Great Trip around town. We were able to see and get to areas we didnโ€™t have time to walk or drive to on our day trip. Thanks for a nice ride.

*A Christmas Carol Trolley Tour* My sister and I are in our 20's and went with our parents this year. Its was the BEST time filled with lots of laughs and holiday cheer to get us in the Christmas spirit. Mark Scalia, who played Ebenezer Scrooge, lead the tour throughout Salem in an entertaining and theatrical fashion. 10/10 recommend for couples and families with older kids!

What a fun, unique, informative way to see Salem and save your feet for other adventures around town! I was shocked with the pricing, too.... in a VERY good way! I was expecting to pay double what I did! If you wanna get a glimpse at all the cool little spots in Salem 10/10, suggest the trolley and the shop too! Found some cute little gifts/shirts to bring home! The pictures are from the tour! They are kind enough to even pause for certain spots for a quick picture, too! The shirts from the Trolley gift shop!

Tip: Stay on for the full tour and hear the history before you use it as a hop-onoff bus. Our guide was fantastic! I like how Salley Trolley is set up... the driver and tour guides are not the same people. We received so many great recommendations for food and activities during our stay. Don't forget to tip! Even though the trolley does not require masks, some of the museums do require masks. Look into which ones require masks before you get off at a stop and get stuck for a bit. The House of the Seven Gables is currently on of those places.

LOVED the trolley tour!! Definitely recommend doing this tour first on your trip to Salem. You get to see where everything is located while learning about Salemโ€™s rich history. Our tour guide was awesome!

The history on the tour is amazing. We had Chris as a guide and really loved the places along the tour. Wish there was a longer stop at all the tour highlights as I wasn't able to get pictures since I was on the bad side of the trolley. This isn't something to do if you're tight on time like other people have mentioned. We asked the ticket lady about frequency and got a mumbled/unfriendly response. Once on the trolley, we didn't get off as we knew we wouldn't get back on. More trolleys running and friendlier customer service would be nice. Guess we got what we should have expected from a place where you get tickets from a card table on a corner.

What a fun thing to do as visitors from out of state. The guide was super friendly and gave excellent information regarding the stops we made. What a great way to tour the city. A great way to get to know the history of Salem. A must do when in Salem! The Trolley Depot was also the best place to shop and pick up souvenirs.

We had a great time with Mark! His knowledge was endless about Salem and so interesting!! His prevention kept everyone laughing and engaged while learning about the beautiful little city of Salem. He pointed out so many things youโ€™d never know or notice. Plus he was hilarious. You could tell how much he loves Salem. Highly recommend!

One of the drivers, white over-weight female with thin curly ash brown hair, driving bus 2201 license plate 13AAW was repeatedly honking at me pressuring me to pass a RED ARROW stop light coming down the Essex Bridge from Beverly into Salem. Still on the red ARROW on a bridge with incoming traffic on the opposite lane, she passed me with the Trolly and proceeded to attempt the ILLEGAL left turn inro Bridge St. This driver is a HAZARD and almost hit my top right corner as she was attempting to turn left. Just for the light to turn into a GREEN ARROW a second later. Salem Trolly Depot hires aggressive impatient people as drivers. This happened on June 30th, 2023 at 4:30pm. If you see any driver matching that description, just get off the trolly.

We took a day trip to Salem for my birthday and absolutely loved the trolley! Our tour guide, Jodi, and driver, Ramon, were hilarious together! We got to see different parts of Salem and learn fun facts you otherwise wouldn't know just from walking around. There were multiple Hocus Pocus filming locations that they pointed out as well as some other movies. They stopped for a moment at certain spots along the way for photo ops so don't worry about missing anything. It was also a good way to see all of the different attractions in Salem and where they were located. We got our tickets from The Trolley Depot which is just a short walk from where you get on. It was definitely the highlight of the trip and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The trolley tour is always fun. The tour guides always try and make things fun for all ages. The drivers are also amazing (picture Boston traffic but with massive crowds of foot traffic as well) the trolleys are well maintained and clean as well. If you're looking for something fun and spooky to do in the month of October look no further than Salem trolley Inc.

Today we were able to take the Salem Trolley tour. I'm horrible with names, but our diver and guide were fantastic. The tour was amazing. Unlike a walking tour we didn't have to...well...walk! We were able to see and learn about a wider range of Salem while sitting comfortably (which is a nice break after walking all day). On our guide and driver were very knowledgeable about the areas and select historical spots they highlighted. I would highly recommend this tour.

Loved the trolley tour! We purchased tickets in front of the visitor's center and rode two days in a row. We were able to see the other side of Salem (like where the oldest candy shop is!) which we otherwise would not have even realized existed. Tour guides were fantastic. I'm sure they get tired of the same speeches but you can't tell. They treated each tour we rode like it was their first. Bonus- Active duty military was free.

This is a must!! So much information about the city. Salem's history is so much more than just the witch trials. I highly recommend doing this tour!

Had an awesome night cemetery tour. Tons of information and great experience with the driver and tour guide. Donโ€™t second guess it, Just Book The Tour! It was amazing.

Great tour but I wish they had one extra trolley so that they could increase the frequency of pickups. We waited in line twice for the better part of a half an hour and werenโ€™t able to get on the trolley; itโ€™s kind of a bummer I wish I could book a certain time for the trolley. That is the only complaint other than that very cool experience.

When I say this was so much fun. Neil? O'Neil? And Ramon. So fun. Points out all the amazing place around and facts. While also making it personal and entertaining. Definitely a 100% recommendation. Trying to find where to buy the trolley ticket was a bit confusing. Definitely should update how and where exactly to buy!!

Wonderful way to see Salem and hit the highlights. A nice crash course in the history (especially outside of the witch trials). Definitely stay for the whole tour. Helped us know what we wanted to see/do.

If you're in Salem for a short time (day trip like me), I would really recommend the trolley. It can be used as a hop-on-hop-off around Salem or, like me, you can stay on for the whole journey and learn all about the history of the town. Our tour guide was really great, had a funny sense of humour and interacted so well with everyone onboard. The seats on the trolley were wooden bench style. We booked the trolley as part of a package which included the return ferry from Boston, and the trolley picks up from the harbour/ferry drop-off point in Salem which is really handy. I would really recommend this to all visitors of Salem. There's even a Salem Trolley souvenir shop.

Great tour. Tim was my guide and Betty was my driver: they were both great. I learned new things and enjoyed seeing the locations of places I had read about/learned in school. Loved that it was a hop on and off tour, so I could adventure some of the locations then get back to the main square. I would highly recommend.

He were lucky to have Betty the driver and Chris the guide, they were great! Encountered traffic and tight spots and Betty navigated like a pro. Chris was sweet and informative. Excellent! Thank you ladies!

The tour was awesome! The guide Mark was great. He joked with us, told great stores. There was a group of 16 of us, they were able to accommodate all of us. We all enjoyed it! And happy birthday to Farrah!

Very nice 1hour+ ride around Salem. Guide was very knowledgeable and driver was great too. It was especially nice to sit back and enjoy the sights after all the walking we had done. Worth the price.

Informative. Entertaining. Excellent way to see the hot spots, gain some insight and catalogue what you want to devote more time to while visiting. The guides were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Highly recommended. Would do it again if we were ever back in the area. Keep up the great work :)

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ My hubby and I went on the sunset cruise for date night. The whole experience was amazing from checking in all the way to our good byes. Evan our captain was very inviting and kind. Spencer our bartender/grill master, was also inviting, pleasant to talk to, and not only made great drinks- but grille...

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ What a great tour! Lemaris was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Salem and a dynamic story teller. She presented a really nice mix of history as well as ghostly encounters. A โ€œmust-doโ€ for any Salem trip.
