This is my third mountain conquered this year. What I love about this place is its mostly forested trail which is like a rosary. There are several places to rest here one of my favorites it the Fifth station where they offer free civet coffee. For those unfamiliar with it, Civet coffee is the most expensive of all coffees. The hike takes around 2 hours... Shorter if you are a trained mountaineer.

Easy climb that's perfect for beginners. It'll only take 2 hours to get to the top. The trip is affordable too. There's a campsite near the summit so you can stay overnight. It also only takes 2 hours going down from the top.

My First ever hike was definitely memorable and really fun. Never expect that mountain hiking is really fun. We reached the summit at 2 hours and down at 1hour 45 mins. Good thing that we have practice at Festival Alabang Mountain Bike Trail. Reaching the summit is one of a kind experience and after the hike we had a good lunch "tinolang manok na tagalog". While trekking we stopped at different stations to have our breaks and Mang Tinio's Civet Coffee is one of the highlight.. Its FREE and they offfer a good Lumpiang Gulay...

Beginner-friendly mountain near Manila. A place where you can find peace and relaxation. Ideal for camping and picnic. There are rest stations like nipa huts and locals right here are very nice to travelers. Summit has a big cross and mini grotto for religious activities. Nice place for Lenten season and during vacations. Local Food and drinks are available at some of the stations. Unlimited free coffee is being offered at station 5 (they are also selling Civet coffee). Trails are mostly covered by trees. A nice place to unwind and to escape from crowded metro.

Mt. Manabu is simply among the all-time favorites of seasoned mountaineers. Newcomers would also do best to start on this mountain. Not only that it has one of the richest natural environments among the mountains in Batangas but it promises an enriching experience that first-time hikers would definitely learn from and would certainly make them love the sport. Its trail is a right combination of both chill and challenge. Chill because it’s fairly an easy hike with only a handful of assaults towards the summit. Challenge as it involves river crossing and steep assaults as you approach the peak. With the abundance of more glorified mountains around, Mt. Manabu stands out from the rest as it offers not just a stunning view at its peak but moments with strangers and new found friends over a cup of Alamid/Civet coffee you would surely cherish for the rest of your days.

Mt. Manabu is a great place to go if you want a quick and chill climb. It is 2hrs away from Manila. The people you'll meet are very helpful and kind so you don't have to worry at all.
