Be careful of charges for extras. Host dropped us at Jagir waterfall less than 8km and asked IDR 200,000. This is more than five times the Grab taxi fare. For comparison, on leaving we were taken by another driver from vivi homestay to Ketapang Harbour - a 26 km journey- for IDR 150k. (I should note we expressed disappointment on Jagir price and we settled on 100k, which is still expensive). Homestay is very nice. There is a noisy school next door and a very loud nearby mosque. However, the rooms are nice and garden is lovely. Lukewarm showers.

WOW! πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ the owner of this home stay is the absolute sweetest! I mentioned that I love this green veggie dish and they made some for us for dinner. Clean, comfortable, and the garden is a DREAM 🌱πŸͺ΄ actual plant #goals! Highly recommend! They grow a lot of their own food on the property as well!

Went for Blue Fire/Sunrise at Mount Ijen and stayed at Vivi Homestay. It took about 30mins drive from the Homestay to Mount Ijen. The homestay location is convenient. Rooms are clean. The toilet is huge and the hospitality given by the owner is a 5 star. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Stayed here on the last leg of our Brono to Ijen tour. What a fantastic little place. The rooms are clean, large and comfy. The porch area has plenty of seating and looks out over the manicured garden. The host, Mr Vivi, is a gem. Incredibly friendly and accommodating, always chats to you with a big smile. The included breakfast was a collection of local sweet breads, a whole bunch of bananas and a good quality nasi goreng. Cannot recommend this home stay enough.

This is a homestay nearby Ijen mountain. The owner showed us great hospitality. He and his wife lives there, which I thought was a plus. Feels like staying with a family in a traditional guest home in Ijen. Enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are very cosy and comfortable. Toilet with running water and a shower with hot water for us to use. Breakfast was tasty traditional Indo food served with Tea. If you want to experience a traditional home with its culture, I highly recommend to stay at this homestay!
