Grape Leaf Express

Restaurant Mediterranean restaurant

😠 Family ordered 4 fish meals. We expected fish, instead we got overcooked and burnt fish sticks... This was not off of a children's menu. We also ordered lemon rice on the side. I have never seen lemon rice soup before with parts of smashed particles in it. First time ordering here, last time orderin... People often mention good, time, great, falafel, salad, order, rice, chicken, gyro, hummus,

Ordered delivery and wasn't that impressed. It's hard to compare this to some of the other truly great Lebanese options in this area. The chicken gyro meat was really dry and smothered in tatziki with some old looking lettuce. Fries were soggy and gross. I've had better food from here in the past but this time it was not good.

My girlfriend and I found this place when visiting Ohio. We are from Dearborn, Michigan and needed a restaurant that offer Halal food. The Grape Leaf Express is a perfect place to enjoy a good delicious Lebanese food. alongside a great décor and ambiance. The place is very clean,The service we receive from the host Sara and the Chef is very attentive. We definitely will be coming back.

Stopped to get some lunch for the drive home. Ordered falafel, my bf has had it many times but this was my first. Waited until we were on the toll road to start eating and I was disappointed 😞 the pita bread was delicious and the toppings were tasty, but the falafel was slightly burnt. I'll give it another try next time I'm In the area.

I ordered the Spinach pie dinner. Unfortunately the rice in the dish was so undercooked it was nearly inedible. The flavor, to be fair, was quite good. Not sure if they were just having an off night but I will probably not chance it again.

All around 5 stars.. the food was AMAZING! The portions were HUGE for what you paid for. The staff was so nice and so friendly.. Even BETTER we didn't wait long at all for our meals, which was great! And it put out an all-around nice, calming, relaxing vibes. which is just what was need. Spent about $18 for the dinner plates.. soup/salad & main course with fries/rice. The fries were awesome 👍

Always so friendly and welcoming. The food speaks for itself, so yummy and the portions are great. We’ve been eating here for years and have no complaints. Definitely a family favorite!

First time here and the chicken fattoush was super tasty! The lemon rice soup was perfectly lemony and the gyro sauce was delicious! Will definitely visit again 😋

I was really excited to try this restaurant seeing the high ratings, but I was disappointed with few things: 1.) The server don't server you, you have to go get your food when they yell your number. 2.) We have to purchase everything including water. 3.) The food was average, but the Lentil soup was very bad, it tasted like Lime juice. Overall this is not my expectation going in a restaurant. The server was nice enough to give me the water bottle for free. Only the Chicken wings with BBQ sauce was good.

Excellent food. Amazing service. I had a surgical procedure and my son came to pick up food and forgot an entire bag as he thought they only said the one bag was ours. Didn’t realize till a couple minutes after they closed that stuff was missing. They allowed us to come back and get the rest even though they were closed!! It was appreciated more than they know and was very kind of them. Will be back for sure!!

We have gotten the falafel meal with hummus and pita bread and also chicken shwarma. All of it was amazing, the falafel is nice and crunchy on the outside and tastes so good, and they give you so much hummus and pita bread and pack your plates. It's well worth your money and they now have regular customers

Amazing restaurant! Five stars is not enough. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. There is a wide variety and it is delivered to the table or to the pick up area very quickly. I have been many times and will go again because it never disappoints.

Food is great. Kinda slow getting food if you are dining in. They get tons of door dash orders

Not even 5 mins ago I almost got hit because the catering driver doesn't know how to look in both directions. It was near Joe's auto. I would advise them teaching the people driving to learn to actually drive or they could have a lawsuit. And when I called to speak to someone all they lady said was order number.

I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. My favorites are meat grape leaves and salads but everything else is good to.

Great food at reasonable prices. Quality is great and quantity is more than enough for the prices. Service has always been fantastic.

Food was excellent. Service not so excellent. Ice dispenser was empty and told two workers about it and in the 45 minutes we spent dinning they never filled it. Ordered a meal and when all of our food was brought out one of the mains was missing. We thought they brought us sides and salads and the main was coming out after. We filled up on appetizers and after 20 minutes asked about the main and they had missed it so we got it too go. Besides the bad experience with no ice and a forgotten main the food was really good.

Order from them often for business meetings or my own personal lunch. Food is consistently good quality, and portions. You get to the bottom of the Chicken Greek salad, and there is still chicken left. Great food, great value! Good for people with food allergies, they don't miss special orders.

For the same price you can get a gyro anywhere else that's twice the size for the same price maybe even less. Grapeleafs aren't anything special but they're not terrible. Service is decent. They will charge you more if you pay with card. They won't have exact change and will short you. Salads are all lettuce and for the price it's not even worth it

Tabouli had huge stems all throughout and was very dry. Twice now the hummus had way too much lemon and is practically inedible and the falafel doesn't come with tahini? The only good thing was the fattoush, gave them a second chance but will never be ordering again.

Ordered the falafel plate, it was a depressing spread. Very little veggies, the lettuce was browning and there were long slimy pickle slices which felt off. Falafel wasn’t terrible. Sesame seeds must have been burnt because the tahini was metallic tasting. The hummus was also extremely tart/acidic. This was our first time and will most likely be our last.

The food was very good and well prepared. Fatoosh salad was packed and could have used a few tomatoes but was good. Had the lunch portion of arayis and that as well was really good. Will order again.

We’ve ordered from here on Monday. We normally enjoy our food from here and in fact order it to bring to most of our families gatherings. That’s how much we love their food. Unfortunately, this recent order left a bad taste in our mouth; literally and figuratively. We love their Greek salad! Unfortunately, it tasted horrible. We reached out to the location regarding the poor tasting cheese (not the normal Cheese we’re accustomed too) quality and so on. The young lady assured us we have it wrong and they normally use this cheese and ingredients. Sorry, but no. We order this enough to know and this was not a quality salad. She said the owner would call use back but it’s been three days now and nothing. $9.00 in the trash. The grape leafs were really soggy as well but I don’t really want to pour more gasoline on the fire. I wish they would’ve offered us a new salad or something. Maybe one day but until then this review stands and our support will walk.

We like to get takeout. The food is good and a reasonable price. We LOVE the garlic sauce. On the salads I prefer the dressing of other Mediterranean restaurants better. The Hummus is good. My husband likes the gyro meat. Staff are friendly and the order is usually correct. Some of the pictures onthe online menu are not what the words say so read the description.

Every time we visit Toledo, we have lunch at here. The Fattoush salad with gyro meat is fabulous. The hummus is creamy and smooth. The tabbouleh is minty and lemony. The falafel patties are crisp and light. This is our favorite Mediterranean restaurant.

We got the beef gyro and the chicken & hummus dish. Absolutely fantastic flavor and the meat was incredibly tender. They forgot part of our order (thankfully we checked the bag before leaving), but they made it right without question.

By far the best gyros in Toledo, fries were cooked perfectly golden brown. The rice and chicken tawook skewers were fantastic. Topped of with some outstanding baklava! Nice job! Very kind and courteous service.
