How do you rate five star such a place? It was good to learn about the history that I've found difficult to understand or stomach. It was enlightening walking the grounds, reading quotes from people who experienced such inhuman atrocities. I couldn't help but reflect with current experiences in today's world. The visit was and is still thought-provoking. It is a good thing this history has not been hidden. Perhaps that will help us shape our world differently when we can understand what human beings are capable of.

A stark reminder of what humans can do to one another. I recommend a visit by everyone even just to shed some perspective on modern day problems. Very informative exhibits explain exactly what happened there.

(Translated by Google) I was born and raised in the area. This place still causes anxiety and fear. Today, most of the building has been demolished, but today you can see traces of the densely placed barracks. There used to be almost a city here, with wooden buildings from the beginning of the road to the distant horizon ... Sometimes it happened there are more prisoners than the inhabitants of Lublin today. THERE WAS NOT ALMOST WORKING THERE. People were tortured and starved during meaningless and sophisticated physical activities. TODAY THE SAME IS HAPPENING IN CHINA AND THE WORLD IS SILENT !!! (Original) urodziłem się i wychowywałem w okolicy. Miejsce to budzi do dziś niepokoj i trwoge. Ludzie byli zakatowywani i zagladzani podczas bezsensownych i wyrafinowanych zajęć fizycznych. DZIS TO SAMO DZIEJE SIE W CHINACH A SWIAT MILCZY !!!

(Translated by Google) Each successive generation approaches the horrors of that time as a passing show that is forgotten. As a man who remembers witnesses (my late Grandfather was a prisoner of the Lublin Castle during the Second World War), this story still arouses my disgust, disgust, and a feeling of helplessness and weakness. For, behold, man has prepared such a fate for man. We must not forget about this place. A rating of 5 for the handling and clarity of the exposure, the disadvantages for the lack of more literal means in the exposure - sometimes reports, even the best "wrapped", best digitally realized pale in comparison to one photo or a silent movie. The area and the watchtowers make a depressing impression. A man should come here to first feel history in its most extremely brutal version. Second, to understand how important life is and how little you need to be happy - warmth, food, and clothing are very little. Thirdly - remember, for the sake of the victims and our younger generations from the era of selfica sausage and megabytes - that we can pass through these gates freely. Someone once did not have such comfort. A place to see, to understand one's own life, for thoughts, imaginations and memories. And I don't really know if any stars are a kind of bandage, scar, or compensation for him. I know it's worth being here. At least once in a while. Obszar i wieże strażnicze robią przygnębiające wrażenie. Człowiek powinien tu przyjeżdżać by po pierwsze, poczuć historię w jej najbardziej skrajnie brutalnej odsłonie.

Its a cool experience to visit the concentration camp. I recommend to visit it with a guide, because if not you only read the signs like in history books. Entrance is for free which is really nice and map is not necessary. I suggest to plan it for one hour and a half or two hours!

This is a eye watering place to visit due to the horrendous reasons behind it being there. We entered through the main gate and into the reception, we were then shown on a map whats what and how far it it’s to walk round it , I believe it was 4.6km . Hard to imagine just how hard it must have been but the whole place gives you somewhat of a view into the conditions . The stories you read on the wall again make your heart miss a beat , very very sad place to visit but a must if history and a real look into it is on your to do list.

A sad place but a fundamental visit to understand more about this dark moment of our history. The museum is very well preserved and organized. The entrance is free but I would recommend to buy something from the bookstore, to contribute with the conservation. If possible, go on a weekday by morning, it opens 9am and the visit will be not crowded, so you can explore everything in your pace.

A moving memorial to the atrocities of the Nazi era. It is out of the city centre so either get a taxi or have a long walk to it. Easy to find and buying tickets is cheap and easy. The site is large with many interesting buildings and information. Be prepared for some moving moments as some exhibits contain some upsetting images & info, but this is an excellent tribute to those who unfortunately lost their lives at the evils of the Nazi machine. Well worth a visit.

You understand that you will make every effort to prevent repetition. I think that it is useful for everyone to visit and feel it. Anything in the worldview can change. Verdiente 5 Sterne. Dankeschön

Very moving place to visit. Nevertheless the place is well looked after and clean, in the customer centre, reading materials can be purchased in many languages, there's also loads of parking which is very cheap. Everything is displayed where it need to be and sometimes in multiple languages. I've managed to attach myself to a tour, and the guide explained everything in detail, took us about 3hrs. The middle museum holds artefacts found on the grounds, as well as letters, documents, furniture, equipment, and statues made by prisoners. The remembererance monument is one of the biggest I've seen and really makes an impact. At the end crematorium, human ashes pile and executions trenches can also be visited. Definitely worth a visit so that one human can know what another is capable of...

All the museums and exhibitions were available in English also so it was a positive point. Although very sad, this place taught me a lot about those concentration camps. It almost takes 4 hours to visit the whole museum and try to visit it in a rather sunny day! It gets cold and windy in winter days.
