If you are interested in built heritage and religious places then you should find time to visit the SDM temple in Jinja. It is located in quite neighborhood just a minute from the city center. It is the biggest temple in Jinja

It's a Hindu temple having temples of Lord Ram, Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, Lord Khatu Shyamji, Goddess Durga. It has a quite big open space for parking and small functions takes place on every festival. It is very good and quite place to meditate and spend good time close to nature.

Nice and quiet place, I found it meanwhile I was walking around Jinja for at least 3 hours under the burning sun so was very helpful find this place and take a rest meanwhile some people introduce me into this exotic Indian Temple.

This is huge and number 1 hindu temple in Jinja. Hindu community of Jinja organises various programmes on many hindu festivals. Nice place to visit.
