Come for the bar - NOT the food. Cool spot to socialize, southern themed, can be a fun time. Food on the other hand is not great (at least in my experience). Country fried steak was… weird to put it nicely. Other than being tougher than old beef jerky, it had a pretty bizarre flavor. Best recommendation - come here to pound drinks and have fun, but grab dinner elsewhere first.

One word to describe this place: chaotic We went here around 8:30pm (FYI it was 21+ at that time) after dinner so it was an awkward in between of dinner with drinks and just drinks. We asked the hostess if it was open seating for just drinks and she said yes. Although when we sat down no one came up to us. We know we weren't the only ones because a couple not too long after us came in and left after 20 minutes of no one taking their order. I ended up having to order drinks at the bar and brought them back to the table. At around 9pm they started taking away tables and chairs to create the dance floor for the band. When a booth opened up away from the dance floor, we asked a waitress if we should move to the booth because they were taking away tables and chairs of finished guests and she delightfully said yes. When we sat at the booth, a different waitress came around and asked if we closed our tab at the bar (we did) and if we planned to order anything else. She got really rude with us and said, "Well this is how I make my money..." as if we weren't going to order more drinks and tip her for them. Long story short: if you come between 8-9:30pm 3 different people will probably tell you 3 different things if you have a question, but if you come after 9pm you have to pay cover so pick your poison. The only reason this is a 3-star review was because their cocktail list is really good and at $11 per drink, it's a decent serving size.

Stopped here on our way to the Red Sox game and we were not disappointed! I had the most delicious hamburger I've had in a long time and the fries were so fresh, crispy, and delicious. After the game was over, I was tempted to go back again to try something else because I was so impressed by my lunch. Great music and good atmosphere.

This was my 1st time here we went during the early afternoon on a friday it was empty with maybe two other tables occupied. We tried several dishes our fave was the hush puppies with spicy honey butter and our least favorite was the pimento cheese and biscuits. Shrimp in the jambalaya was very well seasoned wasn't a fan of the bbq glaze for the chicken and waffles scraped off and asked for regular syrup. Our server was friendly she was the only visible staff and was wearing several hats that day but she was very efficient.

Made reservations for a birthday dinner and was carded at the door. I’m under 21 have been to Loretta’s twice for brunch and dinner without this being an issue. We were told to bring a parent?? which was a little insulting also seeing that people in my party were over 21. To my knowledge it is a family friendly restaurant, not a bar. The bouncer had to ask the manager to make accommodations and we were sat outside. I’m thankful we got in, but it was overall disappointing. Nowhere on the website nor when I made reservations was mentioned that it was 21+ or that there was some event happening. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing, but the service was lacking. We were never served the sides that came with our meal and was never offered dessert before we were brought the check. Really felt like we were trying to be rushed out of the place. I later got an email that I had “missed” my reservations. The whole experience was pretty disappointing. I came to have a nice birthday dinner, not sneak some drinks.

Came in after Sox game. Place was super crowded inside, long wait to go inside. Line dancing. Great vibe. Younger crowd. Great guy (manager???) by the entrance had us seated very quickly outside and waited on within minutes. Order burgers medium and fries. Burger was cooked perfectly as was the fries. Definitely would recommend going for a fun time or dinner!

Going north to get southern style food is pretty counterintuitive- but effective it seems! This place sells true southern style chicken, ribs, cornbread and biscuits better than any I've ever eaten. The redneck Capri sun was delicious, and the buttermilk chicken and ribs were on point. This place is a gem. 2023 Update: Still as good as ever. This time had live music. We made it a point to come back here, all the way from NJ, before we headed back home. Even when "busier" we still had zero wait for a table. They could probably hire 1-2 more waitstaff, as 2-3 servers essentially run the entire restaurant, but otherwise perfect service and food.

This place is amazing! Aubra, took care of us from the moment we walked in. A group of 7 guys is a lot and her service was amazing. While there, a customer had stumbled in and was extremely mouthy to some of the staff. The manger, Megan, took control of the situation and removed him to protect their safety. It was quick and professional. Other than that, the vibes of the place is amazing. Great music, cold beers, and good company. I will be coming back here next time I’m in town. Thanks Aubra and Megan for making our last stop in town a great send off!

I love this place, I've been here twice. One time it was crazy busy, and yesterday there was barely anyone there around dinner time. The classic southern chicken did not disappoint. Huge portion, enough for 2 people. I also had this watermelon cocktail, it was really good. I am kinda picky about mixed drinks and I thought this was good. Can't wait to come back.

During the early evening, my wife and I stopped in to grab some drinks and food. Asked for a table of 2 which we were promptly seated. It took us approx 10 - 15 min to order a drink, to no fault of the waitress. The menu is on your phone, so it took us a few extra minutes to scroll and read. By the time we were able to get our drink, the person who sat us came over and inquired if we had ordered food and drinks, which, as she saw, we were almost done with our first drink. She let us know that there were reservations on these tables. We did notice she also advised other tables as well. Some were just leaving anyways, others were still occupying the tables. The place is nice. The atmosphere is cool. The waitress was nice. But had we been told that the tables were reserved from the get go, and not 30 minutes into our first drink, we would have not taken a table. Needless to say, we left without food, but we took advantage of an extra 15 min to have another drink. The drinks were good. Kudos.

Cool late night spot for food and live music. My favorite was the specialty butter and the corn bread. All the food was tasty. Full Review on Instagram: Junebugstastyadventures

I came on a Friday during dinner rush, which means I paid cover to enter as well. When I ordered I ordered a drink and meal at the same time, took almost an hour to get my meal, the wait staff ignored me the whole time. I ordered Chicken and waffles with maple BBQ syrup and whipped butter, the chicken breast is pounded out thin to allow them to cook it quickly and evenly, breading stuck to the chicken and didn't just flake off and the waffle arrived soft and fluffy. The BBQ maple syrup had a great flavor and honestly held the meal together because moisture was definitely needed as the chicken was desert dry. Decent bite, and not bad for bar food, but come during the day and the establishment is a full restaurant too so they shouldn't have over cooked the chicken and under crisped the waffle, the waffle was mushing up by my second bite. Looks pretty, but do not recommend the food, the drinks on the other hand, strong pour on a Cuba Libre, and the watermelon crawl tastes like a watermelon Starburst, definitely recommend if you like either of those. Live cover band on the weekends as well with varying success on their covers.

My girlfriends and I went to Loretta’s before a concert across the street at MGM music hall. I had the fried chicken sandwich DELICIOUS, the bartender that made my espresso martini did an amazing job. I highly recommend this country bar in Fenway they have line dancing on Tuesdays and Sundays. I found that very cool. I’ll definitely be back on one of those two days.

Great food and fast service. We were short on time to catch a concert across the street. The food was out with in 10 minutes and was delicious and reasonably priced. There was a great cover band performing while we were there and they were awesome.

Good service, well prepared foods! There was live music playing on Sunday around noon. The drinks were tasty, as well. The chicken and waffles was crispy and hot. The biscuit in the biscuit and gravy was so fluffy! We got the Bloody Mary and their blackberry cucumber mojito. Relaxed vibes would come back again.

We went here for a late dinner [8pm]; they checked out IDs at the door. Waitress was really friendly. The drinks were good and strong. The brisket onion dip was fantastic. The chicken in the chicken and waffles was a little dry, but the flavors were good. Restaurant itself was themed nice, the music was just a little too loud for me 🤷‍♀️

The food at this place is really great. Their mac and cheese dish is my favorite. The negative parts are that they never answer their phone for takeout orders (although they do them), their online-posted hours are incorrect, and some of the servers are kind of rude. If you want to go to the restaurant and order something for takeout when you're there, I'd say that's your best bet if you're interested!

I came here for dinner with my boyfriend. it was a cute little spot. it was definitely more like pub bar than a sit down restaurant. the server was just off her game that night. she was constantly walking around with her phone in her had not paying attention. we had ordered drink when we first sat and she came over not that long after asking if we wanted another round when we werent even half way though them. she brought food over to our table that wasn't ours and it took us about while to let her know because she was at the end of the bar on her phone. the food wasn't bad but it did leave much to be desired.the Mac and cheese was prob the best thing we had there. I did very much like that they had a live band.

Country line dancing on Tuesday nights is always a great time. Really enjoyed everyone I've interacted with here from the bartenders to the other people who come. Their drinks are pretty good and service is quick even when they're busy. Bathrooms can be a bit of a mess on a busy night, but I think that's true of most places. Definitely a fun place to dance and socialize!

Chicken and waffles had literally no flavor. Perhaps more seasoning of the chicken would improve the dish. My waffle was completely soggy. Eggs over-easy had raw egg white.. my favorite part of the dish was buttered toast :(

Brunch around 1 for a 4pm Red Sox game was perfect - giant portions and very reasonable prices. The blackberry cucumber mojito was a lot of blackberry flavor and very refreshing. Best to make a reservation in a game day beforehand as it gets very busy and long lines after the game

Place is very cool and nice to share with friend and family. I went for brunch. Food was great and delicious good check for kitchen. Some issues come with the service in table. We had to ask for everything bothering the waitress all the time for things that as suppose to be on table already. We wait 15 min for sugar, and 30 min for check asking g twice . In general was a great time. Besides that small issues.

The food was amazing and they're drinks are top notch! Definitely recommend and I'll be going back to try some more stuff. Too much to try at once. My stomach isn't big enough lol. They also had live musicians during dinner
