The location of hotel is perfect, we’ve just took free bicycles for day tours around the city center for explored Royal Palace, Temples and Foods. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They explained in details what to see, where to eat and how to get there. If you are looking for day tour by Van to waterfalls or Sunset Cruise in the evening, they can suggest for you. Breakfast was great and variety of food and Restaurant also great for lunch. Welcome drink with snack was so lovely decoration and good taste. Everything is just perfect. Nothing more that I could ask for. We definitely would come back again to this hotel.

The front office team of Noi & Kamphan really went out of their way to make sure my stay here is memorable and comfortable. Whilst the perks of the Accor membership are great, Kamphan offered to move me to a suite after the first night, explaining to me that they didn’t have a spare suite available on my first night of stay (which wasn’t an issue at all because the Garden room was comfortable as it was)😊 There is a lad in F&B Thavee who is also enthusiastically ensuring that I enjoy my complimentary cocktail each night that I was there All in all, I am super impressed with their service oriented mindset and I was glad I made the decision to spend a bit more to experience the Banyan Tree/ Angsana/ Accor offerings

We didn’t stay here but took advantage of their lovely pool and happy hour one afternoon. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are really nice, there is also an outside shower and a large downstairs toilet you can change in too. The pool access 100’000 KIP pp and you could use it all day. The happy hour ran from 4-6pm and included 2for1 on all cocktails (each started at roughly 75’000 KIP). Was a welcome break from the hostel life, at least for an afternoon, gave it 4 starts only as it was a bit expensive.

Great respite hotel while in Luang Prabang. Away from the horde of tourist yet very close to major attractions, it's a short walk south from the roundabout where the nightmarket is located, bicycles use, ev scooter rental, clean lobby excellent onsite spa, bar and restaurant. The pool was wonderful refreshing, bar service great and happy hour half off cocktails between 4pm-6pm.

The hotel staff was truly exceptional! From the warm welcome at reception, where they even tied a string bracelet for good luck, to the delightful driver offering a welcome drink upon pickup, our experience was fantastic. The spacious and clean rooms were complemented by thoughtful touches, such as the evening curtain closing and citronella candle lighting by the maids. The breakfast service was outstanding, with a great selection of food and a chef who skillfully prepared omelettes and eggs. The breakfast staff, treating us like family, knew our names and preferences, always wearing a smile despite their long hours. Special thanks to Pheangvahn, a cheerful and attentive waitress, Bounmee, the positive coffee maestro, Khamhoung, the skilled chef with a lovely smile, and Channally, a welcoming receptionist. A BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE at Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We loved it and look forward to returning on our next visit to Laos!

Our room was simple but clean. It was overlooking the main road but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The highlight of this hotel was definitely the service, be it the front desk, spa and even the restaurant. Everyone was just so accommodating and was constantly checking that you were settled in comfortably, or if the food was good. The breakfast spread was sufficient. The pool was clean. I'm guessing it was low season so we mostly had the hotel to ourselves. The location was perfect - a 5 minute walk away from the night Market where you can get food. Bicycles are provided if you want to go further into town.

Just returned from an amazing time in Luang Prabang and mostly because of this hotel's attentive staff and expertise in massage. The space is manicured and beautiful and so close to the night market and other attractions. Will visit again and tell others for sure

Everything was really excellent. The only improvement needed is to replace the Lipton tea in the room with something better or local.

Hotel is located in city center and used to be a former residence of Prince Souvannaphouma. Staffs were so friendly and helpful. Try to order the leisurely breakfast to your room at the private balcony. Strongly recommended

First time in this hotel in LP and it will not be the last fpr sure. Everything was perfect. The staff was very kind, polite, respectful, we had occasion to have a tchat with a few of them and they were all lovely people. The service they provide is on top from the moment you arrive until your last minute, they always pay attention to you and your needs without being intrusive. The room was always clean, it was a spacious room and was well isolated (couldn't hear any noise from the street or neighbours). The location was perfect for us, walking distance to the center and always some tuktuks around. The swimming pool is great: always clean, the towels on the sunbeds are changed often and the bar is right next to it. The breakfast is also very tasty with some nice food variations. Thank you again, we will be happy to see you again !

We had an amazing stay at the hotel! The location is perfect! Very close to the main area yet inside the resort you feel a sense of peace and tranquillity! The staff were excellent! They do their best to make you feel at home! The breakfast was good with a local noodle option and egg station etc! The staff try their best to accommodate any food requests! The spa is fantastic! We felt so relaxed after the massages! We tried their set lao dinner experience in the gardens which was fantastic the presentation was great and the food was full of flavour! A must-do experience at the hotel!

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than enough and delicious, especially the coffee. I was so glad there was a pool to use at the end of the day. I am so happy we stayed here!

Can't imagine I asked twice in the morning to make up the room as I was told house keeping starts at 8 am but when I came back later, room not cleaned yet . There was turndown service on the first day but not the second day. I don't bother to ask because beside the manager, no one else seems to understand basic English. 2 days I had breakfast no one asked I wanted coffee. But when a white came, the staff warmly asked if she wanted coffee or tea. I guess she tot I'm Laotian. Honestly almost all the staff here lack proper training. They don't even look at you let alone smile when cross path . So overall for this category of hotel and at the price they are charging, I think service is poor. An example of mismatch between a seemingly nice hotel against its expected level of service. Breakfast very basic not unlike budget hotel except better quality and there is no bidet in the bathroom. WiFi not always working or perhaps, always not working ... On the plus side, the hotel is nice, air con is cold, water is strong, toiletries is of high quality and smells good, bed is comfortable

We had an absolutely great stay at the Madison Souvannaphoum hotel. Like their sister property in the Maldives, the rooms were nicely appointed, breakfast was amazing with many fresh options, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The grounds and gardens were a delight to walk in and enjoy. The breakfast room overlooks the pool and is very tranquil. We also used their free bikes to get around the town and saw many beautiful Wats.

In Luang Prabang for a week, I wanted unique accomodation close to downtown and this was the spot. Slightly more expensive than standard accomodation but where else can you stay in the former price of Laos’ residence! Beautifully converted and the most amazing, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to help!

Far too expensive comparatively. 100 usd when you can get a beautiful room in a resort here for 30. It's a nice place but so are many others

Hotel is great! Beautiful rooms and great service. Everyone is so helpful! We decided to play cards on the front lawn, they helped arranging furniture, brought water and drinks, and peanuts. They brought out an air conditioner out to blow air on us!

The hotel is fine. Good service and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the rooms are very small for the price. We asked why: they count the grand balcony into the floor space. That is a bit of a shame. We got however a free massage for a non working boiler.

I cannot be more greatful. Hotel is lovely, quiet and peaceful but has all you need. You can relax and enjoy your meals by the pool, book a massage, go for a walk to the night market just 2 minutes away. As centric as it can be but away from the noises is the perfect hideaway from busy cities and stressful life. Staff was wonderfully attentive and caring.
