First of all, I’m a full-on carnivore…however, the vegan dishes at Oak were absolutely delicious! Quirky interiors, great service, very interesting wine pairings and food to die for! The highlight by far was the smoked celeriac and apple soup - such an interesting flavour profile and absolutely delightful. The leeks and the artichokes were also exceptionally good. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I may have had one of the best meals of my life today. Every. Single. Dish. Every one was perfect. Well balanced. This was a totally unexpected experience when it comes to the quality and flavor profiles. My only criticism, which now feels somewhat petty given the culinary experience, is they don’t do the five course meal option for single diners (it is meant for two or more). So, I created my own and they adjusted the bill and portion sizes accordingly. This was a pleasant surprise and I am glad they did because I would have felt awful to waste any of it. This place is a gem. Eat here. You wil not regret it.

A very cozy little vegetarian and vegan restaurant with mainly local produce. They have a set three course lunch menu and a five course set dinner menu as well as a la carte. Service is very friendly and attentive, the venue very cozy and relaxed. We came for lunch and had a beautiful caramelised cauliflower soup, radicchio with beetroot, broccoli sprouts on flat bread, potato terrine and the favourite; smoked ricotta pasta. It was a wow factor. The dessert selection was lovely with fun flavours. We went for the custard pie with nutmeg ice-cream and the chocolate ganache with sourdough ice cream. Both delicious. Oh, and the home made sourdough focaccia was a dream. A must when in Bath!

A very enjoyable dining experience. Staff are incredibly friendly and the dishes are so interesting and come quickly. The atmosphere feels relaxed. My friend and I couldn't stop talking about what we were eating, as the flavours were unique. Their homemade bread is delicious. The menu is constantly changing but we tried the purple sprouting, potato ravioli, mung bean fritters with chutney and chicory with blood orange. After enjoying our meal we decided to go for dessert as well. It's a shame because these were definitely not as nice as the main! The chocolate gnash was incredibly salty. Would have been happier to have skipped dessert. Overral a great evening and experience but I'll be sticking to the savoury courses.

Very lovely place situated in a small street with a lovely atmosphere. It was perfect for our week end dinner in Bath. The food is really tasty and lovely served by knowledgeable waitresses. We definitely recommend this place for food lovers!

I walked by Oak a few times and I was always skeptical but a friend suggested we visit spontaneously and I’m so glad we did! I found the staff to be so caring in a very subtle way without being overwhelming at all. The food was mind-blowing. TMI but I didn’t brush my teeth that evening because I wanted to keep the taste of the charred asparagus for as long as I can! The coffee was great and I asked for something for a replacement for the ice cream for dessert (it had alcohol and I’m pregnant) and it was a breeze to replace and was paired very nicely with something else! Overall a great experience and we’ll be back for sure!

My boyfriend and I have been traveling in the UK and Europe over the past couple of months and Oak has been one of our favorite restaurants yet. All of the plates we had were absolutely delicious with unique flavor combinations coming through. The chickpea fries were top-tier!

Absolutely incredible from start to finish! I’ve walked past this restaurant a huge amount as I live in Bath but had never thought of going in, and I’m so glad I did. Lovely staff who greeted my mum and I and looked after us throughout the meal. The sparkling Sauvignon was very light and refreshing to compliment all of the dishes. We had a plethora of dishes as they recommend two to three each and each one was just as beautiful as the previous. Even the garden salad, from their kitchen garden, was to die for. I would and have thoroughly recommended this to friends and family to try, vegetarian or not!

Came here for Valentine's Day with my partner. Very alert to allergies and dietary requirements. Delightful service. Food came so rapidly. Its small plates that come whenever they're ready and as soon as we finished one plate another came. It was pretty spectacular. Food was very good, though maybe felt ever so slightly priced too highly but there is a premium for the sourcing of ingredients they use. Really enjoyed it, would recommend checking out, certainly if you're vegetarian.

Beautiful cosy place for veggie small plates. The staff and atmosphere were so inviting and warm. The pumpkin arancini Was incredible. The artichokes were flavoured well but were a bit overcooked. Also recommend the homemade bread to start.

This is a really very, very good restaurant. The intimate interior and beautiful, timeless decor create an illusion of dining virtually in these guys’ home, and the passionate, caring and committed team build on that. The food is simply joyful. Three of us shared pretty much one of each small plate - which are really not so small, and it was honestly top notch. Dinner for three, including two glasses of very decent wine, came in at about £80, which for this standard of vegetarian cooking seemed like a bargain. Boof!

We were looking for a light bite, and stumbled across Oak. I’ve never been to a vegetarian restaurant before and only went here by accident but what a result. The flavours, textures and choice along with the excellent selection of wines, blew my mind. If you enjoy food, then I’d recommend in a heartbeat.

Lovely restaurant, quality food and a warm welcome from Ali (thank you). Small plates of food which add-up in cost plus service charge but we loved the delicious and quality vegetarian dishes very much. We will be back to try more food and to feel looked after by the caring service you provide. So delicious, we recommend the lovely food and service, you will loved it! Thank you, Oak Restaurant, Lyndon & Peter.

Fantastic vegan restaurant with so much character. It was very classy, we picked the vegan five course meal with wine pairings. Each dish was creative and the waitress gave a bit of background to each wine too. Flavours were amazing and new for me. Overall a very special night.

Cute little place. Small portions and London prices but worth it if you like to try new things (we are not vegetarians). The bread and the artichokes were delicious. The ravioli were good too. Not a fan of the cauliflower stew and the cabbage (plus, the latter was messy to eat). The salad was quite meh. You'll need 2 1/2 or 3 plates per person. For parents: There is no nappy changing table but I'm not sure one would fit even if they tried, the bathrooms are tiny.

Had a lovely all vegetarian dinner here. They catered for vegan restrictions no problem as well. Space is a bit tight, but otherwise very atmospheric with lots of candles glowing and natural decorations. Service was quick and very attentive.

Absolutely amazing food and wonderful service. Unfortunately I do not live in Bath but I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Everything was incredibly flavorful and very interesting combination of ingredients.

Certainly one of the best restaurants with amazing vegan dishes that I’ve had throughout my foodie adventure. Great ethics of the owners (do check out their IG), attentive staff, nice and cosy atmosphere, beautiful platings, creative and delicious dishes! What could I ask more?

I was recommended this place by a friend who took her parents to here for a graduation dinner. Weirdly ad a result I expected it to be a bit posh and was worried that turning up in shorts, a t-shirt and trainers would not be suitable but it is not that kind of establishment which I was grateful for. The staff are really friendly and I think offered me the only table left as everything else had been reserved. The server explained the menu and I asked for any recommendations some of which I ended up ordering. It's very much a sharing plates kind of restaurant. So order 2-3 per person and if there's enough of you just order one of everything so that you get to go through the menu. I ordered the beetroot tartare, Jersey potatoes and the charred courgettes. The latter two were recommended the former I wanted to try. I can say that rhe beetroot tartare was my least favourite. It comes with a smoked almond cream and the smokiness is overbearing at least for my liking. I lived the Jersey potatoes and the charred courgettes both if which I'd happily order again. If I'm ever in Bath again I will be paying a visit.

Lovely plant based restaurant in the middle of Bath. It is one of the very few that offers plant based food in that area. The service and the presentation were great. They forgot to add a little candle on the dessert I ordered for my partner's birthday, even though I requested it a day before and personally asked the waiter a second time when I arrived at the restaurant. But it happens... We opted for the "feast menu", it was incredibly rich and the dishes were nicely thought through. We loved every dish that was served on the table. Don't be fooled by the portions, they look small but they will fill you up before you know it. Would recommend if you're in Bath.

Outstanding gem of a restaurant we came across quite randomly. After a string of meals that mostly involved bread and meat, we were eager to find something with vegetables -- enter Oak. Service, vibes, and food were all excellent, prices reasonable, and portions generous -- we're two bigger guys who ordered 7 dishes and were extremely satisfied, and we eat more than most. Standout dishes: ravioli (amazing, pictured), the bread was amazing, the artichokes, the beetroot pate, and the squash flatbread...but honestly, every dish we got was excellent.
