This is the worst Target I have ever experienced. I have worked here in a leadership capacity and have been a guest... the experience is still dreadful at best. I hate this place. I hope it closes.

Please shut this store down! See pictures. This might be the worst Target in the area. I'm angry that I accidentally navigated to this store instead of the one towards Ellicott City. Even if the store was clean, it's stock is terrible compared to Targets in high-income areas.

This store used to be my favorite Target as shelves were well stocked and employees were friendlier, however that has changed in recent times, mainly bc the prices on the shelves are often cheaper than at checkout. On more than one occasion I have picked up something thinking it was one price only to get to the register and find that it costs more.. It's hard to find certain items, but I'm sure that has more to do with the pandemic and shortages than this particular store itself. The cashiers are okay, but I prefer to go to self-checkout, however those lines are usually so long and there are only four self-checkout registers. Overall, if you need to grab a few items, go to this location, but if you want an overall better experience and be able to find the items that you're looking for, find another location.

I have lung cancer and need to ride a motorized cart when I’m in your store. Today was an awful day for me the disabled. I had to get three different scooters during my shopping trip because of lack of power in them. They all shut off on me leaving stuck in the middle of the floor in the rear of the store. Then when trying to exit the store it could not get me to the main door to get my ride. I was so embarrassed blocking other shoppers and employees from their travels. The only good thing I can say is that the employees were extremely helpful. If someone looks at the cameras you will see plus I almost fell trying to get from scooter in store to my walker my daughter had to bring inside. Frazzled!!!

Each agent I interacted with was helpful and genuinely interested in being thoughtful. Care and pride in their job was evident. My check-out agent was especially delightful as I was given 30% off for asking about the holiday items that weren’t included in the sale. I love that agents are able to do this on their own, without needing a manager’s approval. As a seasoned service provider I understand how much training it takes to keep and empower staff. This Target has done it beautifully.

This store is full of chaos! It was like walking into a Walmart that’s a mess. I will never return to this store. Only went because I wanted Starbucks and that’s a whole different story 🙄 what’s up with certain Starbucks not keeping it clean and taking forever to prepare drinks when it’s not even busy. Also stop putting your hands on top of people’s cup

This is absolutely the worst Target in the Baltimore area and could probably compete for worst in the country. It seems like the main problem is the backlog and disorganization due to the popularity of the "drive up" option. There are carts filled to the brim with drive up orders strewn all over the front of the store--leaving no carts for in-store customers. They are low in merchandise in almost every section. Stocking is not a priority as carts filled with go-back items and other random merchandise line every aisle also. Someone needs to come in and help management get things in to order. You will not get your intended "target experience" if you go here.

Lazy pick up service . I work from home so curbside pick up is best for me time after time my items get cancelled. I use my hsa card and have to wait days for the refund! So I went to get items and went into the store because they cancelled the cheese when I went into the section the cheese they cancelled was stacked up ! This means they were just too lazy the girl who rung me up said if it’s not in the place it’s supposed to be they cancell it . However everything was in the section as I found it easily this means they didn’t even bother too look ! Also I was left in curbside for a hour when it rained if that’s not offered in that weather y’all should tell someone no call or nothing just left me outside until a staff saw me and then said oh sorry we don’t come out in the rain ! Oh so why didn’t the app say that just says wait from someone to bring out don’t y’all get an alert when customers are out for pick up but the app says please wait for someone to bring out so neither that app should say it or pick up should have called me and it was just rain not a storm that’s what rain coats are for sure y’all company can afford them

Why would the hours posted on the store say open till 11 pm on Friday and Saturday if you close at 10pm.. if hours were reduced for Covid it would stand to reason that when that was over you’d go back to regular hours or at a minimum update the posted hours on your front door so people know

One of the worse Targets I know. Highly unorganized, employee carts always in the way. I’ve been to other Targets, clearly no one cares about this Target it’s always empty shelves. St.John target, Towson target look way more organized and it’s a shame!

Great help, inexpensive but high quality products. Clean, organized pretty well. I especially like to buy Peets coffee, less money than the other stores, and still always fresh. Thanks, Target

I am so disappointment with this Target. It used to be my go to place for staples. Recently, its always overcrowded, parking is a pain and often full of litter, stocks are lacking and selection is meager, staff are rude and busy socializing, staples are now so overpriced, with never the correct price marked on the shelves so they scan differently. When you go to the registered you have to waste time battling it out with the cashier or customer service, and when you ask staff why prices don’t match, they say “its above my pay grade”. This is not the way to gain customers. Too bad they have a bit of a monopoly in Pikesville.

I have never waited as long as I did yesterday. Two associates walked past me at least three times. The young lady that was tending to someone stated that she would be with me shortly which I appreciated because she seemed to be the only one who realized that I wasn't invisible. She eventually had to ask one of the associates who walked past me already to help me. Target overall is a great store. and also just to be clear this was the Pikesville location

The absolute worst Target to do store pick up/drive up at. The wait time is almost 20 minutes or more. I always get the wrong item (size, color, brand, quality, etc.) The drive up employees are even taught the unethical practice of asking you to generate a new drive up code after you have been waiting forever, just so they can pad their response time and make it appear that you just arrived.

Target in Pikesville Customer Service is horrible. Hardly anyone at the customer service counter and when it is there's only one person with attitude. This is the closest store to me but I've started traveling further to different Target for better service.

I stopped in today for one item and left with six. LOL. The store was clean, orderly and had a ton of new interesting items. Friendly staff and quick self checkout are a definite plus.

I was standing in the checkout line for 10 minutes with a woman in front of me in line. The woman in front of me is told the line is closed and we need to go to another line. Meanwhile the register light is on stating its open. We get in the next line. The cashier is rude, looks like she is half asleep and acts like she doesn't want to be there. Customer service has gone down drastically. I felt like I was at Walmart.

Hey Target, maybe if your employees didn’t slam and throw my groceries into my trunk, and leave half of my order in the store, you wouldn’t have to give me a refund and I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips to get the same items. This happens 40% of the time when I do drive up orders from your store. If I didn’t have multiple sclerosis and was able to walk your store myself, I would never order pick up again. I spend a lot of money here, as unfortunately it is what is close to me and has the things I need on a regular basis. I wonder if your employees treat and pick their own groceries the way they do mine.

These people do not do their job. I ordered a drive up order and it wasn’t ready within two hours. So I called after 3 hours and no one answered the phone at any of the departments regardless of the option I choose. I wanted to speak with a manager in regards but I couldn’t do that because no one answered the phones.

  • 5/5 Re M. 2 years ago on Google
Always great! We do drive up orders and they are always ready before the 2 hours and always complete. Pickup is smooth and I appreciate the fast and friendly service. Ordered from " other store with the W" and orders are always incomplete, substitutions that are not related and take forever to pickup. So we stick to Target. Thank you for making this pandemic a little less stressful.

I watched a lady grab a pair of shoes try them on and than stick them in her purse and was going for more till she seen me I watched make her to the front of the store and I seen The security guard I informed him of what she looked like and what she did and pointed her out when she started walking towards the door he said thank you so I started walking away so I didn’t get in the way of him stopping her but he just stood there and didn’t even say a word to her🤦🏻‍♀️ This is why people keep on stealing and to the cost of Goods keep going up because stores need to recuperate their losses also for employees that let people go without saying anything are Costing themselves higher pay as well so stores can recuperate the losses of the theft. I won’t be shopping at a place that would allow this

I travel a lot and usually end up needing something from Target along the way. I’ve been in dozens and dozens of targets across the country and this one is probably the worst. The store is understocked and disorganized in every department. The employees I encountered were straight up mean. The cashier was rude to everyone I saw go through her line. Two stars because it’s Target and it had 1/2 of the items I came for.

  • 5/5 Bella M. 11 months ago on Google
Love target 🎯 always clean as usual my only problem is their prices are not competitive & the Reps do not possess good customer service skills. With the exception of the young Man working in self checkout he was remarkable. I still give a 5 star ⭐️ for the neatness and cleanliness of the pikesville store.

  • 1/5 JoAnne M. 10 months ago on Google
Visit to Pikesville store was very disappointing- I normally don't shop this location but it was convenient today. Long wait for return and only 1 person who was away from his register for extended period of time; store was disorganized with boxes and carts of merchandise in several departments so I couldn't reach shelves (or even see) products I was looking for. Not many staff visible; unusually poor shopping experience compared to Columbia and Elliott City stores that are welcoming, clean and shelves stocked.

  • 1/5 Sa D. 2 years ago on Google
Unfortunately they're serious issues with prices being correct in the store and appropriate customer service. I made several attempts to notify the store that they just have a lot of incorrect prices. They do not try to correct it and blatantly told me they don't have to. I contacted customer service just to ask them what is the policy. I learned that the policy is that they give the management the freedom to make those decisions. They are free to do that. I don't agree with it and I personally am choosing not to shop there anymore. I'm just one of many people but I like what I like and I did not like that policy so what deal with it. I know the pandemic has been rough and a lot of people especially retail and other essential workers. I am one myself. It's not an excuse to stop caring.

I used the drive up service. I arrived way earlier than expected as I forgot to indicate in the app that I was on my way. The staff was friendly and told me to way a few minutes. I think I stayed for 6 minutes in total, seriously. Super fast and convenient!

Zay at the customer service desk was awesome. Thus is the second time this young man has helped me so friendly and professional. Some of the other employees could learn from him.

Clean, friendly, and efficient. No hassle returns at this location. & this location is way more organized I can find things easily. Incredible staff. And the guy and girl at customer service for returns were nice and greeted me as soon as I walked up.

I love shopping at target because I can find good items and clothing on sale. But customer service was good. Some people say target customer service is bad, but every time I go, I never have a bad experience. Good customer service.

Great location! Great service! Great stability! We have shopped there for over 5 years. Pricing and product availability is very good.

This target NEVER has cart or baskets and then you walk around the store and it’s carts full of inventory they don’t care if you’re standing there cartless either. The pass 2 months I’ve been doing Shipt orders here and it has been the worse the employees don’t even know where anything is located.

The bathrooms smelled bad but other than that the store was pretty clean and organized. Everything was easy to find and the lines were short too.

I wish I had taken the time to take more photos. I LOVE Target stores. THIS WAS TO WORST one I have ever been too. The women's clothing department looked worse than a garage sale table. More clothes on the floor than on tables/racks. I was shocked at how many isles were in complete disarray.

  • 3/5 Audra K. 1 year ago on Google
The store is well stocked and organized, although the layout is completely different from the other stores in the area. I found the bathroom to be less than clean (but better than Walmart), they also seemed to have all of their staff stocking shelves and almost no one on registers. It wasn’t horrible, but not the best.

  • 5/5 Belinda L. 1 year ago on Google
I gave this target 5 stars because of the cashier named Twon. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about the product I bought which was an accessory for iPhones . He knew the store policies and his customer service was excellent. He greeted me and engaged in conversation. I like that .

  • 2/5 Nicole M. 1 year ago on Google
They gave me a broken product and then made me walk through the store to find a replacement… if I wanted to walk through the store I wouldn’t have done pickup. There also wasn’t a replacement available.

Most of the employees are friendly, fresh food department is usually well stocked, and I can usually find what I am looking for. However, do not wait until the last minute to get school supplies or holiday gifts the store was ransacked two weeks before Baltimore County schools reopened in 2021.

Yes this is a Target, but they had AT&T employees working there who approached me in the electronic department who tried to scam me and offered me a FREE phone and cheaper service at $55 a month. It would be the latest and greatest phone from Samsung for free! Telling me there is absolutely no catch and the phone would be completely free for joining AT&T. They said I just came at the right time for this one day deal and I'm so lucky to get a free phone! After an hour of taking pics of my ID and taking my social security, job information, addresses, e-mail, phone number, signature, going through my phone to transfer my service, telling T-Mobile I want to leave them, etc, they decided that I have to pay $75 in tax!! I said okay, that is still worth it I guess, I will still get cheaper service and free phone. But then later on they say I have to pay $400 for the phone and charge MORE in monthly service at $67 a month, not $55! They flat out took all my information and lied about the whole thing being free and cheaper monthly payments. The male representative also became clearly frustrated that I would possibly say no to their scam-my offer as if I was the bad guy after they just flat out lied and tricked me. I will avoid all AT&T services and now feel less comfortable about shopping at Target, especially this one. I hope to never see AT&T employees there again. I then tried to call this Target the next day to complain and this Target doesn't answer the phone. It doesn't matter what department you call, they outright don't answer.

This is a very messy Target store, disorganized, lots of empty shelves. Prices are high. The handicap motorized carts are far from the entrance, no room to reach the plug, and mine ran out of power in the middle of the parking lot!

I actually wish I could give this target -100 stars because that’s how bad my experience was. I live in Potomac so I’m use to the targets near my home and it’s nothing like this. Usually my target drive up experience is nice. If there is a bit of a wait they will tell me. This target made me wait over an hour even after I went inside after 20 mins of waiting in my car. There was no professionalism and I eventually left and never got my order. I will not go back ever. I will just let it come back to my card because that was god awful. I see why no one wants to come to the target 🎯

Where do I start I’ve been working here undercover for only about 2 weeks. Sad to say there’s no structure more woman in management then men. Woman who are rude curses at people and feel like they’re entitled. The woman are lazy and get the men to do everything which isn’t right you signed up for the job just like me. Learn how to talk to people stop being rude and disrespectful to people and when they say something back you get mad. Stop hiring people who doesn’t have leadership skills and communication also common sense. People are lazy and it starts with managers hopefully things will get better because it’s getting worst and worst. Why do managers feel like they can hold you accountable for work that’s impossible to get done within 5 hours stop keeping workers after they scheduled shift threatening to write them up because they scheduled to leave. Stop being lazy managers maya tae whatever her name is and the one that sit on the computer all day doing nothing pitiful
