Came here during lunch. Ordered one of the lunch special. Shrimp and broccoli with the pork fried rice. May ask next time for more veggies less rice. Food was good. Did not have to wait longer. Staff nice. Told a worker about this spot and she agreed. We both would return again.

My chicken tasted like it had gone bad. I got teriyaki chicken on a stick which I order at every Chinese restaurant. When you first bite it, it taste like grilled teriyaki chicken but the more you chew it you could taste the chicken like it had gone bad. I walked to the front, approach the manager quietly, so the other customers could not hear me. I wasn’t trying to make a scene. Just wanted him to know that the chicken tasted like it had gone bad. And I would like to exchange for something else, I was told he sells lots of it and I’m the only one who complained about it and that there was nothing that he was going to do about it. I told him that it’s bad customer service. I worked in the food industry for years and this was not OK. I said if I can’t get my money back or food exchanged that I would post about it. I then proceeded to take a video and got treated even worse. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will never return.

Update: today we enjoyed lunch Pork Egg Foo Young, Hunan beef and crab Rangoon. The lunches came with fried rice and a pork egg roll. All delicious! Imma keep coming back! 1st visit: Ordered pork chow mai fun, crispy beef, crab rangoon, egg roll and Singapore spring roll. Everything was great!! I don't think I've eaten Chinese food this delicious in over 20 years. Very satisfied and will be back to try more of their menu. Friendly staff. Super busy at 7pm. Large portions.

New China did not disappoint. Food was great and well cooked, and although the restaurant was busy the woman working the front desk was a champ handspring answering the phones, taking payment, and getting the food orders out. Will definitely return

I went online online and ordered 3 s9 which is sesame chicken 1w/o sesame seeds. And 2with lo main 1 regular. The menu says they are $10.25 each. I also ordered 1 order of crab Rangoon which is priced $4.75 That comes to $35.50+tax .When I arrive I'm charged $61.65!! When I asked why? oh the online menu is old one. What? Aren't you supposed to charge someone the price it's marked? So when I ordered I wanted a boneless chicken, they tell me they don't sell that. So when I looked at the menu it's on there and it's the same thing as sesame chicken w/o the seeds. Wow! Ok so now I get home and all the chicken is the same (all have seeds) and no crab Rangoon. I call them and they said that they're in the bag. I said no sir they're not in there. He says in the small bag, I told him we only got 1 bag. So he argued with me that he put it in there. For a good 10mins. Then he says well bring the stuff back. Really? You want me to tell my family not to eat and for me to drive all the way back there so you can continue to argue with me over crab Rangoon that I was over charged for anyway and run my gas out of my car and by time I would get back home all the food would be cold! Wow Really? The worst experience I've ever had .

Three stars for atmosphere in a strip mall type Chinese joint is high praise for me. As well as four stars or the food service. I have a general rule phone without never getting five stars for strip mall Chinese food places. How are the food was good. Not what I would have expected from a dining hole in the wall. The people there were nice of course you have ask for condiments which are not volunteered in the bag. The pricing was a little high but not bad. All in all I would definitely be there again. But it wouldn't be my first choice

I have tried several Chinese restaurants in the few years in SC. One thing I absolutely missed was Chinese food from NY. New China has definitely filled that need. They are my only go to for Chinese food. In my opinion you will not be disappointed if you're looking for NY Chinese take out.

Best Chinese food in the sunset calabash area. Fresh and delicious and huge portions. All your familiar favorites like sesame chicken ; beef and broccoli etc. Staff friendly and very fast .would reccomend

New to area n have purchased food here 3 times so far, food was hot, was real good n prices are good, really hard working bunch of people there n fast all 3 times the orders were dead on correct. 08/16/23 WELL 5 times now and still doing real good, food done on time n taste great and prices are good also.
