Easy location and a good amount of options. Grab coffee or something more like sandwiches and soups. There’s plenty to choose from. I preferred the Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich. While I waited, I also picked up some sweets from the display. Everything tasted good and the Hot Chocolate was great on such a cold day. Thank you!

Great place for a cup of coffee, a casual business meeting or snack with a friend. The food is delicious. The coffee is strong and the service is wonderful. Plenty of parking and seating - both indoors and out

Fantastic service and wonderful food. The turkey powerhouse sandwich is really good, esp the feta and spinach focaccia. My wife had the yogurt with their homemade honey Granola. We will be back for sure to explore more of the menu. Great stuff guys

We stopped in while on our way to Virginia. We were very impressed with this place. The place is deceptively large. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is inside seating as well as a nice shaded outdoor place. The food and coffee were excellent! We had a couple of bakery items, egg sandwiches, and dark chocolate mochas. Everything was delicious! We would certainly return.

This place has come along way since I worked here, over 20 years ago, but they still have their same famous nonfat vegetable soup, which might sound boring, but it’s actually not. It was actually my favorite thing to make when I worked there, because I was vegetarian at the time. Now I’m vegan, and the options are much better. This is my first time back in over 20 years, and now they’ve got a gorgeous outdoor space also. Unfortunately I wound up there in the middle of a toddler birthday party, but that’s the luck of the draw. Tiny bit pricey, but I’m not mad about it.

I'm always so confused by this place. It's incredibly expensive but usually just average to disappointing in terms of food flavor and quality. On our most recent trip we grabbed 2 small hot chocolates to the tune of $12 and our hot chocolate was full of chocolate slime. The picture below is what I strained out of the bottom third of my cup. My child wouldn't even touch theirs because they were so grossed out. If they weren't so close to our pediatrician's office, I don't think we would ever want to spend money there.

My husband and I stopped in this morning for the first time while visiting the area. I have to say they deserve a 5 star rating. The huge biscuits were the best I have ever had, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Same for the French baguette. The breakfast sandwich made with the biscuit was very generous, delicious, made to order. The coffee was hot and fresh. In my opinion, the food, although not inexpensive was worth the price based on size, quality, atmosphere and service. The owner treated us as if we were patrons. I am a foodie, cook,/+bake frequently and have travelled extensively for my business. For those who appreciate fine food, this is the place! It is nice to see an owner take so much pride in their business.

Came here for the non chain experience, but certainly not the best food for price place. Red flags caught my eye when I noticed trash bags by the grill in one of the kitchen areas in plain view of the public. Had ordered a lemonade and the glass had sticky dried ketchup I assume on the outside and we had already taken some sips from it. Had them replace the drink. Their Ella sandwich was ok, not a fan of the upside down toasted slice. The chicken satay wrap was more non fresh fillers than chicken. The iced coffee my SO ordered had a funky taste, not sure if the ice machine was unclean or their coffee/sweetener was not fresh. Also, $10 for a simple grilled cheese? Spent over $50, didn’t feel like we got what we paid. Just go to Joey Chins that is next door.

I stopped by to get a coffee to go, regular coffee, (as always I added inly cream) and then few min after I started to feel bad... I really didn't eat or drink anything different than this coffee, it completely messed me up. I don't know what this coffee has or how is brewed but it got me sick... after 4 hrs I'm still kinda messed up. It could be that this just happened to me, but I am a coffee drinker, I drink about 5 cups of coffee a day, and that doesn't make me feel bad. This feels like I drunk 10 coffee cups in less than an hour. I'm not saying this place is good or bad, I'm just telling the coffee really got me sick. :( Not coming again...

We had the skinny burrito and a Western omelette with biscuit, both delicious. And the hot chocolate, OMG! Truly the BEST EVER! Service was excellent and the decor, very warm and inviting. Shoot our to Chris at the register. He's been there for many years, super friendly and helpful. Won't be nearly so long till we're back again.

This was my first time here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the burritos and they were just ok. I needed to add salt and pepper which I typically do not add to my food. With that said, I would definitely come back to try other breakfast dishes. I also ordered pastries to go and cant wait to try them. I saw some freshly made soups that looked delicious.

For the full experience at Stone Mill bakery, be prepared to flaunt your Botox injections, sweater vests, comb overs, fancy car, ivy League apparel, or other designer clothing. And bring a full wallet.

Delicious little gem of a place. The menu of sandwiches and treats is varied and tasty. Coffee was good, too. Service was attentive. No other cafe within miles, so this location will become a go-to.

I frequent this bakery often for their quality coffee, tea and sandwiches. More than anything else, though, their service is top notch. These days it’s hard to find someone who cares about service, about being friendly or helpful. Stone Mill management and employees seem to enjoy their work and the food shows that. They cook with love. The pastries taste like it too.

The food and coffee were excellent. I had eggs over easy. They were cooked just right. I got the chicken sausage patties. Two come with the order. Also included a side of tasty small chunky cut potatoes. I also got a muffin. It was excellent, but I didn't realize it was an upcharge. They do include some kind of artisan bread, but I asked about the muffin. It's really big and delicious, but had I know it was a $5 upcharge, which surprised me when I got the bill, I probably would have just taken the bread. My wife got an egg sandwich on a croissant with the chicken sausage patties. She also got potatoes. She took half the sandwich home. It was very large. She also enjoyed her breakfast. We had to wait for coffee refills, which irked me a little. The place wasn't that crowded. Still, overall a great place. The only caveat is expect to pay top dollar. It's expensive but worth it. Although I certainly couldn't afford to make it a regular breakfast outing. Wish I could.

My absolute favorite place to eat for the last 20 years. Staff is out-of-this-world incredible. Amazing to see the same friendly faces for decades. The food could not get better!

My husband and I have enjoyed supporting this place since we were dating! For us the drive is not short but it is worth it for the very best breakfast and lunch in the area! The staff is warm and knowledgeable, the atmosphere casual and comfortable and the food is impeccable. Everything is made and ingredients selected with such care, down to the tea selection. Lastly, I rarely leave without taking something from the bakery, delectable!

Very nice spot for a casual conversation. Grabbed some iced tea and cookies. Everything was delicious. Service was above and beyond. Thanks.

I think that’s an excellent place to dine or to order carry out, but the prices just make it impossible for me to give them a full five stars. The service is fabulous too! Still, the prices are not proportional to the products.

I love the customer service and people, however the food is not worth the cost AT ALL.. I use to love it here but I find they are giving lil to no meat. The Quesadilla was the worst I ever had I thought maybe it came with green peppers and onions it was nothing but she’s two pieces of meat all cheese. TO EXPENSIVE for such lil food. It was four pieces one had no meat and the rest had two. SO DISAPPOINTED

What a surprise. The blueberry pie which was a hard decision over the eclair creation but an extremely good choice. The breakfast biscuit with egg, cheese and chicken sausage was incredible. Combine this with a serene outdoor seating and I was jealous that we do not have one here in Delaware. The icing on the top was the incredible southern hospitality of the staff. Can't wait to come back.

We were in town for a doctors appointment and needed some place to eat before heading back. It’s in a convenient location by the offices. The staff is super friendly, and the owner is very personable! The food was so good! We sat outside by the garden, it’s a beautiful view!
