A cheap, unique and cool experience. Definitely worth doing if you have the time. You can see as little or as much as you'd like as you take yourself round a series of catacombs. Bought tickets upon arrival which was no problem.

Photography within the tomb is not allowed. Access is limited to a guided tour that takes roughly 15 min. Additionally, this attraction closes much sooner than St. Paul's catacombs so I recommend stopping here first. All that said, although brief, the visit is still worthwhile. The tour consists of a walk within the catacombs. Note that the tour has some very low points that require you to duck so be mindful of your physical abilities before pursuing.

The catacombs are very interesting, well preserved including even frescos. I would totally recommend a visit. The ticket is 5 euros, there is also a small museum and the guided tour of the catacombs. They are open despite the fact that they appear as temporarily closed.

Catacombs were interesting, but our guide Dominico made it particularly special. He was very knowledgeable and passionate, and the best part was he also has some personal attachment to it!

Catacombs are nice, but after we saw the 3rd we didnt bother to check the others. Nothing new to see in the small catacombs.

Beautiful catacombs with frescoes, enjoyed this more than St Paul's catacombs. The opening times are more limited, so be sure to plan carefully. The tour is guided and very informative.

If you visit St Pauls catacombs, u sould definitely visit St Agathas also, since its included in the ticket of the first one. The location is just across the street and there are a lot of smaller catacombs to visit. There is a resting area also. Worth visiting while u are in Rabat

Fantastic historical place. You have to pay for entrance. Enjoy walking through beautiful streets of Rabat. Right across St. Pauls catacombs.

Love this little museum and catacomb tour. The museum has an impressive collection of artifacts although appears very disorganised in places. Run by an old couple who also run tours of the catacombs (included in the 5€ fee) .

Much better than the nearby Paul's catacombs! Definitely pay a visit, only 5 euro entrance fee and a small museum located on two floors 😊 The guy offering the guided tour is nice and answers to any question you may have!

Having visited Saint Agatha straight after Saint Paul, the former definitely worth seeing more and only €5. There were amazing collection of different stone, pottery, minerals, and cabinet of curiosity. The best part was a guided tour of the catacombs, to make sense on the meaning and history behind it all. Very worthwhile!

My friend and me visited the museum and the catacombs. The tour guide was friendly and led us through the catacombs. The tour was to the point and the guide answered all our questions politely. He was super knowledgeable.

Great tour and museum! Frescos are amazing to see in their original condition. Highly recommended.

Short schedule for visiting. Closed on Sunday and on afternoons which is a pity because it looks awesome. We couldn't visit it because it was closed. However, St Paul's Catacombs which are at 10m away had a better schedule, so tourists can visit them (as we did).

Great tour by the curator of the museum and catacombs. Luckily we went here before going to Saint Paul's catacombs and learned a lot about how catacombs were used, and how they changed with times and different cultures. Definitely visit Saint Agatha catacombs before going to Saint Paul's. There is much more to see at the Saint Paul's but learining experience is much better and personalized at Santa Agatha.

This was an unexpectedly good visit. Only open in the afternoons but our guided tour gave us a real "feel" for the place and, as it more extensive than the more well-known St Paul's catacombs opposite, having visited both I'd recommend this more highly!

Opens at 1pm on week days and for €5 you access a small dusty museum and wait for the tour to start. The guide takes you on a short route explaining he frescoes and catacombs. You see skeletons in three chambers. The frescoes have been renovated but no retail is given. It was explained that the faces were scratched by the Aruba

If you like history or old caves and archaeology this is the place to visit. The staff was kind and helpfull. The exhibition was big and the catacombs were amazing.

A maze. Amazing but dangerous in places. Poorly lit slopping step.. Should have it's edge marked white. If 3 persons there. We'd all slipped off it. I scraped my elbow on rock. Poorly signed to the actual entrance. Saw a cramped tomb on route and went in... Thinking... Is this all it is. I had many more pictures which are not currently on this phone. Fascinating to visit even if it did injure my elbow

Full of history, great place to educate children, very interesting , not recimmend fir anyone with mobility issues or who may suffer from claustrophobia

Fantastic tour from the rector. 4€ students otherwise 5. Go here before St Paul's Catacombs as the tour will point out things you may miss in St. Paul's like social status, frescos, body arrangements, and traditions.

Very cool experience! Watch your head and take a coat if you are going in the winter. It can get chili in the catacombs.

Interesting seeing these underground tombs. They have nothing to do with Paul if your going because of his name

  • 5/5 M. H. 1 year ago on Google
The little ones but worth the 10 minutes visite.

  • 4/5 Peter D. 1 year ago on Google
A interesting place to visit,we did it as part of tour. It was a very hot day when we visited,we thought it might be cooler in side the catacombs, but it wasn't due to the amount of people in side . But saying all that it's still worth a visit.

The best experience ever, there is a guided tour and an amazing crystal collection in the museum. Much better than St Paul catacombs

Interesting look back into burial of ancient people and the artifacts they were buried with.

Awesome little catacombs, that still have human remains. The museum is wily eclectic and well worth a visit too!

  • 5/5 Aura S. 1 year ago on Google
If you are passionate for history, it is an excellent place to visit, you can see the different types of catacombs and learn about it. But it is quite a long journey

  • 5/5 Katrin K. 1 year ago on Google
The catacombs can be visited only with a guided tour. No pictures are allowed. Many frescoes are still partly visible, but they are moderately to heavily damaged. Highlight were Paleo-Christian frescoes from the 4th century AD depicting birds, purportedly left in their original state. Their existence is for some reason not advertised. The adjacent museum is a collection of various objects, which seems a bit random. Entry to museum and tour is 5 Euro for adults.

    Very insightful place.

Interesting to see, especially if the St Paul's are closed.

  • 4/5 Margo Guy t. 2 years ago on Google
Interesting to learn all the history 😊💜x

  • 3/5 Andreas G. 2 years ago on Google
The museum is a bit weird and has no real concept. A dead alligator next to religious images to a bunch of crystals. 🤷‍♂️ The catacombs are interesting but not particularly large.
