Rude staff We were queuing up waiting to be served we went over to the till too early so the staff member sent us back to queue up again. We queued up again and were shouted at by the same staff member from across the shop she accused us of ‘skipping the queue’ and sent us to the back again. The people that were stood behind us said we could go before them as we were there first anyways. However the rude member of staff was insistent in us going to the back of the queue. The area where customers are required to queue up is not clearly labelled - and we don’t go to stax often so we wouldn’t have known how the queueing system works. Poor customer service. This incident was humiliating and embarrassing as both surrounding staff and customers could hear the woman shouting at us. The member of staff should be ashamed.

Very stuck up atmosphere from a bunch of old hags. I get the sense they look down on you the second you walk through the door. If I could rate less than 1, I would.

nice to see that the management team are writing their own good reviews as i was in stax yesterday and only a handful of people knew what they talking about and the rest do not some of the checkout staff have faces on them like a bulldog that swallowed a bee and are very rude some of the department managers are short when you ask them questions will not be going this place again id rather go somewhere else and pay a little bit extra

We used to always go to stax for tools for my hubbys business. Tools and stuff are fine and still cheap but you want anything else don't bother you can get them cheaper at b and m or home bargins.

The worst Customer service I've ever seen in the UK I hate the place they seen to be very rude or racistThey hardly smile They give you the feeling that they are doing you a favour by letting you shop at their place and I've heard that from alot of my frends who used to shop at that place

14/05/23: went again today for some brown silicone. Came out with an 8ft length of drain, elbows and brackets. ....go in for one thing, come out with 50 things, due to impulse buying! It's like B&M for DIY'ers!

One of the MAJOR highlights of the STAX experience is Debbie's Cafe. A great cup of tea and really good food. Disappointingly, the wholesaler is open until 8? The Cafe closed 6 hours earlier, they only serve now a really dried up breakfast anyway 🤮

I was at Stax Worsley Manchester today and would like to thank Paul from Tools section for help and advise. Paul explained everything to me, professionally answered all my questions. I hope all the staff have the same positive attitude.

Was not to busy, lots of product's to choose from like garden product's, lighting, toilets, or a complete kitchen. Just make sure you read the prices as they don't include vat. It has a really cheap cafe inside with a good menu and a choice of hot and cold drinks. The only problem it the pallets on the floor you have to dodge round. The car park is big but this can get very full when there is a trade show on. You have to have a business to go in and also a stax account. Overall its a good place to go to.

Arrived for a pre booked kitchen app with my new born baby. Unfortunately was not allowed onto the premises as children are not allowed. This is fine however it would help if a disclaimer was put onto the booking confirmation email including this information. It is not normal practice to read a companies terms and conditions manual prior to visiting a show room. A disclaimer confirming this within the booking email would have saved me a wasted 40 mile journey. Would recommend they add this detail to any pre booked appointment emails to save customers a lot of hassle in future.

Good store, cover all hardware supplies, kitchen and bathrooms, fair prices, sadly they have employed the Covid scenario, so close at 6pm now, I’m sure the B and Q and Wicks be thankful to them though.

Great store with lots of choice - especially the Christmas section. Justine at the Manchester unit was great & helped us a lot with choosing a new bathroom 👍🏻

Great trade supplier for the building trade and shops alike. So much choice under one roof. From a simple fuse to a complete kitchen or bathroom at trade prices. Large car park and knowledgeable staff...been my local go to store for many years.

Mostly everything you need under one roof but unfortunately they took away my retail card for no apparent reason a couple of years ago without explanation. That put up the prices to me dramatically! Consequently I don't go as much now.

Great wholesaler. The prices a reasonable enough to make a profit when selling on, good stock levels. My only issue is the staff make you feel like you're going to rob the place. From the moment you walk in and they ask for your name like they want to catch you lying to when you're checking out and they make you step a certain distance away from the trolley while they scan things. Funny but ridiculous, how paranoid must you be.

It has probably 90% of what you need as a tradesman. As a tradesmen of over50 years it's the first place I look for materials very reasonably priced and a great restaurant. Prices have gone up slightly but that's to be expected still a great deal for tradesman

Not big on many quality brands. A lot of good value budget stuff. Strictly trade only. Can get busy at peak times.

Been a member for 25+ years, see familiar staff faces a lot and they are always helpful, have a good laugh, chat and joke, for those who feel the staff are bad, treat them with the respect you would expect, I do, and feel it is returned.

Trade show today at stax and I met some very nice people, especially Dulux, Hamilton paints and a big thanks to Lick decorating supplies for the freebies

Always a pleasure to go especially coming up to Christmas to go for anything work or Home related. Today (Thursday) was unusually quiet but I expect that’s down to both the economic climate and more people having Home Delivery. The staff are always helpful and friendly which from a person point of View I prefer. You can’t beat seeing what you want to purchase and having the interaction of other people.
