This park is amazing due to its great location and beautiful sceneries inside. The park is mostly famous for being a Botanical garden where you will find variety of flowers and plants. Moreover, we did a film shoot as one of our school projects where we found best locations such as Gazebos and other iconic places as can be seen in the photos. You must visit it if you like to enjoy spending time in park and for walk.

Great botanical garden, with a mix of plants and sculptures. The location also has multiple craft sites for learning. There is a gift shop onsite, along with a kids play area. Most paths are asphalt to make access easy for everyone.

Perfect area to wander around and discovery the beauty of nature. Nice walking trails and interesting sculptures hidden all throughout. Plenty of parking and lots of signage available for navigation. Picture perfect and great for picnics. Park for kids, little ponds with fish and other wild life, bathrooms near and clean. Can't wait to go back again and see more flowers in bloom.

What an awesome place to visit. Our photographer chose this place as a setting for my son's senior pictures. Needless to say, we stayed after the picture to enjoy the grounds. It's such a hidden gem in Toledo. I've lived in the surrounding area for almost 51 years, and never thought to come here until it was suggested to us. We will definitely be back to enjoy as much of the little hidden sights that we can. The grounds are so well kept and awe-inspiring!

The grounds are well maintained and easily accessible. There are two parking areas, one with public restrooms. The park is free to visit and open until dark daily. Lots of shaded areas and benches to take in the scenery. Every detail is meticulously planned out and beautiful! Lots of flowers in bloom as well as stunning greenery.

I absolutely love this place. Go for the flowers, the trees and the connection to nature.. or go for the artist village, the sculptures and unique gardens and watch a community work together to keep this space lovely year round. Go for the playground and show the kids chipmunks and fishes and listen for frogs and birds. Really, it's a magical piece of heaven.

Lovely FREE park with fun flower arrangements, water features, and spaces to relax. Not huge but a great place to spend an easy afternoon. NOTE- the colorful Day-lilies are best in mid to late July!

The secret forest is a wonderful place for the kids big and old. This is a beautiful place to just get out in nature. Have a graduation party, senior pictures or wedding photos. We had a wonderful day and will be coming back.

How is this gem free?!? We are delighted by the playground, clean bathrooms, manicured gardens with fantastic signage, design of pathways to meander through, and plentiful picnic tables. We only explored a small portion and look forward to going again.

It's Beautiful! Went there for a nice walk and took some photos of my fiancees Webkinz while there. It isn't the largest park ever but it's beautiful for sure. Can't imagine when everything blooms this summer it's going to be a heaven on earth!

We visited for the Toledo Botanical Garden for the Jazz series. It was $10.00 admission per adult and free for kids. The Botanical Gardens themselves are free. During the concert the main entrance is closed for handicap accessibility. During normal operation the botanical gardens main entrance is the hub of activity. They have art classes, shops, the bathroom, the meeting hall, etc. The back entrance has a much larger parking lot. This botanical gardens is huge and beautiful. I think, the time before, we spent 2-3 hours walking through. I have recommended this garden to anyone who will hear about it.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Toledo Botanical Garden, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. As a nature enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for serene and picturesque locations, and this garden truly stands out as a gem. Upon entering the garden, I was immediately struck by the peaceful ambiance and the meticulously maintained landscapes. The garden covers a vast area, featuring a diverse range of flora and fauna that captivates the senses. From vibrant flower beds to sprawling green lawns, every corner of this botanical paradise is a feast for the eyes. One of the highlights of my visit was the thematic gardens. Each one has its own unique character, offering a delightful exploration of different plant species and garden designs. The Rose Garden, with its fragrant blooms and elegant arrangement, was a particular favorite of mine. The Japanese Garden, with its tranquil pond and meticulously pruned bonsai trees, transported me to a serene world of Zen. The botanical garden also offers a multitude of recreational activities. Walking along the meandering paths, I found myself immersed in the beauty of nature, taking in the sights and sounds of birds chirping and water trickling. There are also picnic areas, perfect for families and friends to gather and enjoy a relaxing day amidst nature's embrace. The staff at Toledo Botanical Garden deserves commendation for their dedication and knowledge. They were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing valuable insights about the various plant species and the garden's history. Their passion for horticulture was evident, and it added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. In addition to its visual splendor, the garden hosts various events and exhibitions throughout the year. From seasonal flower shows to art displays, there is always something new and exciting to discover. It's an excellent place for individuals of all ages to learn, explore, and connect with nature. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Toledo Botanical Garden to anyone seeking solace in nature's embrace. Whether you are a seasoned horticulturist or simply someone looking for a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this garden will not disappoint. Immerse yourself in its beauty, breathe in the fresh air, and let the tranquility wash over you. You'll leave with a renewed appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.

This is a really nice garden. I'd recommed visitting it when the flowers are in bloom, and it's warmer, that'll really bring out its beauty. There's also a cool park for kids where they can climb and play. I think the park could be expanded on and more thing could be added, but I saw some building being done there so it seems they'll be adding something new soon.

I live close to the park and should get over there more. It is a gem in our community. Beautiful gardens, varied art for enjoyment or purchase, and lots of food trucks. Will visit more often.

🌼🌸True Beauty in our own backyard! If you have not had the opportunity to visit Toledoβ€˜s Botanical Gardens, definitely make that a must on your list before the end of the season. I love to come, just to get away for an hour or so from the hustle and bustle of your daily life. There are spots to sit by near the water, and also a playground for the children. There are trails to walk, tons of breathtaking flowers, and places to relax and truly reconnect with nature. No ✈️ ticket needed πŸ₯°

Beautiful setup. Easy to get to. Free to public. Very well explained and so many open-to-public aspects at the Artist Village! Also, the Toledo Rose Competition was happening this weekend and it was gorgeous with amazing people who loved what they did and explained it! Next year, 2023 competition will be third week of June! Will definitely come again! Also, talk about a large collection of Hostas!

The Toledo Botanical Garden is a whimsical place that is easy to get lost at. The gardens and grounds are curated/cared for very meticulously. There are many studios that produce different types of art, including blown and stained glass. You can even buy something to take with you or as a gift in their small shop. This is a great location for photography of all kinds. The gardens also support persons with disabilities through art. ❀️

Collection of variety of plants is poor. But overall landscaping, sculptures, waterbody are good. Family friendly place, ideal for picnic and photoshoot. Fall color is also vibrant here. To me, its more like a beautiful park, less like a botanical garden.

Nice well maintained park with several different themed gardens within, including a small rose garden. Plenty of benches to rest and enjoy the views, along with places to picnic. Good backdrops to take engagement photos, and an activity area for small children to play.

This is such a beautiful place to visit locally for a walk or just to enjoy nature and some local wildlife. I have enjoyed some lovely relaxation on the hills here, and deer have grazed around me. The trails are shorter, usually a mile max, so it's a quick and nice walk. The views of the gardens are beautiful. Some of the gardens are open, some are grand and have a European feel, and others have a wetland feel with little bridges and lots of trees. For the small amount of land the Botanical Gardens use, they have found such a wide variety of garden atmospheres. It really is a pleasure here. Lastly, I like the small sunflower garden on the Bancroft entrance.

Very beautiful place! I just wish if there were more shaded passages so that we could still enjoy the garden in warm days. Everything about it is pretty and looks well-maintained. The restrooms are clean as well.

I love the different beautiful spots here and how a small walk can transform your photos so much just with some different scenery.

Stumbled on this botanical gardens while lost in toledo. It was the most beautiful place! I never expected that to be in the middle of a city. It was so peaceful. There was a lot to look at, with many flowers, trees, bushes, and benches to relax on. Also, I saw these beautiful mallards just hanging out. I will definitely visit again.

Even in the middle of dismal winter weather, it's still a beautiful walk. The trees are still lovely in their winter ways, and of course the evergreens. Also the art and sculptures interspersed throughout the grounds are wonderful, plus just the beauty of the grounds themselves. That's not to mention the educational aspect of all the identification signs around the place teaching you names of trees and flowers. As an added bonus, there is a really awesome looking kids play place near the main picnic area and restrooms. Great idea to keep the kids busy while Mom and Dad take a break. The only tiny negative thing I can say is that there are signs everywhere saying you have to stay on the paths, or the short mown grass - but there are some trees with ID placards that are so far from the mown grass that you can't get close enough to read the ID. What's the point?

It is so beautiful here. The vibe is nice. There are no pets allowed, which is different for a park. It is such a lovely park, can't say it enough.

This is a nice garden in the Toledo area. It's a bit of a drive from downtown, but reasonable. Admission is free, and there are bathrooms on the premises. The garden has an artists' village where various groups create and/or sell their artwork. As of mid-April, a lot of plants have yet to bloom, but the area would be pretty in the summer.

A must-see if you’re in Toledo! It has a variety of different plants, trails, art, sculptures, etc. It’s free to the public, so you do not need to pay any admission to gain entry. It also offers a playground for children & other activities. If you’ve never been, make the trip here! You will truly be amazed by all the sights to see.

I've been coming to Toledo Botanical Garden for years. It's absolutely my favorite place to go. They have wonderful paths to explore nature all throughout their gardens. A perfect place to take photos of the family. There is a treehouse playground the kids loved playing on.
