Convenient large car park for visiting harbourside, the aquarium, Bristol Uni or the UHB hospitals.  Much better value than some of the privately owned car parks in the city centre.  Be sure to note which exit level you need and what level you park on, because the car park is huge.  The lifts have now got an excellent feature where you have to swipe your entry issued ticket to use the lifts.  We found that we waited much less time for a lift since this was introduced.  Try to bring some change with you so you can still pay if the card machine isn’t working, particularly as staying a bit longer can quite dramatically increase the cost.  For gluten free and coeliac friendly venues across the southwest – check out coeliacwellnes.com and our socials!

What a terrible carpark. First off it was extremely busy and had to go to the 6th floor to park which is never a problem, when we thought the lift would take us up and down. When we were leaving, we were stuck on the 6th floor for ages and everyone started beeping there horns in annoyance. The worst part was the queue to pay, it went down the stairs meaning we had to actually go back down to pay after already climbing the stairs, because the lifts were not working. On a less busy evening, I suppose it would be OK as there are plenty of spaces but don't recommend using if you can avoid it on a busy day. Edit. After 20 minutes we got the bottom and saw the cause. Road works and temp traffic lights.

Hello, This car park is situated in the ideal location. I found the pay stations were fine, but I would always recommend that you have cash and card at hand, just in case. It is smelly in the stairwells and would benefit from a deep clean and a lick of paint. But I do like how the lights brighten as you walk along and then dim again, I felt like I was one of the X Men, sorry I need to get out more!!

Good car park at a reasonable price and close to the city centre. There are stairs and lifts so accessible for all. There are lots of spaces available so it is easy to park here at any time. The pay machine accepts card and cash. There are 2 entrances, with barrier entry where you push a button for your ticket. You pay at a pay machine as you are about to leave. The ticket needs presenting at the barrier on leaving. There are signs throughout the car park to find your way, and a few doors on each floor to exit depending on where you want to go.

Car parks are pretty boring to review so straight to the point with pros and cons on this one. So positives: lots of spaces, short walk to university, sign posted ok, pricing pretty good for city centre, spaces are a reasonable size. Bad stuff, pretty poorly signed when in the car park I.e to get out and up and down. Terrible road congestion upon departure, no signage to EV chargers, stairs a bit smelly and dirty.

A council owned car park so parking is free for motorbikes (just ring for assistance at the exit and they will let you out). Very confusing though I went up and down twice before I figured out how to get out. No actual motorbike bays, quite frankly silly how hard it is to park bikes in these car parks when you have so many car bays you could easily spare some dead space that isn't even used to mark out an M/C bay.

Horrible, old fashioned car park. Dirty, smelly, hard to manoeuvre round, not clear how to get in and out and poorly signed. One door shuts behind you and you can't get back in and the barrier wasn't working when we went. It doesn't feel safe at night, and there were lots of used "hippy crack" cylinders around. I wouldn't recommend anyone vulnerable to use this car park.

Bizarre car park where you go in at level 5. Level one has the electric parking. You have to have a registered app so download in advance and setup. The entry and exit is number plate recognition and you pay on the ticket when you leave - but no inserting in the exit barrier. Plenty of space and super well located. Over night parking rate is superb. Move before 9am!!

OK car park, it's conveniently located for the University, hospital, St. Nicholas Markets, Cabot Tower. There's plenty of spaces on the 10 floors, there's no lift, or I haven't found a lift so this may make it inaccessible for you. You have to use a smelly stairwell. Prices are reasonable but be careful as once you stay over 4 hours you will be charged 13.50 which is a steep increase, though this is the standard rate for long stay by Bristol City Council, It's best to park at level 8 or level 1, level 8 has an exit for park row, whilst level 1 is next to 02 academy.

I’d like to know what the Bristol City Council is smoking to charge £18 for 4+ hours of parking. Used to be affordable parking when going to town or hospital, but this is now pure theft. Disgraceful.

Convenient for parking at Bristol Royal Infirmary Hospital. The price for 2 hours was £5.00. Stairwells clean and would not recommend anyone walking up the car ramps. It's too long and very dangerous because it's meant for cars and NOT pedestrians

Good option for hospital visits as there is generally spaces available. If you end up have to be at the hospital longer than expected or get a second appointment after your first beware if you go over 4hrs you end up paying full wack £13.50. Little steep for just over 4hrs I think there should be additional payment bands prior to paying the top amount. It was a bit of a shock as I'm normally only the max 2hrs which is a reasonable payment.

Very Reasonable parking we came down around 5pm left around 10.30pm £5.00 does get cheaper after 6pm . So great place park drivers who not drinking on night out . . Bit steep hill, so it's not so great if you do struggle with walking .Close to the Hippodrome and other bars I definitely will use this place again . It can get busy .

A conveniently located car park at this end of Bristol. Good for access to the Hippodrome or the dockside, for the O2 and for Park St. Sadly the price seems to have gone up, but still a good carpark. I have used it many times. Recommended.

DO NOT USE!!!!!!! 4 HOURS OF PARKING JUST COST ME £18.00 no prices are displayed in entry! Been using this car park for a number of years for Bristol hippodrome and today had a very unpleasant surprise when I had to pay the parking. Bristol council are a complete rip off!! When you change the price in future then please display this clearly so people like me don't get caught out!! Profiteering at it's highest!!! 34.5% increase! Are you serious! And this is why the cost of living is through the roof. This is well above the inflation rate!!!! Government run company!!!!

Watch out, if you stay longer than 4 hours the price jumps massively from £5.50 to £12! The stairs could do with some cleaning. But plenty of space!

Almost always able to get in here. Useful for Hospital visits although a few hundred metres to walk to the BRI. £3.50 between 6pm and midnight and you can pre-pay if you arrive after 6pm. Only a short walk to the Bristol Hippodrome and even closer to the Bristol Beacon. Useful for St Georges too as long as you exit on level 8. Lifts work using your ticket.

Easy to find and good security , lift are secure to ride. The only way you can use them is with paying ticket. I think is a priority for elderly and women on their own

  • 2/5 Chris N. 8 months ago on Google
Pricing for this car park has got ridiculous, the 18 pounds charge for all day kicks in after 4 hours, even on a Saturday. Lifts don't work as the 'security' system does not let you in. Shabby is the best thing that could be said of the condition

Plenty of spaces when we used the car park in order to go to the nearby hospital. The car parking spaces are rather narrow and parking is expensive. But against that the car park is clean and well maintained and feels relatively secure.

Great for hippodrome but hard to find entrance. Also if lone female would be worried about the homeless people by the ticket machines telling you what to do. Also very smelly of pee etc in stairwells

  • 2/5 Nick D. 1 year ago on Google
Tight(ish) to navigate, and had restricted entrance due to traffic lights. Said there were spaces but we were one of many cars driving up and down, finding no empty spots. Had to leave and park elsewhere. At least they let us out without charge

We visited Bristol for the day. After reading reviews of all the NCP car parks having mutiple break ins we decided to park here. We had no issues but the car park stinks of urine. Like 20 homeless people in the stairs but were helpful explaining where the lifts were as I was trying to carry the pram down the stairs. We returned at 7pm and there were loads homeless people off their face shouting. Wouldn't wanna park here on my own as a lone female. The car park fees are also a joke. We parked less than 4 hours which was £4.50. But were charged £8. Because the car park has different rates. Till 6pm and then after is £3.50 till midnight. So charged 3 hours and then evening rate. Luckily I won't be returning to Bristol again!

Beautiful carpark, the view of Bristol is stunning. I stopped here while waiting to pick my son up from the bus station, had a sandwich, a coffee and a little snooze...all good!

Reasonably priced car park that is walking distance from Stoke Croft and Old City. There are 8 levels and plenty of space even on weekends Not the cleanest of car parks though. The stairways smell of urine.

Usually spaces available. Great for visiting sick people at the BRI. However, their pricing system is unfair for day visitors. If one does not get back before 6pm, then they will be charged an extra £3.50 on top of the number of hours they've been there up to 6pm. I went over by 30 minutes and a few minutes. I was charged £13.50 one day, the next £9.50. It is OK if ones are going to a show at the theatres, as the standard charge of £3.50 after 6pm applies. I used the park & ride one day - only cost a fiver. Clearly cheaper to travel by bus.

Our go to car park when we visit central Bristol. Run by the City Council it is cheaper than the NCP. The spaces and the driving lanes seem a reasonable size and there's not too many posts in the way making it fairly easy to negotiate. It's on the side of a hill with the exit on the 8th floor! It seems weird to go up to get out! It has number plate recognition so if you've paid at the machines in the stairwells the barriers let you straight out.

  • 3/5 Sue S. 1 year ago on Google
Spaces aren't too tight - I couldn't work out if there were child spaces so simply parked in an ordinary space and it was ok, despite therr pillar. Cost felt a little high - we stayed over 4 hours, so £13.50. Pedestrian exits are limited and there is a lift but signage could definitely be better.

Did not feel that safe here after theatre show and it took ages to get out

I wish I could give it a 5 star but how can you enjoy the view for a long period of time if there are no toilets and it s pretty dirty to be honest , other than that is just fine .

  • 4/5 Mad D. 2 years ago on Google
Not cheap. But always spaces and very convenient for Hospital, University, shopping areas, theatres and restaurants. Stairwells often smell of wee.
