This place serves delicious Indian and Chinese food and is located close to the Source of the Nile. We stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed our time here. We ordered Schezwan Fried Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice, Naan and Paneer Masala and everything tasted good. The wait staff are very courteous, friendly and attentive. They also have clean toilets. There are limited parking slots out front.

The place is good and loved the ambience.. Service was little bit slow but taste of the food was amazing.. So many different varieties in the veg, non veg food and drinks.. Even when I asked for Jain food they managed the food in fantastic way..

Food was as good as the reviews had said. We were not disappointed at all. Portions good, food was tasty and the pricing very fair. Only tiny glitch: Yes it is good to have waiters easily available but you almost feel like they are over bearing and watching your every bite! They shouldn't be too many on the floor!! Otherwise I would recommend Yellow Chilly to anyone for a good meal!

As a pure vegetarian Indian I am really happy to have this restaurant near my hotel. One great thing to note about this restaurant is we will find all cuisines of India like owner is Gujarati, Manager is Tamil, Chefs are from Uttarakhand, Andra, Nepal. So in short you will get authentic India taste. Please try fruits cake, masala buttermilk, Daal tadka, Daal makhni, Bhindi Masala. As an interior designer, food enthusiast I must say this place is quite underrated! We live in a digital world where pictures are everything and yellow chilly’s interior quite nails that bit. The food is equally amazing, I had the lamb sizzler meal with a side of mojito.Mmmm mouth watering experience. And there is value for money, the food they serve is quite a lot and enjoyable. However their services were quite slow but other than that everything else is a 10/10 experience. I can’t wait to go back here and this time hoping to tap on their breakfast menu.

A one stop place for authentic Indian and Chinese cuisine. I tried Gobi Manchurian dry just to test, it was just awesome, a big hug to the chef, this is the best I've ever eaten in Ug. All other dishes are sumptuous. Try it out you wudnt regret. This is the one and only restaurant you will find in Jinja town or the whole of Busoga region where you can enjoy sweet and savory Indian and Chinese cuisine.

The food is absolutely great! Service was a bit slow, but food came out promptly. Reasonably priced for a party of 3 at $45 including drinks. Decor is simple, and restaurant is spotless and clean. There's a kids play area, glassed off to contain the noise. For traveller's, the restaurant is attached to The Orchid Grand hotel.

Sunday Roast Chicken. Dissatisfied with this plate. Chicken was not really seasoned and felt dry. The French fries were too hard to eat with a fork. The vegetables were well done. The pepper sauce was tasty. The Yellow Chilly didn't have any ice cubes because it got finished. This large restaurant doesn't have any ice cube maker.

They are expert when it comes to food. The best place to be when in Jinja. The cool music, the begging service that is born to please the customers. Always, there is space and a heart to experience the world in The Yellow Chilly.

Elegant and nice place with great decor and great customer service m, assorted Indian cuisine, seafood and lots of drinks. Clean ambiance, kids play area, great waitresses. The down side is that they don’t take American Express cards for payment apart from visa so for any American visiting should either have visa or cash.

I was on an official tour to Jinja city in Uganda for 1 week and I used to stay in a hotel next to The Yellow Chilly Restaurant. I used to go to Yellow Chilly for Breakfast and Dinner. I enjoyed a lot of Indian recipes here, which were cooked by Indian chefs. Their recipes were tasty and worthy. I enjoyed the time with their staff as well who were very polite and friendly, especially Mr. Manager (Anurag) whose hospitality was fantastic, his nature was extremely humble and calm. He helped a lot to select the menu items as well. The best part of the restaurant was the morning Buffet which contained a variety of foods which makes a perfect and balanced diet of a health conscious folks. I will really encourage you to visit this restaurant and enjoy the dishes. Look at the pictures as well.

The best restaurant in Jinja. No doubt about it. Yummy and delicious food served from morning 7:30am till night 9:30pm. We are vegetarians and had some of the most amazing vegetarian dishes. Though we stay in Kampala, I can happily say that this kind of food and hospitality is not found in Kampala. Taste their cakes, they are good too.

The place is nice good ambiance but the service is really so bad we went for the breakfast that took them almost 40mins to make though it was nice but as u waiting you have like 7 waiters and waitresses just staring at you the whole time. That was my biggest problem u have people staring at you throughout the whole time u are there.

Jinja isn’t a stranger to Indian food options. In the past few years we have had more choices which is fabulous. My family has had Indian food in many countries including India. We love trying new dishes and learning regional cuisine. If that resonates with you than Yellow Chilly Restaurant is your new favorite. The manager, Gopi, is passionate about the food and loves to help you find something new to try. I have had truly surprising dishes that had me falling more in love with this flavorful food. I absolutely crave masala dosa now for breakfast. If you can, swing by and ask Gopi what you should try next. You won’t regret it. Oh and tell him I said “hi”.

I loved the ambiance of the place , service was good and the food was super yummy (I give it a 9/10) thou it took so long , approximately an hour or more of waiting for the food .

The staffs are friendly, environment seem to be clean, naan, coconut rice n chicken chili we ate were good. Possibly the chilli could have been better with less thick sauce. Tje restaurant is relatively pricey compared to other Indian restaurants in the area.

It's a new place, so it's clean and spacious. It also has space for children. The menu was diverse, but it was hard to understand what it was like because there was no explanation for the menu was. If you need an explanation, ask the staff and they will kindly tell you. I ordered Yang zhou fried rice with spicy taste, it was okay because I ate spicy food well, but all my friends were so hot that it was hard to eat. Mexican pizzas were generally said to be delicious, while Hong Kong noodles and garlic noodles tasted the same.

On arrival we were welcomed by Joseph our waiter who explained everything, serviced us well, brought the food in good time and the washrooms were clean , so was the hotel.

We are so happy with the food and hospitality of the restaurant staff. Right from the in charge to the attending staff, all were so good. They even have a hotel for accommodation, called The Orchid Grand. Would say a 3 star hotel at a 2 star pricing. Do check it out. Highly recommended.

Everything was world class. We had manchow and corn soups, peshawari and paneer kofta. Every single dish was beautiful and delicious. The juice was excellent and the beer was cold!
