist. No dried out smoked meat here. The potato salad and onion rings were delicious. The smokie corn was not very smokie but it was moist and tender, delicious. The dipping sauce for the rings was too spicy for me but I’m a wimp. The place was very clean, too which is important to me. I can’t wait for it to cool off a bit so we can take advantage of their outside dining area. We will definitely be back!

I LOVED it. I’m a sucker for good BBQ, and this place is the real deal! My parents had visited previously and told me this was a MUST GO stop on our most recent trip to Branson. They weren’t kidding! The pulled pork was delicious, and I enjoyed the sides as well—perfect potato salad and corn casserole! Everything was delicious. The dining area is small, and they run out! I will definitely be going back and bringing others with me!
