Empik
is
a
store
I
remember
fondly
ever
since
i
first
moved
back
to
Poland.
As
a
child
this
specific
location
was
almost
like
a
candy
shop,
the
walls
lined
with
various
books
of
all
kinds
of
genres,
from
self
help,
to
recipes
and
at
the
time
my
favorite:
fantasy
books.
I
could
spend
hours
with
my
sister
browsing
and
comparing
books.
Nowadays
im
much
less
inclined
to
read,
however
the
store
still
offers
a
wide
collection
of
audiobooks
and
musical
albums
to
fill
the
silence
as
i
work.
As
for
my
work?
I
spend
my
days
drawing,
painting
and
sculpting.
While
Empik
is
generally
considered
a
book
store
they
carry
a
wide
array
of
art
supplies
and
stationary
in
different
price
ranges.
Today
I
have
elected
to
buy
some
of
these
items
for
my
ever
growing
collection.
All
the
items
are
well
organized
and
easy
to
access,
and
I
soon
found
myself
in
front
of
the
self
checkout.
What
happened
next
prompted
me
to
write
this
review.
While
scanning
my
products
I
noticed
another
customer
asking
about
a
book
which
belonged
to
a
larger
series,
I
began
wondering
myself
when
one
of
the
workers
there
swiftly
and
politely
answered
the
original
question.
I
then
realized
there
was
a
hiccup
with
the
scanning
process
on
my
end
and
moved
to
the
main
line
to
have
it
scanned
there.
I
then
noticed
the
worker
having
some
grief
with
a
different
customer,
who
seemed
agitated
for
some
reason,
all
the
while
the
cashier
remained
very
polite
and
professional.
Finally
I
was
able
to
buy
my
products,
the
process
was
swift
and
very
comfortable,
I
never
had
to
wait
in
line
for
too
long
and
all
the
while
the
cashier
was
extremely
polite
and
professional.
I
don't
know
whether
or
not
the
workers
i
met
today
are
going
to
see
this
but
if
they
do
I
hope
they
have
a
wonderful
day
and
know
they
are
doing
amazing
in
keeping
the
store
up
and
running.
