Not sure why I have never visited this art museum before. Such a great place to spend some time and rest in this crazy world we live in currently. Inside you will find some amazing artwork, much of it local in nature. Outside makes for a beautiful exploration which includes some spectacular ocean views. This museum proves, you don't have to be huge to be special or worth a visit.

I had no idea there was a proper art museum in Ogunquit so I was quite delighted to learn that this Gem was only a 2 minute drive away from Perkins Cove. Even though the artwork on the walls inside were great, my favorite part was the beautiful grounds that surround the museum. Very pleasant and scenic all around. Nice place to spend a hot summer afternoon cooling off and admiring some fine art.

Absolute gem of an art museum, featuring local artists and a beautiful garden/grounds. Bonus points for the amazing ocean view from the lobby, and for the walkout to see the other side of Perkins Cove!

Really lovely, small art museum. Fabulous coastal view from inside and from the sculpture gardens. Interesting permanent collection - the area has been an artist colony since early 1900s - plus donations from local collectors. Temporary exhibits were good, too.

I like visiting art museums so when I was in the area, I decided to check this one out. It's not all that large, but there were some intriguing art pieces inside the museum, but it's the sculpture garden that really caught my interest. I'd definitely recommend a stop in if you're nearby as the stroll through the garden to see the sculptures and since it's situated right by the ocean, well the view just might encourage the artist in you.

This is a real gem of a museum. I'm a great fan of Maine art. This has many treasures and a fascinating history and puts on wonderful Summer exhibits. Make it a point to visit yearly.

What an incredible museum! The employees here are so nice and the art in their collection is great. This might be a smaller museum but is a must visit for any art lover. (Also you can’t beat this location and view)

A bright spot on a gloomy day! Small but impressive, with art from both the past and current century. The docents were incredibly knowledgeable about both art and local history. The garden and view are wonderful.

A gem of an American art museum. A small but impressive collection of some fine paintings and the most beautiful location perched above the rocks and Atlantic Ocean. My mom took us there as kids and I can’t be in the area without stopping in to see what’s on display.

Very nice place for afternoon lunch, reception, or event. Even if you're not a huge art enthusiasts, the front and rear yard gardens make a stop here worthwhile. Perfect place for a an evening jazz fundraising soiree

This is truly a magical place inside and out. I was submerged in art, and it's history. The peaceful gardens were a renewal for the mind and soul. I will return often. Thank you OMAA.

Wonderful lil museum in Ogunquit showcasing some modern and contemporary art works in the 2d and 3d. Outdoor and indoor works along side a beautiful view of the ocean coast.

We really enjoyed our time at OMAA yesterday. The woman at the front gave a great intro to the museum and the exhibits that honor the 70th anniversary. We loved the Liam Lee exhibit - such a talented young artist who explores the effects of the pandemic in his colorful work. We also got to see a few great Kuhns. A perfect gallery - small but mighty and in an extraordinary location. We look forward to our next visit to OMAA.

Beautiful works of art. Nice mix of traditional and modern. Not too many kids come to this museum, but when they do, the staff treats them like royalty. The landscaping around the museum is a work of art itself. And as a bonus, the museum is set in a spectacular setting by the cove which used to be an artist colony.
