Just fine. They should place the divider between the tables in a proper way as people couldn't move properly with that in-between. Moreover, the washrooms and toilets are on the second floor, not a great arrangement. Food was tasty as usual.

I've always forgotten to write a review. But I have to write one for ROD! 🥳 There is no doubt that ROD is the best! 🤠He is always being kind and patient, which I am really grateful for. It is worth mentioning that he is really popular on our Chinese social media. A McDonald's star! Hahahahaha 😸

Had breakfast, was very fresh but only reason for 3 stars was cleanliness of this place. Could definable work on keeping place clean for such a busy place they can definitely afford shift cleaners. Toilets were upstairs and not accessible at this moment.

Waited at least 7 minutes for food that was all clearly long time ago prepared and almost cold. Although, compared with other McDonalds in town, the place was clean and calm, Thanks to security and guy, who immediately cleans the table after someone leaves. Enough staff really pays off this time.

A good McDonald's. The receipts did not print from ordering machines, which was slightly frustrating for all customers. There was plenty of space upstairs. The food was good, and the service wasn't too bad.

This the typical mcd. But the only thing that makes this place special is the guy named ROD, A TRUE GENTLEMAN, very polite, very humble... I have never seen such kind soul in any of such services.. he is aged.. but the energy and spontaneity he showed was beyond none..we just told him that we are tourists here, he voluntarily took pen and started writing the must visit places around. thanks to ROD , giving THIS ENTIRE TRIP a sweet memory.

I love mc Donald's full stop. This one was packed but still pleasant and the food was good.

I know it was super busy but I asked for extra pickles and I got no pickles at all! 🥺 I did get the extra mustard though. Yous guys do a great job working city centre maccies tho! Hard one innit!

While the temperature was excellent, the taste was poor, perhaps needing more milk. The consistency was okay, and the price was very moderate. 4/10

Excellent customer service not long waiting for food but does get really busy at times more so than most McDonald's Ive been to so much so people crowd the machines and dont seem to want to move and stand in the waiting area so your left queing for ever as you think the machines are being used when it's just people blocking them and not moving so you can order your meal

Really needs to seriously think about seating and space needs for the vulnerable/disabled to take priority with seating. Needs to stop removing items from the menu, keep all restaurants working fully, Allow upgrades to all items within menu, cater for the customer not the inner workings of management.

McFlurry’s here are just a dump of ice cream with a sprinkle of dried smarties cut in halves on top. Mix it yourself.

I am absolutely livid and disgusted with the abysmal service I received from McDonald's today. I placed an order through your delivery service, and not only did it arrive late, but it was also completely wrong. This is an unacceptable level of incompetence, and I am seething with anger as I write this review. First and foremost, I ordered a 5 selects, mayo chicken, fillet 'o' fish, wrap of the day and a cheese burger, and what did I receive instead? A pitiful, sad excuse for a big tasty, medium chips medium coke and a sloppy cheese burger. How on earth can anyone mix up such simple orders? It's like your employees aren't even paying attention to the customer's requests. Furthermore, the fries that came with this miserable excuse for a meal were cold and soggy. It's as if they had been sitting around for hours before being carelessly thrown into the bag. If I wanted cold, soggy fries, I would have microwaved the ones I have at home! But the icing on the cake, or should I say the "cherry" on top, was the fact that I had requested extra sauces in my bag, and guess what? Not a single sauce in sight! Are you trying to ruin my day, McDonald's? This is not the first time I've had issues with McDonald's, but it is certainly the last straw. Your blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling, and I will make it my mission to spread the word about your consistently terrible service. You have lost a loyal customer today, and I will never, ever order from McDonald's again. I demand an explanation for this incompetence and a refund for the horrendous excuse for a meal I received. If I could give zero stars, I would. McDonald's, you should be ashamed of yourselves for the way you treat your customers.

Bouncer on the door 4pm young black lad being refused entry because he went outside, paid for a big Mac with everything on, got to my flat to find just dry burgers, how hard is it to put a burger in a box

This would have been a full 5 star for fast food. However, the shop front is not spacious enough, which irritates customers, making them rude. The rest of the building is a fine size, just not the ordering space.

Was your standard McDonald's, food was fine. Can't really comment on service because you order through machines. And it was quiet The toilets however are up two flights of stairs so hardly accessible

Staff were very friendly and plentiful. The food was fine though it looked like someone took a bite out of the English muffin haha Also, no mayo on the menu…is that normal 😅

Excellent service - best McDonald's ever. Our suitcases were collected and stored for us (we were tourists). Nice table service. An elderly gentleman who worked there was so kind. He told us all the great tourists attractions & how to get there. Helped us with directions to the train station - excellent fellow! Also a young black guy welcomed us, took our suitcases - I love Edinburgh and will be back!

This was a solid restaurant to have breakfast at, showing the menu by the entrance and having two seated floors! The app listed many items as unavailable because the menu had not been updated on the system from the previous day, however one worker was nice in putting my employee discount through the till. Service was quite slow but I really enjoyed my Bacon and Egg McMuffin with Mini Potato Waffles and the Scottish McD's exclusive Irn Bru, situated at a clean table upstairs where the sign guides people to! I was told there was no ketchup initially until a lady fetched some and cleanliness had been maintained while the windows gave nice views of the city, yet the order screen was not working.

Open 6am and hot coffee ready in a minute. We just are for the Xmas weekend and is to early to check in our AirB&B. Thankfully McDonald’s is here for us! Prompt and the original flavour that we All know and love.❤️ There is only 10 seats unfortunately but 6 self checkout machine.

This McDonald's was clean and the self service machines had no line both days I went for breakfast around 7. Service was quick with plenty of seating. All the food was properly cooked. Nothing stood out about the experience good or bad.

This McDonald's very handy for both bus station and train station as within walking distance of them both . A bit cramped downstairs in the ordering area at busy times but there is plenty of seating available upstairs where the toilets are located aswel . Staff seamed great as ordered from app from the table didn't have much interaction. Clean seating area even after some kids chucking food everywhere was cleaned up right away so big plus .

Nice views and friendly staff. Lots of space downstairs and upstairs always busy though. Can order downstairs and upstairs either on app or kiosk.

We had a long day travelling, from Somerset to Edinburgh airport, and we were hungry! Mac's was the least choice to eat but other places we wanted to go, were shut. Hubby didn't enjoy his burger, and chips weren't that hot! Mine was ok. I had a veggie burger and chips. The toilet was disgusting, puddles on the floor and it smelled of wee! It wasn't from the tap, as it's not leaking? I can only assume "someone" who was drunk and missed the toilet bowl, or "someone" just couldn't be bothered to pee in the bowl! There were two security guards inside, and they say it's trouble there? That explains it all 🤨?

It's a fast food, so I won't rate it. But the place is far from being clean. And recycling is s joke, it's pure greenwashing. I separated my paper from plastic and was heading to the appropriate bins, when staff member took my tray and placed everything in general waste bin. Such a disappointing view. Would be great to see actual change in their recycling policy.

The food was ok, the place however looked like a battle had taken place. No till rolls in any of the ordering machines, the toilets were an absolute disgrace to be honest. The men's anyway, smell like stale urine, the walls look like there had been stuff on the walls for months, the floor sticky, the hand soap dispenser holding on for dear life, one of the mirrors was missing. All in all one of the worst I've seen

For a small order/collection area you should really try to set up a better system. It was a free for all and nobody seemed to know if they were waiting behind people who are still to order or waiting to ask a question. You missed a bottle of water off my order and when I went back to ask for it there were three staff speaking to one customer at the tills. I had to ask someone behind the counter who was sorting another order. The order screen I used had no receipt printer and the section it gets held in was wide open. Also it felt dirty. I get its a busy place and its got many floors to maintain, but it was grimey and greasy. We had to clean the table ourselves before we used it. Just not a great experience in my opinion. Food was what you'd expect.

Possibly one of the most profitable McDonalds per square foot in the UK? It was really busy when we called in for post-drinks food on a Saturday, and the TVs telling you which orders were being prepared/ready were broken, but the staff absolutely smashed out the food. Good vibes from all the fellow customers in there too.
