One of the most beautiful palaces in Poland. The sheer size and magnificence of this palace is truly mind boggling. There's still a fair bit of restoration work to take place but when it's finished, this will be a jewel in Poland's crown. An absolute must see!

"Marianne of Orange"'s Palace is a beautiful reconstructed palace, with huge and nice garden. The middle age stile is coexisting with the modern organization in steps, of the garden. You will enjoy this place.

Really cool palace to go visit, it is just extremely sad to see that this has been so damaged by people. A week prior to going here I was walking down the streets of Pompeii, not even a volcano caused as much damage as people did to this palace! They are actively working on restoring the castle so it will be fun to come back here in a few years to see what else is open

This 19th century palace is absolutely stunning. It's bitter sweet history is not finished yet... I highly recommend visiting this pearl of Lower Silesia in Poland. This magnificent place is still under revitalisation after years of negligence but it is worth every minute you spend there...

Very nice place, unfortunately tickets service is very poor, you cannot buy them in advance, they are not replying emails, you just go there feeling lucky to find a ticket, which are normally ready sold. Sorry guys but if you can improve the system, specially for tourists which we are coming from far away, like in my case. Thanks

The place seems to be a true wonder but unfortunately currently the front entrance is undergoing a huge renovation which makes it impossible to admire its beauty fully. The ticket for a visit gets you a guided group tour that takes around 90 minutes (palace only, not including the mausoleum) - for me it was a bit too long, especially when visiting the place with little kids. Also be noted that there is not really an option to leave earlier or to use a toilet during the tour. When crowded, the waiting time for a tour might be more than 30 minutes.

On the day of visiting (Mar 2023) there is still a lot of work to be done in terms of restoration. The palace, while having a beautiful exterior, lacks an interior almost completely. Furthermore, it's impossible to enter and guide yourself as a guided tour is mandatory. There are many placards and things to read and watch but the tour is so quick that it's pretty much impossible to read them all. Another negative is that the tour isn't offered in English despite there being an English section to the website, and this may catch some tourists off guard. On a positive note, the castle is beautiful with lots of greenery both inside and out. The whole atmosphere feels authentic and old with a lot of the brick showing and drafts throughout the whole castle. On a sunny day, the rooftop offers a breathtaking view of the nearby mountains and parts of the city. Plus the forest around the palace is great for a long walk.

Horrible experience. You need to take a guided tour that is only in polish. There are no other options available - no audio guide, next to no signs with explanations in any other language . Still you are charged the same as polish visitors but getting next to nothing in return. Don't go if you don't speak polish

A gem! - so far from its former glory but still a great place to visit! - hope to see it again in another 10-20 years, hoping to see more results of the ongoing renovation / restoration works!

Unfortunately the tour is only in the Polish language, but it's nice to visit this castle that is still being renovated.

Really great old castle in my vicinity, has a tour every hour for 25 zlotych, I just wanted to walk around the grounds, which are huge, and take photos of exterior of castle, free parking, smack bar, free toilet, worth the drive from wroclaw, many other sights in the area, cheers

The palace in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki is an architectural pearl of Lower Silesia and the best example of neo-Gothic architecture. It was built in the first half of the 19th century on the initiative of Princess Marianna of Orange (1810 - 1883) on the basis of a preliminary design by architect Karl Schinkel, and after his death the plans were implemented by his student - the young architect Ferdinand Martius. Sad it was so devastated but now is being rebuilt. Really interesting visit.

visiting this palace during the construction works is a little misfortune, the place will possibly be worth seeing and more safe in future
