Lumding Kalibari is the oldest temple in Lumding & also one of the oldest temple in Assam which is believed to be built around the year 1885. Lumding Kalibari is dedicated mainly to Goddess Kali but deities of Lord Shiva, Lord Jagannath, Lord Narayana and Goddess Durga are also worshipped. The annual Durga Puja here is very popular and attracts devotees from entire town and all parts and corners of Assam and other parts of India aswell. It is one of the most important places for the people of Lumding.

This is a very beautiful Kali temple in lumding and can be said one of the oldest in lumding. My family has been visiting this place for many years travelling from Dimpaur to Lumding, however during the recent visit we saw that kids have made it as their dating space which corrupts the entire atmosphere near it .
