never been first time here! but i’d say it’s definitely cambodian food you want but it’s a higher price luxury restaurant. not the kind where you have to dress up nice but the prices are definitely higher than other hole in the wall restaurant. my favorite dish is definitely the fish amok. the service was great! always making sure everything was good and she was making sure we ate until we were full as a joke. definitely an amazing scenery full of trees and pond of koi fishes. definitely go give it a try at least once.

Mainly I use here at morning time. As breakfast we can select good set. This time I chose Cambodian noodle set and fruit plate. This has noodle, orange juice and coffee. Just 8 dollars. Good place and nice service! Highly recommend.

Best Cambogia restaurant I have ever tried, we had a dinner here. The place is comfortable and well-finished in Cambogia style. The chef is famous. The menu is polished and is great valued by the people of the place and tourists. U will have a fantastic gastronomic experience if u go there. One tipical plate is amok fish with rice cooked in a coconut, but u can eat meat (pork shin good), and kind of rice (crab rice 5 stars) and noodles. Vegetables are nice. Wide choose of wines.

I came for fish amok and it didn’t disappoint. I gotta clarify that I never had one before and trying it in Malis was a way of educating myself to this Khmer dish. The fish tasted fresh and the medley of spices with the coconut milk worked well. I love the ambiance and the staff were very accommodating.

A posh restaurant in Siem Reap with good food. Impressive facade and the interior setting is very elegant. They seems to be passionate in food presentation. I ordered something light. Avocado with crab meat, scallops with green peppercorn and fish amok. However the service is a bit lacking. Hope there are more smiles from the service staff.

Chicken sour soup, fish Amok, scallop with fresh green seed pepper, for sure, we know of are Cambodian food. The avocado crab, I am not sure. This is a place to go for treating oneself, to a well decorated, flavorful, and different meal. But not for the service. Most of Asia are not there yet, when it comes to high end waitressing/waiting. Still needs a little improvement. All in all, I will go back for the better other restaurant service, atmosphere, and surprisingly fast serving food. I wish this place success.

Malis for breakfast. Kuy Teav Malis for 6.48usd. Very natural seafood and pork broth with no unnecessary sweetness. Big and tender pork nuckles, nicely done pork innards except the liver whichwwas pretty dry. Small pieces of shrimp and squid was ok. Came with a free stale chocolate croissant. Crispiness lost since it is a day or two old but originally it was an ok one. Would recommend warming it before serving. Khmer sweet soup dessert which was a bit watery was served too. In any event, much more satisfying than the very expensive lunch or dinner dishes which would be rated 3 for me.

My most expensive meal in a month across Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangkok (didn’t go anywhere else in Thailand). For the quality and gourmet aspect of the restaurant, I feel that the price is still just a little bit pricey. I had the crab fried rice which was presented beautifully, and tasted just as well, if not better. Aside from the meat stir fried with the rice, it also came with 2 claws with very fresh and delicious crab meat. However, it was the seasonal ice cream (3 flavors) that stole the show for me. Hands down one of the best ice creams I have ever eaten, and I self proclaim to be one of the biggest ice cream eaters in the world haha. Recommended place! Staff that served me was super, explaining to me the dishes, and stuff, telling me he hand pick and design the ice cream to be sold seasonally.

Very nice restaurant, romantic and beautiful ambience. Is good to go at night, the decoration and lighting is very pretty. You must make reservation days before your dinner. If you like the natural air, u can choose to sit on the ground floor with open air, else will be upstairs in room with air cond. Good price is normal, if you comparing to this kind of ambience, environment, presentation. Food taste is very good, you can taste a lot of authentic Cambodian food in here. Remember to order all four desserts, all of them are so nice 😋

Visiting Malis was my first experience with Cambodian Khemer cuisine. The food, service and atmosphere was mind blowing. The only thing I feel sad about is not having enough space in my tummy 😭.

Our experience was a bit underwhelming. Our appetizer was absolutely fantastic - the scallops with green peppercorns. Delicious! Unfortunately, the main dishes weren't nearly as good. The Takeo pork chop was well cooked but lacked flavour, some more of the sauce would have been nice. The Crab with Kroeung was average. Not a bad flavour, but again quite dry and unimaginative. With the elevated prices that this restaurant charges, I expect elevated cuisine. Also, although not a big issue, we felt rushed through our courses as the server brought mains out as we were still on our last bite of our appetizer. The Malis passion cocktail was nice. The mangoritta too, but the salt rim is a bit much, especially as there was a bit of salt inside the glass and consequentially, in the cocktail, making it salty. I would have preferred a more carefully applied salt rim over half the glass only (to give the customer the choice) or even better, a chilli rim as the cocktail contains chilli.

Very nice restaurant. Fairly pricey for Phnom Penh standards, yet fair portions and quality. Better sitting outside, very cozy atmosphere around a little pond. Inside, the restroom is very back to basics. They have a delicious beef lok lak: it is not on the menu, you have to ask for it!

This restaurant has a traditional yet modern twist in terms of the environment and menu - both of which had a luxurious quality. The menu offers a great selection and the quality and taste of each dish we ate was of an incredibly high standard - which reassuringly is endorsed by global celebrities (including celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey and Jackie Chan) shown tastefully around the restaurant.

The food is so amazing I had to write this review while still sitting at the table. The whole place is wonderful. I love all the fountains and the plants. The staff is wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. And the food is absolutely beautifully presented and delicious. We had the tofu, the scallop appetizer, chicken curry wrapped in lotus flower leaves and amok fish and everything was absolutely amazing especially the tofu. As a photographer I especially enjoyed being able to look at beautiful photos of their food and correspond with the description. We found you on TripAdvisor and will definitely be recommending this place.

Our guest house reception girl recommended this place and did some reading on the reviews before going. As what was raved about, it is true. The ambience was very nice, with outdoor water feature like Bali. The service was great especially the captain who took our orders. Food wise, we had 3 dishes. The scallop was the best followed by Amok fish fillet and Kampot crab fried rice was just so so. If we ever come again, we'll probably have the scallop again but will give the other 2 a miss and try other dishes. Overall, highly recommended.

We had tried Khmer food in markets and street but wanted to try a chef restaurant’s take on it. We had the set menu with Cambodian dishes and some I really liked however overall I found some of them too greasy. But it was great to taste a variety of dishes.

It's a stylish place in a central location with an extensive menu featuring traditional dishes. The taste of the bamboo soup was unique, and I enjoyed it. However, I found it disappointing because the eggplant was sweeter than I expected.

My first Cambodia visit and first Cambodian food! I heard this restaurant is quite premium local food. No wonder why everything was so perfect. Foods are quite similar to Thai food but less salty which I liked the most. Must try the Banana pancake!

The food was delicious! Beautiful setting where you can sit outdoors by a small pool or indoors with AC. We enjoyed our evening but the only callout I would make is that we ordered 5 dishes between 2 people and the server (although was nice) felt like she kept pushing us to order a 6th dish just because we didn’t get a main dish. It was more than plenty. To the point where we had to cancel the 6th dish and they at first didn’t even know how to process the information. But thankfully it wasn’t made yet and we were able to. My favorite dish of the night was the dry noodles and the lemongrass chicken soup. Just wish they had used less msg. Regardless still a great place for tourists or visiting guests!

Marvellous and attentive service, at times even serving dishes for us to engage and ask how we were getting on Oasis environment in busy city jungle, also situated just up the same street as hipster Bassac Ln, which is a short walk away for cocktails after. Lotus chicken curry and beef satay were amazing! Room for improvement was still bit of mozzy bites from dinner

A posh looking restaurant with beautiful outdoor ambience. Food is on the expensive side but I didn't find it outstanding and on the sweet side for my palate. A restaurant that worth a visit for the nice decor but not really for the food.

It is my first time giving low rate but the service was way too behind. The waitress was so rude and bugs in the food and drink. Cat jumped from upstairs onto the table, a customer was shocked to cry, the waitress just stand there and watch, the kitchen people came out watch her too.
