One of the most fascinating places in Limerick. Exclusive shoutout to the absolutely amazing Italian lady that makes the best Tiramisu in the world! 💕🍪🍰🍩

I love this place on a Saturday, but it hasn't gotten back to where it was pre-pandemic. I used to be able to find more variety here and a huge crowd. I purchased a pair of silver earrings here once several years ago and felt like I had found treasure. They were unique and a wonderful deal at that. Recovery of these venues will take time, but I certainly hope to see it back where it was someday soon! I was THRILLED to see the selection of olives I've been craving, though! Toons Bridge Dairy has some tasty stuff there!!! UPDATE (Sept 2022): I visited again in August to see a fantastic concert under the Big Top! I was surprised what a wonderful, intimate concert venue the Milk Market became for us fans of Paolo Nutini! What an amazing show! I flew back yet again over the weekend and managed to get to the Saturday Milk Market! Over the summer, it has clearly grown stronger!

The milk market is an incredible experience for any family or shoppers. So much variety, hot food cold food and so many stalls inside and outside. Our kids love going here and make sure you check out the bun stall just inside the arch on the right.

Wonderful place to shop local vendors including food and gifts. Lovey coffee and treats to be had while you browse. Expect it to be a little crowded even post covid rules. Stalls are also outside along the street so it's a fun couple hours of browsing if you're up for it.

I think we caught this market on a off day. There wasn’t a lot going on. It was a Sunday. It was nice to start the day off for coffee and homemade crêpes. Very fresh. We were there roughly around 9 to 10:30 in the morning. It’s a good chance. A lot of the shops and booths opened up later. Very historic and worth popping in.

A covered market in limerick city: open every Saturday for the public. The milk market is a great place to grab fresh coffee, juice, bakery, fruits, cheese, meats, and crafts! It’s a place where people meet on Saturdays to walk around, grab coffee and chat! Irish music playing in the background, the smell of fresh coffee around the place and business owners chatting with the public and presenting their goods. There’s a cool seating area upstairs with nice views of the entire market.

Great place to visit if you are in Limerick on the weekend. Nice local products from food and clothes to art. Make sure to visit Re:story to check the local art and even get some lessons in history.

Unfortunately the opening time doesn't match what is indicated on Google map. Most stalls were closing at our arrival 2pm. Hopefully we find a good cheese seller, totally recommended.

Nice martlet place to visit while you are in Limerick. Lovely selection of local food items as well as crafts and even some flea market type places and food vendors outside the Milk Market. If you are in the area while they are open it is definitely worth a stroll through here. Whether you want to buy things or just observe people out and about you will enjoy this venue.

A fantastic place to visit during your visit to Limerick. A foodie’s paradise! Some of the best food you’ll find anywhere! You might think you’ll just wander through and look but you’ll wind up staying for hours enjoying the colours, smells and sounds. Like anywhere else in Ireland, if you make eye contact with anyone, you’re bound to have a pleasant and interesting conversation! You’ll definitely want to go back especially in a Saturday when the all the food stalls are in operation and the place is buzzing with activity! The Milk Market is one of the oldest if not the oldest market in Ireland! A true gem!

A nice treat every to try local food, artisan products and support local small businesses. My favourites are freshly squeezed juice, sourdough bread, coffee, bag of oysters, creamy blue cheese.

Fun atmosphere and nice local community. We bought some bread and it was delicious. Bought a pack of strawberries, but after-hours travel back to Dublin, I realized the strawberries probably were not fresh because by tomorrow night, they were totally spoiled/rotten.

This is a great place to shop local and organic produce. Fresh vegetables, fruits, baked goods and many cheese stalls steal your attention. There are plenty food stalls providing various brunch/lunch options for a reasonable price. Some of the shops are family owned small businesses that tend to have a little pricy stuff but they have quality products and excellent customer service. Be sure to follow their website and social media to get real time updates about timings and other announcements!

Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere. Real Christmas vibe. Variety of different foods available from all back grounds and a great mix of our own limerick stalls . It would be a great experience for young children .

Nice little market, but not much to offer. By far the best stall is the cheese stall that has an AMAZING selection for a fantastic price.

A great place to shop fresh fishes, fruits and vegetables. Great vendors with homemade bakery items, honey and much more home made processed meats. Very Irish . Thoroughly enjoyed it. Bit costlier compared to supermarket stores but there is a difference

Saturday is really the day to go. We went Sunday. Which was anti climatic, no seating available. If you can go Saturday-I could see it being a fun visit then. Knowing whst I know now I would not have planned my Sunday to be milk market-easy skip

Several food and other stalls, homemade dishes, cheese, herbs, fruits/vegetables, handicrafts, etc. Prices are high.

The Milk Market is opened on Saturday and Sunday and you can find delicious desserts and bakery products, you can buy fresh food and vegetables, have lunch with different choices. I love going there on Saturday morning for breakfast and have a lovely dessert, but also for lunch. I like the choice of Italian products in a shop inside the Market, there are some products from Sardinia.

My boyfriend and I love the milk market! It is so fun to go on a Saturday and look at all the vendors! Perfect family outing for the weekend and lots of food stands to eat at. It is covered, so no worries in the rain. Open Saturday from 8-2/3ish and Sunday from 11-3ish (food only, no vendors). Buskers frequently play which makes for a nice atmosphere and they have different themed fairs on a few Sundays through the year!

There are lots of different stalls to look through. Mostly runs on Saturday and Sunday. There are lots of baked goods and food stalls to choose from. There is also a nice crepe shop. I personally love the jewelry and artist that sell there. There are also some fresh produce stalls. The most interesting stands are the ones that sell the old tools.

Great Place to kill a few hours on a Saturday wandering through the food and craft stalls. Also watch it for a turquoise Taco truck... their food is amazing!

A shout out to Sefik, who not only hosts a stall each week at the Milk Market with beautiful Turkish food and juice, but also provided his trays of delicious baklava for my 40th birthday party recently. All at the party loved his delicious desserts. He even creates vegan baklava. He is always so friendly and kind too. Highly recommended!

Fabulous selection of produce. Great value. I’d highly recommend the Gourmet sausage tent outside the entrance is a must. It’s unbranded green tent with gourmet bacon, sausage, homemade sauces and gourmet topppings (The Market Griddle). Best value food in Ireland. Also recommend the pomegranate and orange juice Turkish stall. The tea lady for the best selection of custom teas. So many options for so many things!

What a fantastic market. Visited for the 1st time last Saturday and its brill. You can literally buy anything at this market. Best of produce, from fruit, veg, meats etc. And you can get a brekkie roll and much more here. Well worth a visit.

The place is very cool.🔥 You can get homemade snacks,😋 Salads, croissant, local cheeses, vegetables, fruits, assorted meats, bread and there are also some things worth trying like gateaux and different types of home-made sweets, as well as various dishes that you will not find in restaurants.😊 In the outdoor spaces; you will find various things such as clothes, equipment and accessories, as well as books, paintings, and many other useful stuff. This is a weekly exhibition not to be missed in Limerick every weekend.

Great food and great atmosphere. I'm a big fan of flea markets, farmers markets, and craft fairs and somehow the milk market is able to capture the essence of all three. While I was there, I thrifted some clothing, got fresh cheese, meats, and bread, and was able to get some really good food for lunch as well. Honestly one of my favorite things to do on the weekends at limerick city, would recommend.

Fabulous vibrant market and as it was a sunny day when I visited it felt as if I was in the South of France. There are a great collection of stalls and produce and some great food spots within the bustling market.

Good food, fresh! The steak sandwich is a must and then walk across the court and pick up a bag of fresh fried chips for 3 euros. The toasties at Mary's are amazing. Choice of 90 cheeses on a baguette with a sun dried tomato and garlic spread. Perfect match! The guitarist was very good too!

The milk market should be visited on Fridays and Sundays. There are many different vendors selling crafts and food but they are not that special in my opinion. The atmosphere is pretty nice especially when there is live music.
