Our first time at the office was a great experience they offered us drinks and snacks. It was a small reception area, there was a reception area with a television, some informational magazines to read. The service was good as far as the receptionist very polite and courteous. The evaluation process was a bit long as far as getting paperwork back from the doctor, but patience is a virtue and I believe in divine timing, so I wasn’t in a crazy rush, but I feel I could’ve been faster. The therapist were really awesome my son love them, and I feel like they connected with him and he felt free to express his feelings to them and hey, that’s all we really want our children to do be able to express their feelings and be able to gain some type of feedback to help them through their situation. I also attended therapy and I had a really really great experience with the therapist. Who’s name is Precious she definitely knows her stuff. They also have a PRP program where your child can get a mentor and they take them places to have fun and just be children it gives parents like me who have a child diagnosed with autism/ADHD a break without having to worry if they’re in good hands or not. They have a summer camp program for the children three days a week. So that’s cool now having to pay for summer camp and we know summer camp in Baltimore is freaking expensive. This is a really great place I feel despite a lot of the negative comments that we have on this thread, but I feel all companies can use some type of improvement in the ways things function around the office, and in business, Lord knows I do because I’ve run three businesses myself, and things come up and it causes delays but all we can do is just be patient with those things occur because we’re all human. All you can do is give them a try. It's a well-known fact that sometimes clients may take out their frustrations on an establishment by writing a negative review, even if the issue they experienced had nothing to do with the quality of service or products provided. Such behavior can stem from a variety of triggers, including a bad day at work, personal issues, or even unrelated incidents that have nothing to do with the establishment itself. In some cases, reaching out to the client and offering to resolve the issue can help turn a negative review into a positive one. However, it's also important to recognize that some clients may be unwilling to change their review, even after their initial frustration has passed. Try it. I hope it works out for whoever is reading this and whoever is reading this. I hope you have an amazing super great inspiring day.

this practice is so helpful. I know it’s hard dealing with mentally ill patients so I always keep that in mind when reading reviews, but this practice has been nothing but helpful to me. I finally found a therapist I love and i’m finally on medication that works. huge shout out to the staff at KTS ❤️

I was initially a patient at Kts seeing Shanntell, there were constant scheduling conflicts, despite having a standing appointment. They would reschedule or cancel appointments with no communication. My therapist left the practice and I was not even notified by the office. They only contacted me months later to aggressively question me about whether I was still seeing Shanntell outside of the practice, which I was not. I left the practice and was later contacted by Charmaine. She invited me back to the practice, assuring me that the experience would be different, as they are now under new management with new therapists. To be honest, the experience has been essentially the same as the last, the only bright spot being my therapist Keyya. She has been incredibly professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Despite the wonderful experience with Keyya, appointment’s have been canceled with no notification, or very little notice. I have also been seeing a Nurse Practitioner Faith Aregbesola. I find her to be condescending, dismissive and rude. The management staff has not been helpful at all. Quite honestly I would leave the practice again if I didn’t love the sessions with Keyya.

**WARNING DOLLAR GENERAL THERAPY************I took my son to the Thurmont location. Maybe four times. He seemed to like the gentleman they had. My first impression was not good. The building is just an old store front. No reception area… a divider separating the “office” from the rest of the open space for anyone to come into your session. They never did a normal intake appointment, like I’ve experienced with other organizations. Then after maybe a handful of times of taking my son to talk, I was told the therapist was leaving and we would have to wait for another one to replace him. Then I received a email this past weekend from someone I’ve never heard of, apparently from KTS, with an intake packet for me to fill out. Very unprofessional and will not be returning. I will take any concerns to a more reputable organization that actually has legitimate therapist who know what is going on. When I brought up things about adhd, that I have learned thru my older sons therapy it was like the guy didn’t even know what I was talking about and was told he couldn’t even diagnose adhd and doesn’t know why??? I could be a therapist at this place for Pete’s sake! I have heard of similar experiences at the Thurmont location. High turnover rate! I’m assuming not a good company to work for! Take your children somewhere else!

Terrible reception. No one reaches out for appointment cancelations. My calls get ignored and I receive no call back. This facility is awful and I'm doing everything in my power to see a different prescriber Edit, they didn't close my insurance authorization like they are supposed to and I had no way of knowing until my new provider got denied This place is still awful, mismanaged, disgustingly overwhelming to deal with Miserable service They have made my life significantly worse
