I love this gym. Every member of staff is so friendly, so helpful and always always smiling and motivating. Gym is always spotless, loaded with top of the range equipment and the atmosphere is great. Want to also single out Olga for her exceptional personal training skills, she is so patient and thorough the hour absolutely flies and you finish up buzzing. She took the time to really get to know me, know my fitness levels and know what I need. I normally hate gyms but I've only had happy days so far here!

Amazing Gym! Feels like a little community from the moment you walk in the door! Classes are fantastic with a great variety and the trainer caters for all levels! Machines are well maintained and kept clean by staff and (most) gym users :) The extra bonus which makes me even want to pop in on my rest days is the superb barista coffee! :)

Excellent trainers who are always welcoming and helpful, the personal trainer programmes are great that will work everything with your nutrition and goal setting and great coffee or protein shakes available after too.

Not adding photos because it’s not allowed. You can still take photos of yours maybe. Coming to the review: The best gym I’ve come across in Limerick. I’ve been to 3 other gyms in limerick in the past 3 years and this is where I’ve ended up now. My favourite part of the gym is the staff here, they’re just amazing with anything, so helpful and cheerful which you won’t find anywhere else. This also leads to the staff dedication towards the gym cleanliness and hygiene, they always make sure everything is clean, may it be the vanity/changing room, toilets or rest of the gym. I’ve also noticed that they always re rack the weights if not done(not only at the end of the day, it’s on regular intervals) which makes it all tidy and nice. Next thing would be the facilities, they have classes for people who like group classes for fitness which can be booked from the app. For entry, you can just use your phone to unlock (keycard less). They have a small cafe incase you need something. pre-workout/protein shake/ other items on the display available on spot. Filtered drinking water available, also have sparkling water. Good amount of equipments for the current strength what I’ve observed(New equipments). Machines and weights are all categorised and easy to find things. Visually appealing, looks great on sunny days as the roof has natural light incoming. If anything is broken/needs repairing, it’s resolved quickly, maintenance is very good. Plenty of parking available outside. Another plus point is that they listen to your suggestions/ needs and address them, they add all the things possible. You can leave out the suggestions on the suggestion box outside which doesn’t go unread. Some of them had asked for punching bags, hair dryer, etc, etc, which have been added. Of course they can’t add everything as some people have absurd requirements, but they do make sure to add necessary items on priority. Overall the vibes here are great and a lovely place for a great workout.

By far the best gym i’ve visited in Limerick. Has a good range of free weights and machines and there’s always new pieces of equipment being added too! There is also a good selection of classes for you to join ranging from Hiit to Spinning. Recommend Matchbox if you havent tried it yet.

Loving my gym sessions here. Helpful staff, nice ambiance, lots of space, a good variety of equipment, always plenty of weights and machines available. All this makes for a great workout atmosphere. Even down to the music, the smell, the temperature, the air flow, these guys have it aced!

When you walk into Matchbox fitness the positive energy and enthusiasm from all the team just hits you immediately. A fantastically well equipped gym, and still adding. Spotless and the shakes are delicious. I’ve trained in gyms all over the world, and few if any have exceeded the quality of Matchbox Fitness..I couldn’t recommend it higher enough…

Started an endurance programme with Shane two weeks ago. He knew from assessing my movement and fitness level what i needed to do initially before I moved onto some of the machines. The programmes I have are so straight forward, easy to follow, doable, and already I'm feeling it! Plus I don't have to spend hours in the gym, i can pop in there at lunch time and get the job done! Love this gym - friendly staff, and more importantly, Great Coffee :) :)

Best gym I’ve ever been in so funky and great lighting and atmosphere, Chris who was working was great showed me around everywhere and was very nice and welcoming, Definitely would recommend coming can’t wait to come again 10/10

I love the gym equipments and scenery. The employees have great customer service as well. Definitely, one of the best gyms in Limerick. Zero regrets since I registered at the gym in September 2023. Hands down, one of my best life decisions ☺️

Such an amazing gym, it has everything a person needs to get the job done. Jack and the team are always upgrading machines to be the best, they listen to the customers and their needs and really try to help them to get the best out of they gym, I have been apart of the gym since it opened and seeing it grow to such a known gym now is really great. Looking forward to seeing what they bring in next as I’ll be the first to use it 😊

Match box is a very welcoming and well equipped gym and all the machines are brand new and in the few months I’ve been a member numerous new machines have been added. Great staff who are very obliging especially jack and great coffee which is a nice way to start or finish a session. Plenty of classes depending on what suits and various times. Opening times are another huge plus especially on weekends. I could not recommend this gym more
