We have been here twice with the whole family. We love this place. It is such a quaint, quiet, and relaxing place. The food is excellent. The service is great. That atmosphere is perfect. Our kids love it, but the place is definitely not built with kids in mind. Would recommend especially for a getaway without kids. Perfect for relaxing for a few days

You need some peace and quiet place by the Nile ? This is your spot..food is finger licking and the Nile roars past the Lodge to give you a good sleep .The staff will make you wish you stayed longer.

Nice place , the down side is if you are new to the area, it might be difficult to locate it, the management should put up a more visible billboard.

We loved our stay at the Kipling Lodge, our last stop in Uganda. The domain is clean and well-kept. The rooms have beautiful views on the Nile, and the staff was very kind from moment we arrived to moment we left. The best part of our stay was the food, which was BY FAR, the best food we had during our stay in Uganda. Delicious fusion cuisine, we couldn't get enough of it ! Kipling Lodge supports local farmers to grow crops in an ethical and sustainable way. Important work being done there. Alexandre and his team are doing a terrific job, and we would recommend anyone to stay there for a short or long stay ! Thank you for putting a perfect ending to our holidays.

Overall nice, comfortable and accommodating of requests. Felt the 'royal cottage' lacked air circulation... Small windows and no fan. Bed was a bit hard. But it was clean and the water pressure very acceptable. Food was of very good standard. Beer was cold but not the soft drinks and ice was in short supply. Would recommend it none the less.

nice cozy place on the Nile. a easy 30 mins drive from Jinja. Room rates are from $180-240 FB for 2 people. We had gone for a day trip to have Lunch which you have to book in advance. a three course lunch costs $30 which is prepared fresh & is delicious 😋. They have a small swimming pool too.

Beautiful jungle nest next to the Nile ! Best food we ate in Uganda and lovely staff! Don't hesitate to go for a few days to relax after a safari and do the best rafting in the world (probably) 😀

What an incredible place... Lost in the woods, facing the Nile, the lodges are perfectly nice with all you can need provided. Food is also great. The team, Alexandre, Hadrien and Appolline are really welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this place, located at only 20mn from the heart of Jinja town.

It's a very good place to visit with your friends and family. I never stayed there but was there for a day visit. It's a very calm and beautiful place, close to nature. Food and breakfast are available only on prior bookings. Never had food there so do not know much about it. But after checking the menu had very limited items. It had a kids menu as well.

It is an amazing place. I love a lot my room in front of the Nile River. The people of the staff are so kind, and the the food it is so testing, delicious. Also you can made a trip in the river Nile in a traditional boat...They have one menu delicious!

Incredibly great place to spend a night or two. While the road there is a little rough, the lodge is perfect. The cottages are well built, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. They have a clean and warm feeling to them. The main social space / dinning room is open air, inviting, and with an upstairs that allows you to relax with an even better view of the nile. A swimming pool and 2 varieties of european beer complete the set. Priced around $100 per person per night if you're drinking.

The Kipling Lodge is fantastic. We have done several day trips, and one stay. The service is always fantastic, the food is always spectacular, and the pace is gorgeous. It is a bit expensive, so we have never spent the night with the kids. However, it is a great place for a special day trip with the whole family, and a perfect getaway for the wife and me. We highly recommend it.
