This conch salad was exactly what I needed on this warm afternoon. It was fresh and done just right. These guys know how to do it!!

Tasty Lunch! The conch and fritters were right tasty!

We went searching for lunch away from the resort that we went to for the day, off the cruise ship. A woman from a souvenir store told us to go to this place. After walking around for a bit we finally found it. The prices were pretty good. But they need to offer something like fries or a salad with the fried fish and shrimp. I asked what type of fish it was I asked if it was grouper. He said grouper & snapper. I ordered the fried fish & shrimp and it came with conch fritters $15. I know conch is a big deal in the Bahamas but i'm not into it so for me those went to waste. We were so thirsty and asked for water and the water wasn't cold enough. The food took quite a while but that's because they make it to order. I was a little disappointed with the fish it was this huge piece of meaty fish and it still had the skin on. I didn't care for that. The shrimp were good but everything was just too oily. Daddy Brown was making conch salad when we placed our order. I asked who do we pay because I figured since he was squeezing limes someone else would take our cash. But nope, he proceeded to take our cash & give us the change. I found that to be unsanitary. That kind of grossed me out.

Conch salad and the fritters were amazing! Heads up… CASH ONLY! I’m definitely coming back next time I visit!

when i tell you this was the best conch i have had in a long time. my family is Bahamian, so i know good conch. Daddy Brown was very friendly. the breading was just awesome. i mean it wasn't think and it just was so flavorful. and that sauce, OMG. my girlfriend had to conch salad and that was good. conch in every bite. and that lime juice he squeezes on top set it off. i can't wait to come back to visit.

Owner was presumptuous and rude. He made reference to me not smiling. I don’t know what he was expecting but he was rude in his approach and statements toward me and the person I was with. I was just listening to what he was saying about the conch. He or the two ladies that were not smiling either so he had a lot of nerves. I don’t know if it was his sense of humor but it was off colored. Even if I ate conch, I wouldn’t have purchased from him. He need to just sale his foods and leave comedy alone because that is not his area of expertise.

Everything here is amazing! Literally cannot go wrong with any option. Got the big girl special that included everything and it was all very good!

Our last night on the island had to include Daddy Brown. The cracked lobster, cracked Conch 😋 👌. Daddy Brown and Son did not disappoint! Highly recommend stopping by for the "Biggest crawdads" (local that recommended called them that). Cash only!

We went fishing and brought our catch to Daddy browns and they cooked it for us and it tasted amazing! Best fish I ever had!! Definitely recommend and the conch fritters and conch salad was amazing!

Hey, let me be honest. This man knows how to make good old fashioned delicious conch salad!! And it's the cheapest in town, only $10. Im definitely going back there this weekend and try his other dishes. All should support him, he's a humble man with a great personality. I give him a 👍🏾 👍🏾

Daddy Brown's is as good as it gets. Once I land at the airport I pick up the rental car then drive straight to his shack. Before I check in, unpack, I am enjoying his amazing conch salad. Lunch or dinner try the Big Girl Special. Lobster, conch and shrimp for $25.

They'll definitely get your attention. We asked where to get local food and were given Daddy Brown's babe a couple of times. They don't serve truly local food, but it was good. We got the special of lobster tail, jumbo shrimp, conch and conch fritters. Everything was fried. I was expecting peas and rice, conch, Mac and cheese, etc when I asked for local food. Daddy Brown and crew were cool, funny and provided good conversation. I would go back

Absolutely LOVED his conch salad,best we had yet!had to go back for more, and got conch fritters as well...those were fabulous too!

The freshest conch I have ever had to the point where they were cutting the conch right out back on the harbor. Coming from Florida, all of our conch is imported from the Bahamas so it was great having fresh conch for once. The conch salad is very good and would recommend for Bahamian cuisine.
