Loved the place, it's full of history. Joan was fantastic, very knowledgeable, with a clear and contagious passion for history. We really liked the details and dedication to put the proper items together. Well maintained gardens and a equally interesting gift shop.

Had a lovely visit here. Was pleasantly surprised at the amount of local history I learned , while of course learning about the Peel family in the process. The tour guides were all very polite and knowledgeable and helped the tour be the best it could be. Plus, free admission is a perk. Whole tour took around 45 minutes.

We rented the Peel Museum for a "celebration of life" event. Kaylee and the rest of the staff were easy to work with and very responsive. From the initial phone call to the walk through to the day of the event, Kaylee was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rental price is fair, especially considering the beautiful grounds and convenient location. I definitely recommend this location for a worry-free event.

Amazing piece of history that has been restored to its glory. Our tour guide was great. She mentioned she had only been there for 8 weeks but you would not know that from her knowledge of the house and family. Gift shop was great and the lady that works it was so gracious and funny... #doctordust!!

Absolutely wonderful example of early 19th century home and lifestyle of the "Rich & Famous". My only grip is they don't allow you to view the Ice House. The tour guide had cute stories and personality. The house is absolutely beautiful and so glad Sam listened to his wife and didn't turn this home into a parking lot. I hope they are always able to save this older treasures and future legacy's are able to look back with fond memories.

Gorgeous gardens. The home is an amazing look into the past. Our tour guide gave us a few ghost stories along with the tour. It was a lot of fun and free. Definitely worth a visit.

Arrived on time for a scheduled tour, but we were shuttled to join an underway tour. After a couple rooms we were told we could go visit the rooms we'd missed. Not the best situation. However, the house and information were quite good, with interesting history.

Beautiful place with friendly staff and a rich history. I highly recommend the free guided tour, which was given to us by the lovely Joan. The house is spectacular, and the gift shop features a wide assortment of locally produced goods.

We had a vintage tea party at Peel Mansion and have heard nothing but extremely positive feedback from our guests. We had privacy, personal attendant, final walk through, and the exiting process was as seamless as the booking. I would definitely recommend this site for any party you may be needing an open, intimate garden space for.

We had a great time visiting this beautiful and fascinating old home! The docent was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The grounds are so pretty with David Austin roses and huge trees. The inside is full of period furniture and daily living vignettes. It’s a must see!
