Wonderful setting and atmosphere. Sounds of the waves while having a good meal is always a winner. On the beach, tranquil colours and inviting ambience. Service is good, it may get rowdy with a heavy influx of people at times. Often there may be tables bunched so consider this if not your fancy and opt for the tables closer, bigger and more adapt/next to the beach. Food is very good, nice selections with good presentations. Certainly a place you will want to give a go. Parking might be tricky especially when busy (safety outside a factor too) once in its cocooned and peaceful. PS: try the interesting desserts too 🇦🇴🥘

Beautiful and clean place. Quite expensive for what you get but is probably worth it because of the ambiance. I only had a tosti and a coffee nothing to complain about but not amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. Toilets look amazing. Could have been a little tidier but was reasonably clean for a restaurant on the beach.

Great service and really good views. One of the best places I can recommend and makes you feel like you're in a completely different country with the views and quality of everything around you. Great attention to details for the decoration. Excellent service and delicious food. Despite the busy time, the numerous staff are always present and food is delivered quickly and without errors. The cons : parking is always a challenge, despite the assistance of the restaurant’s security staff to assist patrons with parking.

The service was very nice and the waiters very attentive. The grilled octopus was simply the best I have ever had. The atmosphere was pleasant and the music wasn’t too loud. Beautiful view too! Will come back for sure.

Today was the second time I went to Cafe Del Mar Luanda. It was a company event with pre-selected Xmas food menu and the service was absolutely disappointing! The waiter did not serve the Entradas, after demanded and explained for several times, the Entradas came differently from the Xmas menu, from 3 choices reduced to 2 choices and it was almost felt like we had to beg for it. Apart from that, it was total 14 of us and the waiters was not attentive, the drinks order went all over place, pre-selected orders that was given prior to this evening was all messed up! Asked for tea, the waiter came with selection of teabags and after I chose, that was it, he never came back to me with hot water! ;-) Funny thing was, when I waved at one of the waiter, he even appeared drunk and totally ignored and walked passed in front of me!!! My unforgettable 2021 Xmas dinner at Cafe Del Mar Luanda, which I will never go back again indeed!

Café del Mar is a nice gathering place for locals and tourists alike. It offers its own unique ambiance with outdoor seating areas overlooking the sea, comfortable lounge areas, and a great food and drinks! Be patient, place is often full, you d need maybe to wait a little, and start by a delicious cocktail !

We visited this place many times and everytime we enjoyed the visit. We always have different dishes and drinks and always enjoyed them.

If you are looking for an amazing looking and tasting meal, look no further. The service was great, and the ocean breeze and waves make all but the loudest of surrounding tables fade to a low hum. The desserts were scrumptious, and the wine list was one of the larger ones I saw in Luanda. Going back is a certainty if I return to Angola.

But however they come up with stupid restrictions and rules like not allowed to join the table can’t walk shirtless even though literally at the beach, can’t put drinks on the table without table mat!! List goes on. . There are numerous staff monitoring you left and right always and they are just waiting there to correct you if we are doing something wrong. It was such a good vibe restaurant spoiled by rules of the management and staff behaviour. Thus instead of having lunch from there we run and went to Miami Beach club just next door where we were free to do whatever we want and more relaxed environment. If you want customers coming same like Miami Beach club then you need to relax your rules my friend and ask your staff to stop bothering the guest every 5 minutes and keep strolling around us.
