I stayed here for 4 weeks and I think it’s a good hotel, a solid 4 star hotel in any other country. For Luanda/Angola it’s considered one of the best hotels. The hype it receives and the prices charged could make you believe this will be similar to a top 5* hotel in any other capital city. What you will find is good customer service, average/poor food, poor gym facilities, good spa and pool. To give an example, the room pass they gave with me was v crumpled and worn. Once day they pasta in hotel’s Italian restaurant was extremely salty and I was refused a refund for the dish. It’s really in these details that the hotel disappoints.

Excellent place to stay in Angola. The food prices are however ridiculous! I know Luanda is expensive but this place goes beyond expensive!

It’s an excellent location with quality facilities, with small but well appointed rooms. The problem is that the service is abysmal and as a result I won’t be coming back. They seem to provide 5* service only to a select group of guests/visitors and for everyone else they cannot be bothered to even treat respectfully. It’s great that there are now more options for hotels in Luanda and I will be staying at the Intercontinental going forward when I come back to Luanda for business travel.

10 out of 5! This is one of the best hotels I stayed in (in the whole world!) So quiet (if u r looking for place where u can have proper rest, I recommend this place again and again), so clean, so nice! I loved staying here for couple of days and I hope I will come to this country and this hotel again.

It's a good hotel. Positives: The food is great. Security system is good. Gym is awesome Maintenance is good. Room service is superb. Negative: The house keeping can be improved. Sometimes we have to inform them to come and make our room. Understanding of English language is also an issue sometimes.

Had a very delicious dinner had Epic Sana Luanda Origami restaurant roof top , downside i asked fo a Lobster confit but apparently lobster was not available….

The hotel is so clean. Hoteliers are professional, good break fast, natural juice. Generally, splendid. The area for improvement is the price for meals in both Italiano and Portuguese Restaurants. The price is not welcoming. Is a bit higher. Otherwise, the hotel is recommendable

Very good hotel, varied and delicious food in the diverse restaurants located in. The staff is welcoming and always ready to assist. Its also close to Marginal that is the most beautiful place in Africa for walking outdoor and exercise. I really enjoyed my stay there. Only thing to improve is the iron in the room that was in my case dirty and has damaged my clothes. But if you opt for the laundry service they do an impeccable job.

Very nice place, very nice gym, but one sprite and one Fanta can will cost you one kidney… take your own food and beverage if you are going there. My advice…

The facility is good but the service is terrible. I visited the restaurant, Origami, on Sunday. I asked the Manager about Chefe´s Choice (14,000 AKZ) from the sea and ordered it to him. At the end, the bill was 18,500 AKZ and he explained the available fish dish on Sunday is only Weekend Special (18,500 AKZ). I pointed out Chefe's Choice and there was no such an explanation when I ordered. I said the restaurant should have clearly explained it before people order. And surprisingly, the manager said "it is very clear except for you." I cannot believe how rude he is. I will never recommend the hotel if you enjoy good services.

It's quite impossible to not falling in love with this hotel. Starting from the interiors and the design, all the spaces are huge, luminous and smart looking. Rooms are quite huge, furnished comfortable and silent. I really appreciated the spirits and cocktails bar selection, very good Signature Martini. But the very highlights of this hotel are the restaurants and the Spa & fitness centre. I'm from Italy and usually I don't have Italian food abroad, but the quality of the food left me literally speechless. Both seafood and meat dishes were simply delicious, I really enjoyed every single bite of Lobster Risotto and the fragrancy of the homemade bread and focaccia made me feel like I was back in Italy. I also appreciate the smart tablet menu and the selection of wines, actually the cellar is quite impressive. Breakfast as well is very well presented, great omelettes and delicious Pastel de Nata. Fitness centre is very well furnished with equipment to do almost all weights and cardio exercises. I decided as well to indulge with a Signature Massage, with hot stones and essential oils, I think it was even better of most of massages I've tried in my life, even in Thailand or Bali. The Spa concept and design itself is absolutely stunning, quite at the same level of the main thermal location in Europe. Last but not least, It's not so common to find such a welcoming, attentive and prompt staff around the world. I just hope to operate the flight soon again to enjoy this fantastic hotel. Strongly recommend.

I came for a business trip to Luanda. I was positively surprised by the staff of the hotel. Mrs. Katja welcomed us and went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests. Having special dietary requirements, I thought my stay would be difficult, but again I was surprised, how helpful the staff is. Overall I can say, that the customer service I experienced in this hotel is 5 star. Thank you very much for your efforts and for making my stay in Luanda so enjoyable!

My third long stay at this hotel. Besides that the spa and the main restaurant are closed due to Covid restrictions , I am glad to be here and this hotel is my second home for the last year. Great support from management, very friendly and professional personnel.
