Amazing trip. It is not just about Virachey National park, it is the trip from Banlung to there, we hired 2 dodgy motorbikes and drove all the way to Vunsai where we took the ferry to croos the river. The road from the river to the park was a good adventure on the small scooters specially in the muddy roads, oh did i mention roads, which road. There was literally no road and the best part of the trip that we did not know where we are going but with the help of the locals we found our way. The people we met on the way and the view was amazing. We arrived to the tree rop house eco tourosm resort where ro my surprise was extremly clean and well maintained by the owner. The owner took us on a short track in the mountain, and the view from there looking at Taveng was amazing, who said no more forest? The trip is highly recommended, dont take a tour guide just get lost in Vun Sai until you find your way, there is a lot to discover. If you scared of leeches dont go in rainy season

The park is one of only two Cambodian ASEAN Heritage Parks.[2] The park overlaps Ratanakiri and Stung Treng Provinces. The park's flora and fauna is threatened by illegal logging. Administration of the park is the responsibility of the Cambodian Ministry of Environment.

We had our three days trekking with bamboo-rafting in this wonderful park. It was our highlight trip in southeat Asai bd we trekked with Parrot Tours as they are the only company that gave us many selection to choose to trek in the forest. We recommend them as the best base to set up your jungle tour!

Virachey National Park is the most beautiful topical lush jungle area in Cambodia where you can enjoy your jungle trek to explore many natural resources and loads of fuana and flora. We trekked for five days in this park and it was Amazing Amazing Almazing we saw so many interesting things and learned a lot during the hike. We trekked with Parrot Tours in Banlung the company has many choices to trek inside the park. We highly reccommed them as the best to discover this park!

Located in Ratanakiri province, it is one of the Asean Heritage park. Wild life, mountains and waterfalls can be found in Virachey National park. If you are hiking, trekking or camping lover, Virachey is a must visit place. To get there tourist needs to register at the provincial environment department and ethnic group called Kuy are very friendly and ready to guide and show you to many good places. Highly recommended to stay at the mountain at least 2 nights.

Still worth going here. But it is a pity that they cut down almost all primary forest in this vast area that used to be thickly forested. Uncontrolled logging.

Vireakchay National Park or Veal Thom is the most highlight place for me in Cambodia. You should go there when the raining season early starts. It will be green and cold. There is also good place to see milky-way, sunset and sunrise.
