Just opened! Apparently there was a pub there before 1600, and now there is again. Lovely cosy pub with a fire, and dog friendly. They are opening the upstairs soon too for live music. We’ll be back 👍

Fabulous little pub, well-tended fire, good chat, great beer and some benches outside for the summer. A Ludlow essential.

Great pub with great atmosphere, cosy seats with a nice fire place. Highly recommend it if you are looking for nostalgic vibe.

An almost perfect pub. Well kept ales and ciders, cheese and ham rolls available on the bar. Plenty of lively, mostly bloky chat. A roaring log burner in the lower bar. No distractions or children.

Great beer and old fashioned chat pub. Doesn’t serve food (except crisps & nuts etc). A great addition to the Ludlow real ale pub crawl and my new local.

A new pub in town on Old Street, refreshingly simple. Just beer, (well kept) largers and a few spirits. No food. They have had some interesting beers from around the country but lately seem to have just the local ones! (Hoping they bring back the interesting ones) Fire place in one room makes a cosy atmosphere, the bar room gets nicely packed and jolly. Quieter chill out upstairs where they sometimes have live music.

A wonderful pub, great selection of beers & spirits. Staff are always friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Lovely old style furniture, nice attention to detail. Roger, the owner has put a lot of thought & care into this pub. Highly recommended
