I love this jewellery shop as it offers a variety of styles. Unlike many other jewellery shop it has unique designs that make you feel special when you wear them. I have over the years accumulated several pieces including watches and earrings. Have nothing to complain about. Yes some of the prices reflect the design but you do pay for what you get and I love every single piece.

We commissioned Smile Mantella to create bespoke wedding rings for us and he did an AMAZING job, creating unique couture designs by adapting my Grandmother's Art Deco engagement ring into a stunning, bold piece, and my husband's ring from his own idea. Mantella added his own artistic flair, and incredible problem-solving skills to both pieces, turning our 2D drawings into 3D sculptures for our hands! We couldn't be more delighted with the results (and we are seriously hard to please!) He's a hidden gem.

I wanted to send my sister a gift but have not yet been to any shops since lock down. Mantella could not have been more helpful. They sent me photos on WhatsApp so I could select just what I wanted , said they would post the gift for me, wrote out a message from me, wrapped the gift And took it to the post office to be sent by special delivery. They have just phoned to let me know when the parcel will arrive. We have used this shop many times in the past and have always been impressed with the service provided. Their service today was exceptional and I would highly recommend This business.

Not a great experience. Always chasing them for updates, made me feel like they were doing me a favour even though they took things upon themselves. Was going to design a piece of jewellery with them but abandoned the idea after it took ages and then the design produced was not what I’d asked for. They made me feel uncomfortable every time I was in the shop, not friendly or welcoming to my children, even though there was never anyone in the shop. Sold me sapphire earrings which they said were grade A but think they are grade B. Very weird vibe. Won’t return.

I had such a good experience buying from G. Mantella! Really looking forward to showing off my new bit bracelet, I was looking for the perfect subtle bracelet to showcase my love for horses and I fell in love with this design. Baran was incredibly helpful at all times and I will definitely be shopping here again!

Brilliant service and a beautiful shop. I went in to get a necklace engraved and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. I needed it for a specific date and they went above and beyond to get it done for me. The service I received was brilliant and great communication via WhatsApp to triple check the final wording and timing. Went to G Mantella with 2 pieces of both my parents jewellery my mums eternity ring and my dads gold medallion. I wanted to make it into 1 ring.. with no idea how it could be done or if it could be done Smile sat with me for over an hour and went through a couple of options, there was no rushing to hurry me up and move onto the next customer. When I collected the finished ring I was absolutely shocked at the amazing ring. Totally overwhelmed! It’s absolutely stunning! Will defo be going back

I had some vague ideas for a custom necklace for my mum's birthday. Smile (the Jeweller) blended these to come up with a fantastic design, patiently advised on the gemstone and created an incredibly elegant piece that my mum simply loves. I don't hesitate in recommending them.

We were very sad when G Mantella closed in Palmers Green as we had always found both their stock and their customer service excellent and regularly bought items there over many years to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries and as gifts for family and friends.We were delighted to read on line that the business was reopening in Barnet so off we went two weeks ago so my husband could buy me something for our Golden Wedding. When we arrived we thought the shop had not yet opened.Despite the ongoing refitting of the new shop, Smile (the jeweller) saw us looking at the boards still covering the windows and went out of his way to help us by showing us beautiful items on line while we drank the delicious coffee he offered us. He also sent more examples to our emails. When we returned to the shop a few days later I was able to try on the items my husband had chosen, which were absolutely beautiful but needed slight alteration.Smile promised to get the jewellery to us before we left London for a family reunion which he duly did by delivering it direct to our home, having kept us fully informed of his progress in obtaining the items and completing the work on them. As has always been our experience with G Mantella, Smile offered beautiful items of jewellery and outstanding customer service. We are so happy that he still has his jewellery business so we can continue to visit and would encourage other customers to make the short journey to the new shop inBarnet; there is a direct bus route fromPalmers Green and Parking at The Spires is easy. PS Smile also polished and made secure a gold cross (which had seen better days) recently left to me by a much loved aunt, and showed me a selection of chains to choose from.
