Nearly completely closed due to corona pandemic. Nicely designed with classical themes that could be appreciate who stands with this idea. So many things to read about arabic novelists from different parts of the Arab world. And the beach view is amazing. And people who playing with Jet ski is normal on this beach side.

Enjoyable in the wintertime I just visited Katara and caught up with a good friend of mine. I spent the entire afternoon there and it was really fun and the weather was perfect! The beach was vibrant and they had a farmer's market festival. Katara is a pleasant place if you want to walk around or eat in…

A magnificent landscape where green, blue and gray merge. There are beautiful resting places for athletes in the morning, for families at noon and in the evening. I recommend you to go to this beautiful place frequented by photographers when you have plenty of time on weekends. because 1 hour visit will not be enough for you.

They have a good variety of restaurants where you can enjoy a nice meal after taking a walk. Very entertaining place overall. Beach side was excellent during day and night.

Great place to see and plenty of shops and museums. I went off-season and could hack the 45c + heat during June. Two great mosques there and a of small museums. There was still food outlet’s open for refreshments. No tickets needed and plenty of parking.

So many great things to say about this place! I took an Uber from the airport to Katara late at night, after midnight. There weren’t many people around and it was dark but I felt safe! There was security for a lot of the buildings Unfortunately most shops and restaurants were closed (it was a Thursday) but I still got to take some nice pictures. I’m sure during the day it is stunning. Even at night I was wowed by all that’s here from shops, historical buildings, great architecture, food, a beach, hotels and so much more. There were still some parts I didn’t get to explore but when I come back to Qatar, I plan to spend much more time here. So much to do and see here, a must see!

Good place to visit if you are in Qatar. Would recommend to go at night, for a more worthy experience. While returning back, try to to find the AC street (Hint : it's an open street with cafes all around but you'll feel as if you are in an AC Restuarant)

A very interesting location , with air-conditioning outside so very cool. Free golf cars just wave them down for a pickup or drop off any place in the complex. Just a few words of advice about the cultural area: it's not cheap, two cups of tea £10. High end shopping Mall & restaurants

We visited this place during the dhow festival time. It was a amazing experience. The festival features competitions, traditional marine performances, cultural activities and events that reflect the heritage of Qatar's ancestors . It included the maritime heritage collections of the participating countries, special pavilions for traditional handicrafts, and workshops for making ships and ancient maritime crafts, as well as the heritage marine competitions that was held on Katara Beach throughout the days of the festival. We enjoyed the evening breeze with music. We got chance to hold the falcon bird. Evening was lit by beautiful lights.

This place is great for a walk along the beach and grab a Karak and Chapati. Some great architectural buildings like the Mosque and the amphitheater and plenty of great places for dinner. The alleyways have vents above that blow cold AC air so you stay cool in the heat and at the Katara Plaza the cool air is blown from vents from ground level. Locals love hanging out round this place. The Katara Hills is a lovely green space to enjoy the views of Doha.

The village was absolutely gorgeous. I loved the architecture and the walk around the area. A highlight that day was the free golf cart service that drove me to the metro station because I couldn’t find it. If you’re lost, there are a lot of people around that could help!

The Cultural Village Foundation is an exceptional project of hope for human interaction through art and cultural exchange. Keeping pace with the emerging global culture that emphasises the importance of diversity in human development, Katara Cultural Village is the largest and the most multidimensional cultural project of Qatar. It is a place where people come together to experience the cultures of the world. With beautiful theatres, concert halls, exhibition galleries and cutting-edge facilities, Katara aims to become a world leader for multi-cultural activities. This village shall be a glimpse of the future of a world where people of different cultural backgrounds overcome their national boundaries and embrace common causes to promote a united humanity.

Wonderful place, various restaurants:sea food, karak outlets, sea view, wide garden. In Katara you can enjoy your times. A beach for swimming is available. Hills of greeness with comfortable facilities. Romanian-style theatre 🎥. Location is not far from any point in Doha. Lots of celebrations are held there. Private tents to be hired on the beach where you can spend a whole night with you companion. Lots of ground and underground 🚇 parking spaces. I recommend it to any visitor to experience the beauty 😍 of the place

This is a great place to come visit while in Qatar. We only had a long layover to visit the beautiful city. We came here and enjoyed Ramadan celebrations. The market was likely when the sun set and shops were open and people were strolling around town. It’s a beautiful and clean area.

The beauty of Katara Cultural Village is evident from the moment you arrive. The architecture is a harmonious blend of traditional Qatari elements and contemporary design, creating a visually striking environment. The buildings are adorned with intricate patterns, ornate details, and elegant arches, reflecting the country's rich Islamic heritage. The use of local materials, such as limestone and coral, adds an authentic touch to the structures, further enhancing their beauty.

This place is great to visit in connection with seeing a show at the amphitheater. The local luxury shopping plaza is very high end and even has air conditioning vents located *outside* in the middle of the plaza and the vents provide great relief from the heat!

You can take the world’s best metro here, the entrance is dominated by the high end dept store Galleries Lafayette and a beautiful food hall. But the village is mostly admin buildings that can’t be visited. Only the amphitheater, two art galleries, mosques and restos are open. It feels grand and empty during the week.

One of the must-visit places in Doha. it offers nice settings by the sea overlooking The Pearl. It has variety of activity options as it houses cultural offices, planetarium, nice hills, restaurants, amphitheater, beaches, Galleries Lafayette and wide promenade. Events are frequently held in here. Direct connections from Katara Metro Station and an exit from Lusail Expressway make it easily accessible.

It's beautiful and fun to visit this place! But not so much to do, just seeing beautiful surroundings and buildings, very cool to see! The mall is very fancy and only top luxury brands. Extremely expensive restaurants in this area! We walked around for two hours and then we left to eat at another mall, the Doha festival city (mall) where they have better food choices for better prices. Would recommend a visit to this place if you're in Doha! No entry fee. Very much locals or Saudi Arabian people, never seen so many women in niqab before!! As a tourist you can dress how you want but I rather cover up a bit in this place, since everyone else is 😅

Very beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The antique mosque there is really eye catching. Also the sculptures made of brass metal are really good looking. Must visit place

Very nice complex where you can walk, shop, relax and have a drink. There are many luxury shops. There is also a very nice toys shop. You can park at the free underground car park and reach the cultural village via the escalators.

An amazingly huge area with fantastic restaurants and views to make you feel like out of the blue spot from Qatar... A must visit spot without fail

    - beautiful place with a mosque, pigeon towers, Roman theatre, dancing water fountain with fire, upscale supermarket, the biggest natural flower bouquet, children's museum, cafés and restaurants. There is a park uphill that's great for walking.

A little glimpse into the local architecture couldn’t be any better than this. Beautiful buildings, an amazing and luxury mall and the surroundings view that amazes everyone. Don’t miss the opportunity to give it a check while touristing Doha. Amazing!
