    They may have the best doctors on board but their hotline sucks big time. I can't even comprehend why they boast their teleconsult service highlighting skipping the line while the patient waits on the phone for more than 30 minutes which still wastes the patient's time. And they reason that one patient per agent. How many hours do they need to process requests? I say they are employing incompetent agents who do not share their mission and vision. So disappointing

    I called the hotline. Five minutes talking to a machine and at the end there is not any option for consultation. So it is an useless hotline because hotlines are for important things and there is not option via phone to be attended. Finally I was able to talk to a person but when they answered the phone, I asked for a consultation and they hang out the phone. I tried a second time and the machine did not recognize the numbers, so another five minutes lost. I called a third time and same result. Paying a medical insurance for nothing...

    their “FREE”’ Dental Prophylaxis is horrible. I tried to book one in Dental Edge - Fairview Terraces and they are charging Php 500 for the asepsis na requirement daw. I went to my previous dentist na hindi maxicare accredited and didn’t require me for that asepsis naman. Scam yung free dental prophylaxis nyo. Also, I called other accredited dental clinics, fully booked na daw sila until December coz EVERY WEDNESDAYS lang ang accepting of Maxicare dental prophylaxis bookings.

    The app is so slow. I requested for an LOA, thought everything was okay. When I went to the clinic, it turned out that the doctor wasn't working there anymore. Can't you get a decent developer to fix your mobile app? Also, make regular updates to the list of doctors and clinics. Your app is RUBBISH!

    Tried contacting their hotline 85821900 only to be passed around 5 times to several departments just for a single inquiry. I was on hold a loooong time. And when finally I was endorsed to the correct dept, the lady who answered claimed she can't hear me and just ended the call. What a broken system.

    I tried to call their emergency mobile phone, a globe # on the web. After a recording, pressing numbers and such, and finally ringing the right department, but before connection to a person, the calls kept on getting dropped.

    they dont even deserve a star for ratings! Napakasama ng customer service especially the treasury department where I had to process my refund. At first email they were very responsive to acknowledge the request and gave me the time frame of release. I waited 1 month only to realized no refund has been made. I had to call them a hundred times before Amy Agraan of treasury finally answered her desk phone only to find out that she did not see my freaking follow up emails to her. She said the refund will be via check and promise me a week. I emailed her for the updates but she never answer until today saying that the check is up for releasing to the date she promised me I should have it. Wow thats their expedite process! to give you promises! Worst customer service ever! I can imagine how they love their job of being incompetent!

(Original) Gusto ko nang healthcard na ako magbabayad para sa laboratory test, konsulta sa doctor at lahat tungkol sa pagka ospital kaya gusto ko magkaroon nang Maxicare. Pero tinatawagan ko sila tatlo o limang buwan , ilang beses ako tumawag sa kanila, ilang pangako na may tatawag sa akin at wala naman. Bumalik ako galing ibang bansa hindi sila matawagan. Sumakay pa ako nang kotse nang Grab halagang 228 pesos galing Quezon Citi hanggang Makati. Naghintay hintay pa rin ako sa ahente at ang tagal tawagan nang security guard na receptionist na rin isa sa kanila. Nagkataon na nakita ko ang isang manager at biglang lumitaw ang isang ahente. Hindi ganun lahat kadali makakuha nang benepisyo. Sa palagay ko hindi para sa akin ang HMo card ngayon lalo na sa ipinakitang kawalang aksiyon nila sa mga tawag ko. Para lang sa kanila gumastos pa ako nang Php 228 at bumihaye pa ako nang ganun kalayo para lang sa hindi ka pabor pabor na insurance. Wala man lang alok na tubig o kape hahaha.     Horrible web host member portal. Error loading website every single time with out a miss. I Only visit once a while has never improved a bit. Its no excuse to hire decent web experts being expensive come on, Do your thing fairly to your members.

After her cutting me off like her yelling at me I said - " Miss can you not cut me off? Then the conversation went on. She asked me what company and what site I told her abbreviation and the site I work at. She said --Pwede bang wag mo kong bigyan ng acronym. The story went on until she said d naman to HR ng company nyo. Sa HR nyo ikaw tumawag. She could have just ask me in a nice way. In the first place this is medical card. I was very clear when I said I'm sick-- This is the first time I called Maxicare since our company transferred from Intellicare. But is this the kind of Customer Service you will give us? I didnt get her name. But my call ended 4:08PM 5/31/2016 and If I will be asked. I want her out of her position and or company!!! We don't deserve rudeness over the phone trying to get assistance. If I only have the option to rate 0, I will!!!

    This is the first time my company has employed their services. They set endorsement guidelines that make it difficult for companies to secure APE services. Intellicare does better. When I was using the card, all I had to do was walk into a clinic, have the card swiped after confirming my ID, and secure quality medical services. Not so with Maxicare. Our HR has to wait for an endorsement letter, which defeats the purpose of their card. One disgruntled client here.
