Followed and rooted for these guys on TV. Not a big takeaway person but decided to give them a try this evening. I do not like to leave negative reviews but on this occasion it is warranted. Ordered via Just Eat with an ETA of 19:25. Food arrived at 20:25 delivered by a guy on a bike. Bearing in mind I live by the Greenhills Hotel on the Ennis Road. The food was cold and inedible. €3.95 for a small box of frozen chips is scandalous gents. The tenders were stuck together which is most likely due to the delay in delivering them. I called the restaurant to explain the situation but was advised that they take no responsibility for the quality of the food once it leaves the restaurant. Went onto explain how Just Eat can deliver all round the city and occasionally this can cause issues with the food quality. Advised that I need to contact Just Eat to resolve. Just an FYI gents. It is your food and your reputation on the line. If you decide to use Just Eat then please take ownership of same. Especially so when adding a service charge. Simply not good enough. Saturday night takeaway ruined as a result.

Slightly disappointed! I came here with high hopes. They were shattered. The place has a small issue with hygiene. It needs a good cleaning. The tables were dirty. I wanted to clean the table, but couldn't find any cleaning products. The food looks tasty but it wasn't (at least to my taste). I had the Southern feels. The sauce was way sour and the cheese tasted really bad. I couldn't finish it. Don't recommend nor will come back!

I ordered food for the first time and the delivery never arrived. When ringing the restaurant questioning about my order I was told “ the delivery driver delivered the food “ yet I’ve never received any phone call or seen any car outside my window with the food. I’m disappointed to hear them referring me back to Just-eat, and just-eat referring me back to the restaurant. Questioning from an award-winning restaurant….

Got the Flaming Lame and it was a damn good sandwich. Honestly not a single complaint, would highly recommend if looking for good pocket friendly grub.

Live the atmosphere, service and food in the place! I ate the Flaming Lane (sans fill pickle slaw 🧐) and it melts in your mouth and providers a kick that makes you smile! Definitely a repeatable customer here! 🍺tj

We stopped in to order a couple veggie burgers. The menu does not list cheese as part of the order, and the cheese that comes with the burger is not vegan. However, the staff was quick to fix the issue for us. Very happy with our experience.

Delicious sandwich. They have a vegan option and are really knowledgeable on vegan food. They even know which breads have egg and which ones don’t.

One of the best value places to get food in Limerick city. Must visit, insanely good value and fantastic options. I had the BBQ dinner box and it was very nice. The chips were very nice. Staff were awesome too. Music selection rocked!

Was in recently after seeing it has won a food Irish award. Got a sandwich chips and wings, the sandwich was really good, the bread itself Was nice and soft, got the bacon chips which were just ok nothing great probably wouldn't get them again and the wings were poor didn't feel like they were probably cooked. Would recommend a sandwich but not sure on there sides

I’ve heard a lot about Sambros, but never had the chance to try it as I always thought they use Irish beef. I called the restaurant today and I was surprised as I’ve been told they have both chicken and beef halal. I didn’t even hesitate and ordered straight away hehe. The garlic girl sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had tbh. It’s rich in flavor and full of chicken. Mac n cheese was not that great, but tasted nice. The portion was quite small for 4.75€. I’d love to explore more of their menu.

Good selection of sandwiches. I went for the Ruben. Decent portion of meat but bread should be thicker to prevent it breaking away.

I got the Veg burger meal, the chips were so fresh and yummy and the burger itself was one of the best vegetarian burgers I've had from anywhere. The staff were also lovely such a gem of a spot for a bite to eat.

Great tasting food and good value. Better value than "you know which burger joint in limerick I'm talking about" Going to try the whole menu soon. Wish Sambros all the best in business. Limerick needs some good food 🙏

We have gotten Sambros for our last few takeaways and they have instantly become our favourite take out food in Limerick. It's no wonder they were voted best take out in Ireland. Today, we tried somewhere different for a change and it was so disappointing, we were left regretting not just sticking to the best, Sambros! BBQ box/classic smash burger with vol au vent fries, JUST DO IT!

Cool place and very friendly service. Disappointed in the food. Pastrami barely resembled real Pastrami and was more like reheated sliced beef. "Sauerkraut" was just raw cabbage with some sauce, so not really sauerkraut. Chips were frozen and drink wasn't even chilled on a hot summer day.

Not good . Got myself the flaming lane sandwich with chips and it was very disappointing. The bread itself is clearly frozen sub baps from musgraves nothing special there and the chicken tasted dry and was covered in cheap salsa you'd get in a taco kit in Aldi. Skinny frozen chips with garlic mayo or should I say basil mayo god knows why . . I washed it down with a nice warm coke thanks guys won't be back. Limerick town gotten very rough

Grand lunch - staff was very enthusiastic and helpful. Chips were top notch. Burger was decent if a tad flavourless

10/10 food burgers here are top quality along with everything else. Always trying new ideas with their burgers. Can’t fault the place at all!
