I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff of Dolphin Cove. The hospitality and welcoming displayed by Pedro and Amanda was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel if your looking for a peaceful home away from home. I give them a 10 out of 10

We had a great stay here! The hotel is in a beautiful quiet location and each is essentially a full apartment with a patio to go out and relax steps from a lovely little canal. You can watch storms roll through, go to the clubhouse for a wonderful full-service meal, listen to the birdsong from your patio or bedroom, and relax. The location is just minutes by car to the shopping center, close to the beach, and just all around perfect!

Ive been to Freeport MANY times.... I don't know how I never found this place, but I don't want to stay anywhere else now. And the food in the restaurant located on site, oh my. Best steak I ever had.

Dolphin Cove is an excellent place to stay with a view of swaying palm trees and your own private barbecue on your patio. Recommend

I love this restaurant, the service and the food. Wait time isn’t bad either. I visited last Sunday (Jan 8th, 2023) with relatives for brunch. I don’t usually eat steak but I decided to have some that day. I prefer my steak well done and juicy, most restaurants don’t know how to do this but Dolphin Cove did. It was also tender and seasoned to perfection. The plantains just as I love them, not overripe, soggy, and oily. I like my food spicy so I tried the Buffalo cracked conch. The conch melted in my mouth. I also had the salmon and mashed potatoes, and the tempura broccoli, on another visit. (August 2022) It was magnificent.

Stayed at Dolphin Cove for a week at the end of February. Our room was cozy and clean with a functional kitchen and a lovely balcony overlooking the marina. We dined at the restaurant twice and had two terrific meals. I highly recommend the fish tacos at brunch. Everyone at the property was wonderful - professional, friendly, and helpful. We'll be returning here without a doubt.

Superb ambiance. Owned by Sherry and her husband. Very comfortable seating. You can have cocktails on lovely couches outside on the deck overlooking the canal. You can get there by boat and moor it and have dinner. This restaurant is very popular so you must make reservations. Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas

Our reservation was at 7:00pm. We ordered a round of drinks and then our meals right after. The food never came until after 8:30pm by this time everyone was starving. 3 of the meals were burnt, one of them had to be sent back. Two of the meals got mixed up at the table and one took another 5 or so minutes even after the others had come out. My food was good I had the catch of the day but 3 out of 7 of us were unhappy with the food. We asked to speak to the manager about the amount of time it took for the food to come and the quality of the food. He offered no help at all, he actually made it worse. He had a very poor attitude and lacked customer service skills. He said he would give us a free drink next time we came back but at this point no one at the table was ever coming back. I'm just here on vacation but 5 of the 7 people live here half the year and they go for dinners almost every other night so it's unfortunate. Our service was good, the food was hit or miss and the management is a joke. For what you are paying I would go definitely go somewhere else. I've been out for dinner with my friends here half a dozen times and they have never complained once so you know it was a bad experience.

Dolphin Cove is a home away from home comprising large and well appointed apartments overlooking a canal. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cutlery. The restaurant on site is excellent but expensive. They have a newly renovated gym. The only downside is that you need to rent a car to get around since there is no place to get breakfast or lunch within walking distance.

Went a few months ago for my birthday. Waited over an hour for brunch. Ordered Eggs Benedict and the eggs were hard cooked. Never in my life have I had an eggs benedict without the lovely yolk oozing out. Everybody who ordered eggs benedict had overcooked eggs. What a disappointment after waiting an hour for that. Didn't send it back because I was starving and somebody else was paying. Won't be back.

Dolphin Cove was a great little resort. Staff was the friendliest and very helpful. Only complaint I would have was the bed was too hard. But we didn't say anything about it as we enjoyed the resort.

The place itself is nice but not very helpful or informative. Waaaay overpriced for what you get( as far as help) to visitors not from the island. The restaurant was ridiculously expensive, we were never informed of where the swimming pool was aside from anything else. No phones in the rooms, can't call the office, a taxi, nothing! Unfortunately my cell phone doesn't work here.So we had no way to communicate with anyone. The air conditioning wasn't very cold, the ice and water on refridgerator didn't work. The man in office said he would check it while we were gone on the ONE excursion we were able to make and then our chartered ride didn't show up. My opinion, too expensive and treated poorly too? I won't be returning.
