The place is your usual carinderia style place but it's clean and tables are not too cramped. Their goto batangas is legit and the broth is very flavorful with umami essence. The meat is tender and with generous amount. You normally eat it with rice but on its own, it is still good... Especially on a rainy Sunday morning.

There is no other way of saying this, but this is the Best Goto I ever had so far. The taste of the broth is flavorful and has depth. It feels like you are receiving a hug after a very bad day. The meat is soft and tender at the same time. Perfect texture when it comes to the meat soft but not too soft. The atmosphere is very homely and warm. I was lucky that aling Tessie was there when I dropped by. She is full of smiles. I really encourage everyone who enjoys Goto to try this place. Even for people who have not yet tried Goto to go here. If this is you first Goto I feel bad for you because it is hard to find a place that is in the same level or higher. I will definitely comeback here.

Best Goto in Batangas!

Definitely a no frills eatery, Tessie's has been cooking goto since the 80's and is well established amongst locals in Lipa. Batangas goto is different from Manila goto though. Batangas goto is like a cross between bulalo and papaitan. The Manila version is rice congee with beef tripe. A serving costs only ₱100 which is pretty cheap. There's no parking and there's no aircon. This place isn't large and most people just get take out. I love eating here though. It's real old school food done in the same way for ages

The best goto in Lipa!!!

One of the oldest Gotohan in Lipa City. Visiting this place is a must. No Parking area thou.

this is my/our childhood Goto place whenever we are in Lipa.. my siblings and cousins are friend with the owner's children.. there place used to be small one down the road then they transfer to a bigger place up, much closer to our ancestral house..

If you are in Lipa, be sure to swing by Tessie's Goto. For only 50php +15php rice, you'll get mouth watering gotong Batangas. Been here multiple times. I will definitely go to Lipa just to eat here.

The food is good however as time more passes it increased the price dramatically.

The goto they serve consistently taste real good!! Kudos!!
